Ella is a good trainer. I’ve attended a handful of her classes and it’s she’s consistently good. She offers modifiers for exercises that hurt my damaged shoulder and will re-explain things when she spots a confused look on people’s faces. She offers encouragement and criticism without being too in-your-face, which I prefer; but if you’re someone who wants more attention, I believe she could accommodate that if asked.
Maddie was knowledgeable and gave good technical advice, had a very good attitude, was super friendly! She’s a great coach!

It was my first CrossFit session and Ella was patient, gave excellent feedback on my form, and taught me each movement personally. I really appreciated her ability to know a good starting point for my body so that it was not an overwhelming experience.
Stacey is awesome! Makes working out fun and understandable. She always takes the time to teach you whatever is needed and monitor your form to ensure optimal and safe performance.
My first full session and Ella was fantastic! She helped explain all the exercises, ensured i was using proper form, and cheered us all on! Much appreciation for the warm welcome and encouragement!

I always love dropping in to gyms and seeing new programming and meeting different coaches. Matt was amazing at working with everyone no matter what scale or whatever level they were at. Pushing the class to try movements a little outside their comfort zone. You can see he truly helps provide the 1% we each need to give to get better on a daily basis. I've really enjoyed having Luke as a coach! He is genuinely one of the nicest and most friendly people in the gym. His positive attitude is contagious and really lifts the whole class mood, especially on those tough workout days. He makes CrossFit feel fun and supportive!

Keel is a great coach! He is so knowledgeable about all things CrossFit and fitness. Anytime I have an injury or need to scale, he is ready with an accommodation.
It was a great class for me as a beginner. Coach Tyler made modifications to suit my experience level when it was needed. I was challenged enough and also was motivated enough too.

Loved everything about this gym! I reluctantly dropped in in between doctors visits while visiting Columbia . From their immediate responses on Instagram, to their detailed information on how to drop in, to their amazing app, friendly environment, fun, and in-house programming to their great coaching . It was very interesting that I had so much in common with so many members and I was welcomed with arms wide open from the moment I stepped in the gym. I live at the lake in the summers and during the rest of the year Orlando and I am truly thinking about driving the hour to go to this gym during my stay next summer due to the environment, Crossfit fringe has. 10 out of 10 would recommend.
The class was great! I did not have much experience lifting weights, but Luke explained everything and adjusted activities so they would be accessible to me. It was a good challenge and I hope to attend again.

Corey is the BEST! He makes sure I don't take myself too seriously, inspires me with laughter and encouragement to push myself, helps me with modifications and better form when I need it, and has made me stronger than I ever thought possible. Since coming to CrossFit, I've started to notice I'm getting toner and toner - the hard work is paying off. Corey makes me excited to come to class and put in the work. So thankful for this community!

Excellent space, perfect for the needs of the Columbia outlaws rugby team! The manager was well versed and happy to assist with what we needed, I would highly recommend to anyone looking for CrossFit or group fitness opportunities.

Today’s class was great! I enjoyed the start of a new cycle and really loved the accessory work. Happy to be getting back in the routine. Coach Tyler does a great job of keeping the class moving at a good pace and keeping everyone engaged.
My first class was Saturday Partner workout! It was great! Tyler was supportive and helpful throughout the class and I didn’t die 😜

First time at Fringe pretty spacious. You could feel a very inviting atmosphere. Coaching was pretty good. Ella was awesome. Would recommend if you are looking for a CrossFit gym in Columbia.
This was my first class with Tyler and he did a great job. He created a welcoming fun environment, actively took time to give me (and others) specific feedback and corrections, helped me to engage with modifications and often followed up to ask about my injury, and the pace of class and instruction made it easy to follow what we were doing. I will definitely be back to his classes!

Ian was so much fun! Kept us engaged, asked silly questions, made us laugh, and genuinely improved my day. His cues were 🔥 and he helped me squat wayyy better

Sam is beyond amazing. She has completely transformed my life, not kidding at all. I started CF with less than zero knowledge, a long list of joint problems and alot of extra weight. After 3 years I move so much better, have less joint issues, and alot less weight! All of this I attribute to how amazing Sam is at making CF work for anyone and everyone, while being a true friend at the gym. I cannot say enough about how awesomesauce she and the Fringe community are.

The coach was very inclusive and made sure that I felt included even though it was my first time there. It felt good that I felt important and welcome even though they knew I was just a drop in from another state! The coach seemed very helpful and knowledgeable.

Sam is great! As always she was super friendly and very knowledgeable. She walked us through the warmups and the workout quickly. She explained what the goal of the workout was and then provided feedback and encouragement during the workout. I highly recommend Fringe and Coach Sam!!!

Class was amazing, the instructor was very detailed and positive about each workout and assisted anyone who needed help while encouraging them and the whole class. The workouts was great and I definitely felt the burn.
Awesome experience. Was able to modify as needed. Very supportive environment. Haven’t trained at this intensity in a long time so the next few days will be rough…..totally worth it!!!

Sam did a fabulous job. She demonstrated any newer skills and talked about modifications. She checked in on everyone often. Sam made critics easy to understand and fix, while celebrating everyone’s hard work and successes. I enjoyed her upbeat attitude and made the atmosphere fun and inviting for all, at all levels of fitness. The workout seemed challenging but doable with the right modifications.

Bring a friend week always has fun partner workouts, and it is so cool to see our coaches demonstrate how CrossFit is for everybody!! Ian really took the time to go through proper movement mechanics before the workout and continued to assist and coach those more unfamiliar with CrossFit movements during the workout as well!

This morning it was my first time with CrossFit and i enjoyed Tyler and the group. Sam was awesome and she took her time to explain exercises to us.
Sam was great- my first class back after having a baby and Sam was so supportive in altering the workout to meet my postpartum needs. She gave me excellent guidance on transitioning back to CrossFit after a significant time off and life event and made some recommendations target areas to focus as well as who to work with to accomplish my goals. I’ve already messaged coach Nate to see how he can help too!

Nate is amazing. He gives very helpful tips to improve positioning and watches to make sure you do the moves correctly and engage the muscles intended in that movement. He is also attentive to any issues anyone might have. Today I expressed concern regarding hamstring tightness. He was curious about it then reassured me. He also was amazingly motivating... always giving the "good job sarah" right as it starts to feel like too much, even counting down with me on the last reward reps! And, he has an awesome team/community building attitude. I feel very fortunate Nate coaches at the gym I attend.
Always love class with Coach Nate! He manages to find the balance between supportive/tough/fun that helps make class challenging enough to make you better but not feel defeated.
