Coach Meyer was fantastic. Coach was energetic and motivated the class. Her knowledge of the by mechanics was high-level coaching. She was able to queue athletes to the corrected appropriate option of what I think is the most neurologically demanding lifts: snatch accenting the squat. This movement is Key and athletes advancing in both weight and challenging themselves to do better.

Was clear and answered all my questions in a calm and patient way. Obviously, I was the newbie and less experienced than most of the class, but he still respected my level by giving me exercises suited to where I am. He watched my form closely during each movement, offering constructive feedback that helped me avoid injury and improve technique. Even when the workout got intense for others, he made sure I wasn’t left behind or overwhelmed. That attention made me feel welcomed and motivated, not just like I was slowing everyone down at CrossFit Hyde Park.
Coach Mia is awesome. Very clear and concise when explaining the WOD and is very good about helping me scale the workouts for my fitness level. Very excited to see Mia’s name in the app when I’m checking the class schedule

I was visiting from out of town and dropped in for a couple of classes. Cami was very welcoming, encouraging and motivating. Great atmosphere and positive vibe!

Mia is really an awesome coach. Her demeanor is very calm/relaxed and comfortable yet she is very knowledgeable and efficient at running large group classes. She gives constructive criticism when necessary and it is always very useful. Still rehabbing my shoulder and she took the time today after class to go over some new banded shoulder stretches. I very much enjoy Mia’s classes, she’s one of my favorites.

Really good! Encouraging & helpful throughout the entire class. It was very difficult & I ended up throwing up after the class (not used to pushing myself so hard) but in my head, that’s a sign that the class was GOOD and I’m still learning my limits. I really enjoyed the class & learning the new movements which Daniel assisted me with throughout :)
Haven’t meet everyone yet, but so far I’ve felt at home since day one. Coaches and athletes are a lot nicer than you’d expect from a competitive gym. It can be tight in the evenings, but everyone is accommodating to each other. Definitely in the top 2 of gyms I’ve been to long term and I’ve been doing this almost 15 years.

Jordan ran a great class. We had a relatively complicated lifting complex and he made sure that everyone was comfortable with the movement and standards. He explained the metcon well and gave good guidance on the intended stimulus and expectations.

Cami did phenomenal today. This was my very first class here at Hyde Park, and I have never done a split jerk before and she coached me through how to do one properly with an empty bar before putting weight on. She was very clear and knowledgeable, it was very easy to understand what she was telling me to do. She is a great coach for sure!

Ryan Cox was an excellent coach. He cared to know about my fitness level and worked to scale my training to meet me where I’m at. He was encouraging and communicated well. I felt really secure having him as my coach. It makes a difference having a coach like that who can support you where you’re at.
Coach Breanne was wonderful. She was welcoming and encouraging throughout the workout. She was motivating throughout the WOD. She provided clear instructions and asked if everyone understood what was to performed.

Ryan brings the best energy when coaching. He is welcoming and inclusive, helping new visitors to get comfortable and regulars to make new connections. His lightness and playfulness are great at getting people moving and having fun- which can be a significant challenge early on a Monday morning. The warm up today felt especially thoughtful. It helped relieve stiffness from the weekend and prepared my body for the workout well.

Beautiful gym and Coach Mike was excellent! Admittedly, I booked a class and drove 40 mins to this gym for a chance to catch Danielle Brandon here (I did!) but was so pleased with the community and instruction. 10/10 would definitely drop in again!

Mike is always on time for our 530 class. We take 530am bc we all have stuff to do and places to be early in the morning and he always runs a timely class and we always finish on time! Which is awesome. Mike is great.

Hailey was awesome! I am not new to CrossFit, but I loved the way she led class and the fact that there was an introduction period where everyone had the opportunity to introduce themselves (as a drop-in this matters to me very much). She also did a phenomenal job coaching each movement and as I said while I am not new to CrossFit, I felt that even someone who has not done the movements before would have been able to follow along. All in all Hailey was phenomenal and I cant wait to come back to class tomorrow, and Friday!

Cameron is a great coach. He uses multiple methods to deliver information so visual and auditory learners understand the technique and movement goals for each workout. He also doesn’t randomly yell during the workout like other coaches do, which is nice. Trying to decipher what is being said when a coach yells during the workout is a PIA. He also moves around the floor and offers coaching for those that need it, again showing and talking through the movements. He also has an assistant that makes quite the impression. Coach Nate is the best part of the day!
I was dropping in from Jacksonville. I really enjoyed the work out and programming. Coach was knowledgeable and motivated everyone there. He was able to cater to many different skill levels. When I visit Tampa, I will def come back to this gym. Also a plus is the size! Plenty of space to spread out and everyone has their own equipment!

Cameron was great. Really good warm up and explaining the workout. Maybe a little more structure/guidance on how to break down the workout would be helpful. Eg. allot 15-20min for the run, and how you should break up the sets between 3 people. How to select the weight (should be able to sets of 5 or whatever, focus on form vs speed? Full depths on the wall balls, modification options, etc). I understand it was a very large class with lots of very fit people, and a long workout so maybe the time didn’t allow for all that. But overall, I still think he did a great job. Thanks coach!!
