The gym environment in general can feel very intimidating to me. To be honest, it’s not my favorite place to workout but everyone at The Movemeant has been so very welcoming & helpful. The laid back, supportive atmosphere has kept me coming back. Every class has been challenging- & led to the good kind of sore. If you’re on the fence, I would encourage you to try it out! It’s not as bad as you might be thinking 🤔 😂.

I really appreciate the way Erika always demonstrates proper form/technique and gives helpful pointers. For instance, today she advised on breath focus and not to hold arms up overhead during wall balls. Helpful! She also always gives ample pre-workout stretches, which I would rarely do on my own, and checks in with everyone to make sure they’re good with the plan😊

I loved the structure of the workout. I really like how warm up and a cool down is incorporated in classes. I appreciated the one on one time Derek took with me to make sure form was right and weights were right size

Derek joined in the workout to demonstrate form and get in on the fun of squats. I brought up a slight concern with my form and Derek made a quick suggestion that helped me to think about squats in a new way and target muscles that I haven't been able to target before.
