Great 1st class however it was difficult due to my many months of inactivity due to foot surgery. Jen was amazing offering alternatives to the activities I struggled with. Looking forward to the next class.

I love Jill's instruction! She's great at offering alternatives to an exercise to make it a little easier OR sometimes more difficult. She's also very approachable & willing to answer questions.
Sam does an excellent job with every class she coaches. Provides clear and helpful instructions and has a good eye for correcting form. Most of all brings a calm but passionate energy to every class that makes it a joy to be a part of.
Paige was our Coach tonight and it was my first class, she made a fun, comfortable, and motivating environment. Definitely makes me want to return again for more classes with her

Today was a challenge because of a shoulder injury this past weekend. Coach Jenn encouraged me to do a scaled version of the power snatch and overhead squats. This didn’t aggravate my shoulder and felt good working on improving my technique. Appreciate this as the blood flow and movement was what I needed.
It was great to be back after being off for about a month. Will, I like the detail you go through in the weight portion of the workout , all the way from how you should set up your body, and the detail in the movement of the barbell.
Today was my first class with coach Eri! He was upbeat and supportive. he took the time to make sure my technique was good… it was a tough workout and he cheered us on and pushed us to keep going. Thanks Eri!
Jen is always giving great advice on technique. She genuinely cares about me as an individual and my health journey, taking the time to check in regularly and tailor her suggestions based on how I’m feeling that day. She has created a gym at Beach City Fitness Penticton that not only has great coaches who challenge you to push beyond your limits with well-structured workouts but also fosters a community where sharing experiences and focusing on continual improvement is the norm. I enjoy every day I have a class here - there’s an energy in the room that motivates me to keep going even when the exercises get tough. In a relatively short time, I’m already seeing significant improvement in my strength and overall fitness, which keeps me coming back. I look forward to more great coaching at Beach City Fitness Penticton in 2026 and continuing to watch my progress unfold on this fitness journey.

Amazing gym. The coaches are professional, supportive, and really know their stuff. The community is friendly, positive, and motivating every single day. Great programming, clean facility, and top energy. Best CrossFit gym in Penticton. Highly recommended.

First group class was awesome! I felt so welcome and felt the structure and instructions were so great! As a complete newbie to these kinds of workouts, it can be a little overwhelming! But Jenn is fantastic and I had a blast.
I absolutely love this fitness class. As an “older” woman, finding a space where I feel both challenged and supported hasn’t always been easy. The environment is welcoming, and judgment-free, which made it easy for me to step in with confidence, even on days when I doubted myself. The instructors are incredibly encouraging. They push me to work hard, but always with a focus on proper form and listening to my body. I never feel pressured—just motivated. Each session leaves me feeling stronger, more capable, and more proud of what my body can do. What makes this class truly special is the sense of community. The other women cheer each other on, celebrate progress, and create a supportive atmosphere that keeps me coming back. I’m gaining strength, confidence, and a deeper belief in myself week after week.
Jennifer is an amazing coach who is very patient and knowledgeable. I usually attend the ladies only Simply Strong class but ventured into the comp training class and was surprised

Ron is really personable and gives positive, encouraging feedback to correct form in a timely matter. He doesn’t just give feedback, he also provides rationale for his correction so you understand the why. Highly recommend!

Great, I learned so much! My only constructive criticism as a teacher and also a former coach is that the beginning instruction should be half the length before we do something. There's a lot of standing around at first. For example the warm-up could be explained and then we do the warm up then the next portion explained etc. however, I realize things evolve and perhaps this is best practice for coaches now. I know as we start to do more similar workouts it will be more easy to stay engaged in the explanation until the end. (Another lady mentioned to me that she zones out halfway through the explanation as well as it's too long) Otherwise, I think the coaching is top-notch and I can't believe how fast the classes go!

Will explained, and demonstrated well, and wrote notes on the whiteboard for all different types of learners. He also encouraged questions and showed us many adaptations when we were havi g difficulty with moves. I felt I got a lot out of the 4 sessions and am looking forward to classes
Love it ! Well explained the exercises and liked the introduction in the beginnings for everyone. Felt observed and secured will doing the exercises. Also the energy of the place was welcoming and fun
As we build in strength and technique, today was push ups. Will showed me a push up using a band. It was a great way to feel more confident in doing a full push up with the help of band to push UP!!!! Game changer!
Had a good workout today with Jennifer. We tried new movements and as always left feeling invigorated and sweaty 😅
I forgot how hard exercise was but, I felt energized despite the soreness after. They do work you but, in a good way that’s benefitting you! 😊

Will was upbeat and encouraging today. He was great at explaining our workout, and very helpful and patient with those of us who are new to the gym. I’m inspired to get fit and look forward to working with him at my next session!

Good class to start the day
Will did great, In my case I have been 1 year without training at all as we had a new baby and I had some Lower back pains. I told Will and Ron that I was just coming back into training with the main gold of building my strong body again and feel healthy overall. Will and Ron had been very supportive so far helping me with exercises and going on my own pace. I am trying to stay focused on consistency and go training at least 3 times per week Regards,

Samantha gave great guidance on technique & was great with being aware of the different skill levels within the group, offering alternate options for different skill levels. I also appreciated her observing individually to make sure we executed the moves properly. :)

Great! I loved it! You were very motivating, approachable, gave clear instructions. I liked that you made sure to interact with each of us one-on-one at a few points during the course of the session. Only issues with last night were the parking situation (one lady left because she felt it was too sketchy to walk in the dark, alone from the restaurant parking), and so many people (which I realize won’t be like that during the classes, but that feeling during the trial class could still be a deterrent for new people).
Class was excellent as Ron always makes it. Ron has a great way of explaining the workouts each class and always finds a laugh to make classes a lot of fun I love the challenge that he puts up Thanks Ron!!
