Philip did a very nice job breaking down butterfly pull-ups for our small class. This is the second time in recent history where Philip has broken down a more complex movement to make it accessible. Although I like to keep him on his toes, he really does a nice job. Seriously, keep it up!

You’re prepared and interested enough to not only walk us through each movement, but offer tips on technique. And you do more than just walk around and supervise; you take time to watch each person, make observations about their movement and offer guidance. Technique is important to you and it shows. Philip is a great coach. He explained all components of the WOD. During class, he was helping everyone to improve their form, kept us motivated. I personally struggled with thrusters and Philip pointed out how I can improve the form.

Alex did an amazing job coaching today. I am back to the gym after having a baby, and realized- mid workout- that I I was doing too much. Alex came over to check on me, and not only encouraged me but also gave me some modifications that I hadn’t thought of. He didn’t belittle me or make me question whether I was back too soon; he literally gave me positive feedback and helped me adjust what I was doing so I could still complete the workout. Heather did a great job on greeting and checking in several times with each athlete during our workout. It was my first time to gym in 6 months, recovering from a total knee replacement. She worked closely with me to be sure I didn't overdo it. 24 hours later I'm feeling some muscle fatigue in my thighs, not bad. All day yesterday the endomorphins must have been pumping strong, as I had no soreness or fatigue from the morning class. I'm looking forward to going back next week and becoming a regular attendee.

Was asking Jake about how I should think about tension across my shoulders and upper back before starting the snatch balance. I have been a member of a CrossFit gym for over a year now and I can confidently say it has been a life-changing experience. The intense workouts, supportive community, and knowledgeable coaches have helped me push my limits and achieve fitness goals I never thought possible. Today was my introduction to fundamentals of crossfit. I was little intimidated with things I heard about crossfit etc. But she was helpful in breaking down approach for a beginner and helped me setup account etc. I am much more prepared to take up the challenge
