Beret is a wonderful coach. She is thorough in demonstrating and explaining each activity. She is continuously giving feedback and encouragement (even when I think she’s not looking). Wow what a great session. Brick is a great space and welcoming community. Pedro was coaching and told me to adjust my footwork for my over head squats. Made a huge difference to my lifts. Such an expert Would definitely recommend this box to anyone.

This was my first class at Pick-it-up after an intro session. I went in feeling some imposter syndrome - “I’m not fit enough”, etc. Sammy made the instructions clear and provided feedback throughout. I made adjustments with my weights throughout the sets. Overall, my workout was just right; tiring but also enjoyable and energizing. I’m a bit sore but not injured, which was a fear going in. I can’t wait to go to my second session. Pick-it-up is a great place to work out for people of all fitness levels; there were participants lifting serious weights and me. It’s got a cool vibe, too!
