I enjoy Kinsley as a coach. She takes the time to pause what i am doing to make corrections often by doing an example. I find that she also takes the time to make sure I either have a plan for my modifications to the work out/giving me a few modification to choose from. As a person new to gym and very out of shape in both fitness and mobility this make me feel welcome and comfortable at Deadset.

Sarah did very well. I only have one suggestion. Regardless of your athletes abilities, always demonstrate the movements in the workout. Sometimes it’s just a little tip that you share that can help an athlete improve their technique and efficiency in a movement or it can help someone to get that movement for the first time. Don’t be afraid to share what you know.

This was my first workout at Deadset fitness and my first cross fit workout (although I am familiar with a lot of weight training technique). I found Brooke to be helpful and encouraging. I didn't feel that I was micromanaged but did get the support I needed. I appreciated that she gave helpful recommendations at the level I am at and wanted to make sure I got what I needed from the workout. Her sunny disposition was very welcome at 530 am ;) I would absolutely take a class with Brooke again.

Brooke does a great job explaining all the movements in both the workout and skills portions. She breaks things down clearly and makes sure everyone understands what to focus on.
