Excellent coaching! I felt welcomed and supported especially it being my first big workout since delivering my 3month old. It was a hard workout but I felt I could tailor it to my fitness level.
The Coach did very well today, offering lots of great tips throughout the session. They carefully observed my form during each exercise.

What’s one personal change you’ve noticed since joining CrossFit Actuate?my endurance and strength is improved. Also, my form is better when doing squats. Calley taught class today. She gives clear instructions both verbally and physically. Calley is always upbeat and positive; her approach is gentle and affirming. She ensures everyone is doing the exercises safely I’ve had the pleasure of having Calley as my coach on two occasions and both times were exceptional!
Kim was so welcoming and caring. She made going to a CrossFit gym for the first time feel like home. She is the best!

It was my first CrossFit class and first time in a gym in over 20 years. I felt a bit uncomfortable but Kali was very welcoming and helpful with instructions. She provided clear feedback and direction for improvement. I look forward to coming back.

What’s one positive change you’ve noticed since joining this gym?" Since joining CrossFit Actuate, I’ve noticed a significant improvement in my overall strength and endurance. The coaches are attentive and help modify workouts to fit my level, which keeps me motivated and progressing. The community here is supportive, making it easier to stay consistent and push myself. Overall, my fitness has improved more than I expected.
John consistently coaches to each individual’s goals. He always goes the extra mile to help us achieve them. Today was no different. Top notch!

I was very nervous going to my first class at CrossFit Actuate, unsure of what to expect or whether I’d be able to keep up. Megan was there right away to welcome me with a calm, friendly presence that instantly reassured me. The atmosphere in the gym was so welcoming which made it easier to relax. Megan took the time to demonstrate different variations of each exercise, clearly showing options for all levels. She was great at noticing when I looked a bit unsure or hesitant during certain moves, and she would come over to check in, gently guiding me through the proper form and offering encouragement. The session itself was really relaxed and fun; the combination of supportive coaching and a friendly group made it feel less like a workout and more like a positive experience I looked forward to.
Megan offered great support during today's class! She explained thoroughly which areas of the body to focus on during each movement. She also provided options to adjust the movements for every persons current abilities. Great class!
Coach Damon is very intelligent when it comes to everything fitness. Damon speaks loud and clear during every class he teaches and always comes to class with the most positive upbeat attitude and crossfit acutate is sooo so lucky to have him on their coaching team

Great class today at CrossFit Actuate! Emily is great - so encouraging for me at this age ! I really appreciate how she takes the time to show us proper form and movement, breaking down each exercise clearly to help enhance our performance. She watches closely, correcting little details like foot placement or posture, which makes a big difference in how effective the workout feels. I love that about her - it makes the whole experience more rewarding and helps me push myself safely. The energy she brings keeps me motivated throughout the class, and I always leave feeling like I’ve improved.

What positive change have you noticed since joining CrossFit Actuate? My technique regarding weights has improved significantly. My back issues have lessened a great deal.
This review for Katie Edwards, rowing with her - what I learned is being consistent with the group and finding a rhythm is the best strategy. Her classes are fun, she is sharp and vigilant. Love the classes and getting passionate about rowing!

This was my first class of Baby & Me at CrossFit Actuate, and I will say I went in very nervous! I haven’t had a structured workout in a while, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. Kim was so welcoming from the moment I walked in - she took the time to show everyone each movement step-by-step and carefully explained how to maintain proper form for safety. She walked around during the workout, gently correcting posture and offering encouragement that made me feel confident in my ability. The class itself was energizing and fun, with a mix of exercises that were challenging but not overwhelming. I left feeling awesome and motivated! I’m looking forward to getting back to class next week!

Calley did very well explaining the workout - especially about the pace needed on the rower. And gave positive feedback to help with some improvements in style required. I love the legends class- definitely feel the benefits with the ageing process kicking in.
Kim offers modifications to help meet you where you are, carefully adjusting exercises so they fit your current level without feeling overwhelmed. She brings an energy to every session at CrossFit Actuate that fills the room, combined with lots of motivation that pushes you to work harder than you thought possible. I have noticed a difference in my own strength - movements, such as those up downs that once felt challenging now feel a little more controlled and less difficult with each session.

Alison always motivates each individual athlete by calling out specific strengths and encouraging us to push a little further every time. She makes everyone feel seen by remembering your name, checking your form closely, and offering helpful adjustments during the workout. Her energy is contagious, and I always leave her classes feeling stronger and more confident. I love attending her classes at CrossFit Actuate because the workouts are challenging but doable, and Alison creates an atmosphere where you know your effort matters. It’s clear she genuinely cares about each person’s progress, which makes showing up something I look forward to every week.

Really loved the class with Kim today! I told her it was my first time back in the gym in over a year and she was very encouraging and didn’t put too much pressure on the class. Appreciate that! The class was super challenging and she gave great instruction and reminders on form throughout. It’s tough to squeeze it all in to an hour but if there is any room for a cool down or even a suggested cool down/stretch in the other room that may be welcomed :) so looking forward to getting back into it!
I always love when Kim coaches. She is an excellent instructor, and very enthusiastic. She checks in before class and genuinely cares about everyone.

Calley has really matured as a coach. She is clear and direct on exactly what it takes to perform the exercise correctly and be safe. She is beginning to excel at the cadence and tone.of her within exercise instruction. I feel.comfortable.in her.class, protected. I am confident I won't get hurt in her class; even when 40 front squats hurts a bit. Great Job!
Gave lots of motivation. Always checked in to make sure I was doing good. Made sure to show me scaled back option and understood that I recently had a baby so made sure to make sure the moves I were doing were safe.

Great experience with Damon, this was my first “real” CrossFit class, after 9 months of Baby&Me, and I loved every minute of class! Damon was very good to go over everything, and demonstrate it all, and ask for any questions!

Megan creates well-balanced workouts with good rotation of muscle groups. Each class has been different, which keeps things interesting. She describes exercises clearly and demonstrates the exercise as well as several adaptations, which makes the class more accessible to beginners. My fitness has improved a lot since starting the class last month.
