I love when she’s the one training the class because she makes the environment so much fun with her personality, turning the place into a real family vibe. I like how supportive and encouraging Coach Brain was. There was no judgement and he offered easier and harder options for each exercise which was great! He made me feel less intimidated and lost during the workout since it was a first time trying cross fit. In typical fashion, great time. Hardest part about going to the gym is “getting to the gym”! But then we have these great coaches who keep us safe (form) and engaged. Ildar is one of those.

I have lost over 25 lbs in 4.5 months at Swarm Fitness & Nutrition. I have really enjoyed having Mike as a coach - he carefully corrected my form when I wasn’t doing exercises properly and kept encouraging me to progress. Mike would watch closely during my workouts, adjusting my posture during squats and guiding me on the right way to lift weights so I could avoid injury and get the most out of each move. His consistent motivation made me push myself further than I thought I could. Mary helps me so much with my form, and it isn’t overwhelming at all. She makes small adjustments like gently correcting my posture or repositioning my grip just enough to make a difference without throwing me off. As I try these exercises that feel uncomfortable or unfamiliar, she stays right there, offering quiet encouragement and checking in to make sure I’m not pushing too hard. Her support makes those awkward moments feel manageable instead of discouraging, and I leave feeling more confident in what I’m doing rather than frustrated.

Although I have only taken two classes so far, I absolutely love it! I was a little nervous because CrossFit is new to me, but I feel so incredibly welcomed by the staff! I walked in today unsure if I’d be able to make a PR on my split jerk. Ildar helped me come up with a plan. When I tried to add 5 lbs to my last PR I got in my head and he gave me the reassurance I needed to make the lift. I was even able to add another few lbs making a 10 lb PR today. Thanks Ildar!

Ildar and I have developed a great working relationship that fosters positive growth in the gym. I'm always happy when I see that he is coaching during the time slot I have signed up for.

I attended the 8 AM class this morning at Swarm Fitness & Nutrition after a two-week pause due to my husband, Tom’s illness. I couldn’t wait to get back as I always feel very welcomed and supported during the workouts. Brian, who was coaching, did just that this morning. His positive words kept me motivated even when the exercises felt tough after my break. It felt wonderful to be back in a space where both the workout and the support help me push forward.
Alyssa is a great coach. She provides clear instructions and demonstrations for the exercises we are doing during the workout. She makes sure our movements are safe and productive, and she is always encouraging the participants.

Coach Ildar is one of the most approachable and friendly coaches I’ve met. He’s always the first to say hi and makes everyone feel welcome the moment they walk in. His positive energy sets the tone for the whole class. He’s incredibly knowledgeable and has a great way of explaining lifts and movements, often offering unique cues or examples that really help you understand what to do and how to do it safely. I love that he takes the time to work with each person one-on-one, making sure we’re performing movements correctly and getting full range of motion. Anytime I’m unsure about my form, he’s right there to help me work through it until I feel confident. Before each WOD, he makes sure everyone is ready and comfortable, and after the workout, he always takes a moment to give you a fist bump and a few words of encouragement. It’s such a small gesture, but it makes a big difference, especially for someone newer or still building confidence with the lifts. Coach Ildar’s attention to detail, positivity, and genuine care for his athletes make every class a great experience.

Alyssa was great. My knee has been bothering me so she recommended that I bike instead of run. Also my elbow is sore, so she recommended sit-ups or v-ups. It's nice when the coaches have scales and give us options. She also cheers you on during the class, which can be motivating.

Michael did an amazing job coaching tonight! He is extremely knowledgeable (as always) and explains things really well. For example, he explained to the class how far apart your hands should be for a sumo deadlift using the marks on the barbell. I still had my hands too far apart so he took the time to give me a new "trick" to remember the distance apart my hands should be. I like his classes because he's patient with you, even if you don't get it right away, and he makes sure to individualize feedback.
Mary coached the foundations class today. I found it very informative and well run. Mary brought knowledge, humor , and encouragement throughout the class. I felt very comfortable and appreciated her patience in taking the time to show me proper form . Excellent coaching done by Mary!

Today was my first day private training with Stacey and she is an awesome coach. I have not worked out for years and was living a very sedentary life, so I came to our first session feeling very intimidated. Stacey immediately put me at ease and was very motivating, skilled and upbeat. She explained how to modify workouts, which was my biggest fear…, afraid of not being able to participate because of my lack of fitness. I now feel confident that I can eventually start a class in the future and it felt wonderful to move my body! Thanks Stacey!

Class was awesome. Always pushing me and keeping me motivated. First day back from from a lazy vacation. I'm still new and was worried about being able to keep up. Everyone including Edmund kept me focused on proper technique and staying safe. As always, I left feeling better than when I showed up.

Alyssa was amazing and so helpful! As a drop in, it’s always nerve wracking to walk into a new gym but Alyssa and Mary were wonderful in making me feel at home and making sure I was good to go!!! I will definitely be dropping in again next time I’m in town visiting!!

Edmunds the absolute best! He’s supportive and helpful with my form. He’s gentle and effective in his couching. Plus he’s always got the best music!! His dance moves are a bonus!
The class was amazing. It was definitely a tough workout but it felt good. Mary kept touching base to make sure I was feeling okay. She is a super attentive coach. She listens to how you are feeling with your body and helps you work around it.
She did great keeping everyone motivated and there is always lots of energy in the 5am class that seems to make everyone want to push themselves to be the best they can be. Great job by the coach.

It was my first crossfit class and I had so much fun! The coaches were awesome and if Eli didn't say it was his first time coaching I wouldn't have even known! Everyone was wonderful and made me feel so welcome. I didn't feel uncomfortable at all especially since I didn't know alot of the techniques, they were all very attentive and super helpful!

Managed a large class really well. Time management was good. He put away my 53 lb kb after the workout, so 5 stars for that. More coaches should follow this behavior cause no one wants to put away stuff after a workout.

Today was my first day of CrossFit, and I absolutely loved it! I was able to sweat and get a total body workout within the first 10-20 minutes. Payton helped me with my form, adjusted my pace, and pushed me to help me get the best out of my workout. Super friendly and informative! I had a great time, and can’t wait for tomorrow!

Coach P is seriously great. Provides understandable cues regardless of my level and performs a postmortem after the WOD with me where we discuss what went well, what didn’t, and how to approach the next WOD with the same moves. She was made for this.

Brian is one of the tougher coaches, but he is very knowledgeable. He & the other coaches have helped me, over the past 3+ yrs. I’m in the best shape of my life. They push you to become a better version of yourself. God knows I wouldn’t do a damn burpee without them.
I always feel welcomed and encouraged in the group classes. All the coaches are really informative and helpful during the class. They all accommodate my strengths and shortcomings, along with anyone in the group, i.e. injuries and optional movements. I wish I started this 10 years ago. It really has turned back the clock for me. Just walking up a set of stairs without holding onto the handrail is big. Along with more energy and mobility. Remember…there is no magic pill.

Brian was great, I liked how he explained each part of the workout and let you know when the transition was to the next step. His voice carried throughout the gym and was very clear.

First week has been amazing so far. Prior to me signing up, I was under the impression that you had to be in a good shape, conditioned, and must have good stamina to join crossfit Swarm, However that is not the case. Anyone can start as long as they have the commitment and drive. Coaches Chris and Payton are super supportive, encouraging, motivating, knowledgeable and know you by your name. Both Chris and Payton made sure I was comfortable with the exercises, kept a keen eye on my form to ensure I am performing the exercise correctly, made sure I understood the assignment and rotation, and set me up with the equipments I needed (DB, Jump ropes, etc..)… if it wasn’t for the Coaches, I don’t think I would’ve been able to push myself harder. Can’t wait till the next class !
My session was super informational and supportive I had a blast in a positive and safe environment Patrick and Peyton helped create!
I believe Coach Erin was helpful today in adjusting my weights so that I don’t tire out, as well as giving understandable and clear instructions.

Today’s workout, my first, was great! Coach Chris checked in with me to be sure I had proper form and knew what I was doing. He was very encouraging throughout and picked an awesome playlist! 😜 I also super appreciated Coach Stacey’s guidance, welcoming enthusiasm, and that both she and Chris worked together to be sure I was okay to manage any adjustments I needed to make due to my joint hypermobility. Mike makes everyone feel welcomed in the gym and guides everyone to their own goals for the workout. Highly recommended! Hardest step anyone will make is the first one. Walk through the doors and don’t look back. 3 classes and I already feel a difference how my body is feeling. Take that step! Don’t look back!

Eddie, as well as all the coaches at Swarm, are supper supportive and give great direction. I've learned that you can pick up a piece of knowledge from each coach and combine all that knowledge together to help you get the best out of each class. Eddie has been very informative with proper instruction and has stopped me from potentially injuring myself and corrected my form. I highly recommended his class.
I have been a member at Swarm for a little over 3 years now. My regular class time is 6:30pm with Coach Mike. When I first started, I was the definition of novice when it came to all things fitness. The support I was given gave me confidence to stick with the programming not only in those beginning stages, but also through all 41 weeks of my pregnancy and through post-partum/recovery. Coach Mike's knowledge, advice, and patience has allowed me to push myself to become the athlete I am today.
This class was my hardest yet, but Peyton was great and kept things light and entertaining. She also gave great tips how to alter the workout slightly; pace ourselves so we could complete the workout before getting too fatigued. 👍

I love all of the coaches at swarm. Patrick is especially funny. I actually giggle a lot when I listen to him. The stuff that comes out of his mouth sometimes, is gold. lol! Patrick is the best. He always knows how to motivate and knows exactly how much to push people. I don’t live locally during the school year and it’s hard for me to get to Swarm as much as I would like, but every time I do get to a class it always feels like going home again.
