Dropped in for a free trial and was immediately greeted by Coach Euan. He gave me a tour of the facility and made me feel very welcome. During class everyone introduced themselves to me and were very nice. Euan is a great coach. He led a very thorough warmup that focused on mobility and activation. He have great cues and coached every athlete throughout the class. Overall, great experience and I would recommend Mojo to anyone!
He was great. Throughout the workout, he made a point to watch everyone closely, noticing when form started to slip and stepping in to offer adjustments or encouragement. He also took the time to chat with each person, making it feel personal rather than just another group class. That kind of attention made me feel seen and supported, which motivated me to push harder. It’s rare to find a coach who balances technical focus with a personable approach, and that really sets CrossFit Mojo apart.
Melinda is a great coach. She manages large class sizes with ease and still makes it a point to provide feedback to each athlete. She has recently helped me improve my rowing. I am using my lats now and I can feel it. 😉

I haven't done CrossFit in several years. I tried different strength training gyms, but never found anything I liked as much as CrossFit. Coming back felt like a reunion with old friends. Cherise has always been an amazing coach and supporter. She continues to connect with everybody in her classes and makes getting up at 5 AM a little less painful, and a lot of fun. Cherise is a natural in finding small tweaks to your form that make a movement feel much easier. She manages large class sizes with ease and ensures everybody is getting the workout that's right for them, whether it's RX, a scaled option, or working through injuries. She the best and I'm so happy to be back!

Melinda is my favorite coach. Especially in today’s class, she made me feel so comfortable and welcomed. I had taken some time away from the gym and this was my first class back in almost 2 months - Melinda greeted me warmly and integrated me back into the class like I had never left. I really enjoyed the thorough warm up (mentally with the jokes and physically with the movements). TMac did a good job with explaining movements and helping Joanne. She feels much more confident about CrossFit after today. I also enjoyed the emphasis on safety. For constructive criticism, I personally would like feedback when my form is starting to break. It’s definitely hard to monitor all in the class at the same time of course. Overall though that’s more of a great to excellent type of suggestion. Energy was great. Music was fun.

Not so much a review about today’s coaching specifically, but having completed a little over six months from my first experience now, it surprises me every so often how much better some of the movements feel. At the start, I couldn’t do a handstand more than five seconds on the wall. A month ago, we tested handstand push-ups and I was able to get to 8-9 unbroken. Today’s exercise had 4 rounds of 6 strict and none of them felt heavy. All the coaches have pushed the right niche ways to help me along or answer questions about form or mind body connections for certain movements, and it feels good to get those occasional moments when you realize the improvements mid-workout.

I think my favorite thing about any good CrossFit class is how much you can accomplish in the class time if you stay on task, understand the goals for that class and work hard. A coach doing a great job can make the difference for that. Jay broke things down, Jay demonstrated proper technique as needed, and Jay helped with scaling appropriately. Jay did a great job.

Euan was great! Deadlifts aren’t something I really ever do since I’m scared to mess up my back, but Euan gave great pointers before I put any weight on. I would definitely go to another session that Euan coaches.

Today’s workout had a really tight timeline with having a heavy strength portion and Melinda did an excellent job of facilitating class and getting us out on time. She was also attentive to each athlete and actively offered form feedback. Her energy was also really upbeat and positive, going out of her way to have a personal chat with everyone in class. She was an overall fantastic coach!

Mike had a good class tonight, kept an eye on everyone’s movements and kept everyone moving. He also retrieved magic markers that rolled onto the floor during class.
Friendly and knowledgeable. Welcomed me in as a drop in. Explained the workout very well. Great balance of instruction and cheering. The wod prep right before the Metcon was a great add. My home gym does not always do that. Will be back.

Here are my buzz words for TMac! Knowledgeable, encouraging, supportive. She meets you at your ability and encourages you to push a little further. She runs her classes in an organized manner and works with every single person at some point during each class. Her movement demonstration is clear, concise and spot on. She addresses you by name while working out so it becomes a personal experience. She corrects your form to make you a better athlete and to prevent injury. She really seems to love what she does and that stands out during class. She is a joy to work out with.
Euan always plans great workouts with modifications if people need them and always does a great job demo-ing the moves and encouraging us!

I’d be lying if I didn’t say this class kicked my butt. The instructions could’ve been a bit clearer (and slower) but overall it was a fantastic atmosphere and I’d probably go back soon!

Having 10 years of CrossFit experience and travelling to different cities training at many CF gyms Euan was an amazing coach and his passion was authentic and energetic. He was a fast ninja going from athlete to athlete during the strength part of the class ensuring the athletes were on point with their form and technique. Jay did an amazing job of making me feel welcomed! I had fun catching up with an old friend and the workout was just what I needed to get the blood moving after two days sitting in work trainings. If work brings me back to the Madison area, I will definitely drop in again. Thank you!
Mike was really encouraging (like always) and gave good cues. He was attentive to all the members. He was intentional to check in before class after I took a little hiatus which meant a lot!

Coach is really patient and extremely helpful, but also pushes you to be your best self.
Jay is patient and really pays attention. He is always checking on progress and how people are feeling in the moment. ….collectively and individually. He really watches technique and makes corrections to prevent injury. He is awesome!!! Just a side note: every coach at Mojo is amazing! Love!!!
