Alison always motivates each individual athlete by calling out specific strengths and encouraging us to push a little further every time. She makes everyone feel seen by remembering your name, checking your form closely, and offering helpful adjustments during the workout. Her energy is contagious, and I always leave her classes feeling stronger and more confident. I love attending her classes at CrossFit Actuate because the workouts are challenging but doable, and Alison creates an atmosphere where you know your effort matters. It’s clear she genuinely cares about each person’s progress, which makes showing up something I look forward to every week.

John motivated the class to keep us working hard throughout the entire session at CrossFit Actuate He always checks in with everyone, noticing when someone needs a little extra encouragement or a slight adjustment to their form.
Alison was amazing , took her time with teaching everyone at their own pace until everyone understood and got it. Herself and Damon worked really well together as well. Super excited for my next class with Alison

Tiffany is always helpful when coaching on technique and giving positive feedback during class. She is very encouraging during a workout by complimenting my technique and motivating me to keep going. I always feel mentally and physically better after a workout with Tiffany!
It was intense but I had fun and felt supported throughout the workout! Even when the exercises pushed me to my limits, the encouragement and guidance made it feel manageable and motivating. I left feeling challenged but energized, which is exactly what I was hoping for!

Kim did a great job at meeting me where I'm currently at in my exercise journey. She recognized that I was experiencing knee pain and helped me make adjustments to continue the workout while not causing pain. She also did a great job at explaining which areas of the body to activate while doing each skill. For example, reminding the group to activate the shoulder blades during push-ups, activating glutes when doing a superman hold, and drawing down the rob cage to activate the abdominal muscles when doing core/dead-bug workout. Kim also creates an encouraging atmosphere and makes me push myself to work hard every class. Thanks Kim!!

Really loved the class with Kim today! I told her it was my first time back in the gym in over a year and she was very encouraging and didn’t put too much pressure on the class. Appreciate that! The class was super challenging and she gave great instruction and reminders on form throughout. It’s tough to squeeze it all in to an hour but if there is any room for a cool down or even a suggested cool down/stretch in the other room that may be welcomed :) so looking forward to getting back into it!
She takes time to explain and demonstrate each exercise! It is an excellent reminder of how to try to do it right!

Im still personally having a hard time remembering the motions of a move or stretching and kali today and as well as all the other coaches notice and correct me, witch Im happy for bc sometimes I dont feel like im doing a task right. And today encouraging me to go heavier with the KB farmer carry. Told me my hands should feel like theyre about to fall off, witch they did. Felt the burn, thanks again !

Calley is always “spot on” with the Legends. She know exactly what each of us are capable of and need. I will miss her so much when she goes on maternity leave. I can’t imagine another coach as attentive to each individual athlete.

Calley has really matured as a coach. She is clear and direct on exactly what it takes to perform the exercise correctly and be safe. She is beginning to excel at the cadence and tone.of her within exercise instruction. I feel.comfortable.in her.class, protected. I am confident I won't get hurt in her class; even when 40 front squats hurts a bit. Great Job!
Gave lots of motivation. Always checked in to make sure I was doing good. Made sure to show me scaled back option and understood that I recently had a baby so made sure to make sure the moves I were doing were safe.
Very encouraging and had many different ways to adapt the workout for those who needed a lighter approach to certain exercises. Im thankful I came for the class and was able to push myself😊

Did an amazing job making you feel welcomed and at ease. She acknowledged that all of it can be intimidating for beginners but that the community is here to support you (which they have been) and having her correct my technique (or lack thereof) has been an eye opener.
Great experience with Damon, this was my first “real” CrossFit class, after 9 months of Baby&Me, and I loved every minute of class! Damon was very good to go over everything, and demonstrate it all, and ask for any questions!

Megan creates well-balanced workouts with good rotation of muscle groups. Each class has been different, which keeps things interesting. She describes exercises clearly and demonstrates the exercise as well as several adaptations, which makes the class more accessible to beginners. My fitness has improved a lot since starting the class last month.
