Great upper body day today
It was a great class. I always feel better having gone to class. When I miss class i notice I don’t move as well. She is very encouraging and able to adjust the training to my physical limitations
The class is nicely paced and appropriate for my age of 76 years. There is a nice variety of exercises used on different days so the class does not become too routine. I'm happy to be doing this class.
Karen did an excellent job. She is very approachable and makes the class fun! She keeps things moving and adjusts it to each individuals level.
Coach was great very understanding and gave me alternatives when I couldn’t do the work out. I loved the welcome feeling.
I like using muscles that don’t get used often to increase our balance and mobility.

Jill and her staff do a fantastic job following up with you and encouraging you - to help you reach your goals. Everyone there was very kind - even at 5am on a very cold morning. The gym was very clean and has everything one needs for a good workout.

Attending the Functional Fitness class at Xtreme Fitness has been a life changing experience. Karen knows how to challenge us and , keep us focused with her fun personality and professionalism. Each class is unique. She incorporates familiar exercises in different ways to keep class interesting. I also really appreciate her explanations of which muscles the exercises are focusing on, and why strengthening those muscles will help us. Karen is a blessing to those who have her as an instructor! Xtreme Fitness is a wonderful asset to the community! Thank you for offering this class.
Since joining Xtreme Fitness & Nutrition Studio, I’ve noticed my muscles feeling stronger and more toned in ways I hadn’t before. The workouts here carefully target different muscle groups with a variety of exercises. Karen gives us a bit of cardio but controlled. Today’s workout was well rounded targeting core, legs,ankles, arms wrists and balance. Thanks Karen!
Karen is the best instructor I could ever have to get me in shape and strong. I will be 75 in a couple of weeks and I am in the best shape since my 20's. I know it is because of Karen's instruction and work out routines. Our class would never be the same if someone else took her place. Coach Gerardo was great! He made us feel welcome and great at explaining every workout! He encouraged us to push through every workout! That made us feel that he cares for our improvement.

She is amazing - every class at Xtreme Fitness & Nutrition Studio is filled with a variety of great exercises that keep things fresh and challenging. One session might have us moving through dynamic bodyweight circuits, the next focusing on weighted strength training or high-intensity intervals, so you never get stuck in a routine. Throughout the session, she stays right there with us, demonstrating every move with clear, precise form so it’s easy to follow. Watching her break down each exercise step-by-step makes it simple to understand the technique, and it’s motivating to see her perform the moves with such energy and control. What really stands out is how she keeps the energy up the entire time, moving around the room constantly to watch our form closely. She doesn’t just glance over; she leans in, offering hands-on adjustments or gentle corrections to ensure we’re doing the exercises safely and effectively. When she notices someone struggling with balance or fatigue, she quickly steps in to adjust a position or suggest a modification, like swapping a full squat for a chair-supported version or reducing the weight, making sure no one gets left behind or discouraged. Her encouragement feels sincere and uplifting, giving you a real boost just when you need it - whether that’s a quick "You’ve got this!" or a nod that says, “Keep going, you’re stronger than you think.” I enjoy every minute of each class because there’s a real sense of accomplishment by the end. She makes you feel successful by celebrating the small wins.

What stood out most was how clear and supportive your guidance was - you broke down each movement step-by-step, showing exactly how to position my body and move safely, which made the session feel smooth and motivating from start to finish. Your encouragement kept me focused and confident, especially during the tougher parts when I felt like slowing down. I especially liked lifting weights on the bench; focusing on controlled reps with your reminders to keep my form tight made a big difference. I could feel my muscles working correctly without strain, and that attention to detail helped me feel stronger and more confident throughout the exercise. Thank you for making it such a great experience!
Gerardo makes every workout session fun and challenging. He’s a stickler on form as well as lifting “heavy” but does so in a way that is always personalized. While we give him grief (and sometimes swear at him), he knows that this is our way of acknowledging that he’s pushing us to the max … which I REALLY appreciate. Both he and Jill make every session at Xtreme Fitness and Cafe VERY worthwhile.
Awesome class as always, I feel great when I finish a class with Karen. I appreciate the testing to track the progress I’m making. I highly recommend Karen and team at extreme Fitness. 😊
Awesome experience! Both coaches made me feel super welcome right from the start. Even though the workout totally kicked my butt and I couldn’t get through everything, I still got great tips and encouragement the whole time. I never felt judged, just supported and motivated to keep going. Definitely looking forward to the next class!
This is my second class, and although it is hard, Gerardo is careful to make accommodations for me since I am 50+ and a beginner. He pays close attention to how I’m moving, adjusts the exercises to fit my pace, and encourages me without making me feel rushed. The way he personalizes the workout at Xtreme Fitness & Nutrition Studio makes a big difference in how I feel during and after class. I look forward to continuing with him and making progress!!!

All of it! I sincerely like the pace of our classes. I believe karen realizes we are fitter and getter more fit from her classes and is incorporating that in each program I also like that each class is different Working on different areas of our body
That was a tough core workout. I was really sweating. Love how you guys always mix it up and how you're always incorporating new equipment and new moves. I was the only member in the 6:30 class. I think core day is necessary, for me.
I really love how Gerardo conducts his classes. He is very knowledgeable and helpful to the participants for all levels of their ability. All classes are very useful.
Today’s class was great! Karen makes everything fun and interesting and gives us plenty of options to work at our best level. I look forward to Tuesday and Thursday!

Great! It was my first time joining a WOD with him and I felt very comfortable. Gerardo provided guidance for proper technique which was also a plus for me.

Very pleasant to work with, very caring, kind and compassionate. Love how exercises are tailored to whatci need for balance and strength. Love how I can work at my own pace as well if something is hard. So happy I found this class so I can move better and not be so stiff, and to gain strength and balance back.
Jill does a great job of explaining each exercise and helping me increase my weight as the classes progress. I always feel comfortable asking questions during class. The gym environment is very welcoming and makes me look forward to the workouts!
Monse is a great leader and coach, she is not only helpful in explaining the workout but also challenges you to take on more.

Really enjoyed this class! It had a great combination of movements and the workout was super effective. It focused a lot on the lower body, which I appreciated — my legs definitely felt the burn (in a good way!). The instructor kept the energy up and the pacing was just right. I’ll definitely be back!
