I am traveling this week, but Coach Justin keeps me motivated and on track by providing workouts. Each workout comes with the specific exercises, the rep schemes, so that I’m challenged in the right way without feeling overwhelmed or unsure. Even from a distance, I feel deeply connected to Tarheel CrossFit - Gym & Fitness. On days when my motivation dips, the community encouragement pushes me to keep going instead of giving in. Having that thoughtful structure and consistent support makes it so much easier to maintain my progress and stay focused despite being away from the gym. It’s reassuring to know I’m not just working out blindly but following a plan that adapts to me wherever I am.
Jeremiah was great! He gave feedback on scaling options to make intimidating exercises more approachable without losing sight of long term the progression 😁
Amy does a great job teaching and helping us scale as needed. Amy is a positive coach and she’s funny which makes class fun! I look forward to the classes I see her coaching.

First crossfit workout since knee replacement June 13. Sam aligns the workout to your ability but ensures each individual is challenged. Good coach and always encouraging!

Coach Jeremiah had everything setup prior to class starting, remained engaged with the whole class, and helped individuals make adjustments as needed. He methodically demonstrated the movements to make completing each phase of the session quite easy. He did a great job.
Nate did a great job coaching today at Tarheel CrossFit - Gym & Fitness! He was very intentional with every movement, taking the time to carefully demonstrate proper form before we started the workout. During the warm-up, he guided us through each exercise with clear explanations of why they mattered, which helped me understand how to prepare my body properly and avoid injury. Throughout the workout, Nate gave great feedback - he closely observed my posture and immediately noticed when it was off. He helped me adjust my stance by repositioning my feet and aligning my shoulders, which made the exercises feel more effective and much safer. His attention to these details kept me focused and motivated the entire time, making it easy to push myself without losing form. By the end of the session, I left feeling like I had really improved, not just gone through the motions. There was a real sense of progress in my strength and technique that I hadn’t experienced in other workouts. Nate’s coaching made the difference between a routine session and one where I felt genuinely challenged and accomplished.
Deb runs an amazing class from warm up to cool down. Movement demonstration, feedback and corrections are all on point! Would highly recommend attending her classes along with the other classes at Tarheel CF.
Deb is always fantastic! Very thorough and gives each athlete attention and feedback. Gives great coaching cues and pushes you to be better. She's the reason we chose the class today.
RJ was great and scaled the workout to what I was capable of doing properly but still pushed me.
Sam does a great job of explaining the movements and showing what right looks like. He does a great job of reinforcing the movements by going through all of the points of performance. He also does a great job of spot checking and motivating students.
Coach (Amy) always does an awesome job, she pushes everyone to give their best while still keeping form and safety. She takes time to explain each movement clearly and gives helpful tips on techniques.

She was incredibly attentive, taking the time to watch everyone’s form and offering helpful corrections and encouragement throughout the session. I really appreciated how helpful and supportive she was. She also made sure each athlete got exactly the guidance they needed. Amy’s positivity and attention to detail truly made a difference.
Coach Deb was awesome. Great energy genuinely caring about each person's progress. Coach Justin and assistant Fransisco were amazing. They kept a gentle watchful eye on both my lovely spouse and I the whole time. We were looking for a place to be able to train to get back into shape. The website and wording had an inviting vibe to it. So we booked our intro class. We were not disappointed at all. It was all we hoped for and more. The facility is nicely equipped. There are other amenities as well like a cool juice bar. The class itself was top notch. Even though there was a general curriculum everyone worked at their own level. Ideas were encouraged but not forced. If anyone is looking to get in shape in the Fayetteville region you have to check out Tarheel Crossfit. Two thumbs way up. Thank you Justin for your vision. It was very fun and easy to scale I have never done any CrossFit and I was not overwhelmed at all.
Great class! Sam walked through the warm ups and the exercises and equipment needed. Kept track of time and did a great cool down stretch.
Amy was so kind and thorough with the movements during this class. She went into great detail about each movement. She was pushing us all the way from beginning to the end!

Nate is always helpful at instructing technique and motivating through the toughest workouts. He was the first coach I worked with and one of the biggest motivators to continue coming back.
He was awesome! He greeted me at the front door and asked me what my name was. He also had asked me my Crossfit experience and if I needed help. He was very attentive during the class.
Joe always has an excellent job making everyone feel included in the class. He has a positive attitude, but no nonsense approach to ensuring that we finish the exercises in a safe and productive way . hands-down favorite coach.

Great drills for OH squat. No coach has ever drilled that bar needs to go back behind head a bit when you squat. Watched all athletes mechanics and form. Modified for PP needs 🤗

Taylor has such high energy and is very encouraging! She makes you feel comfortable with doing what is best for you whether to push yourself or scale the workout. Definitely felt motivated!

Deb is great! Never have I had a coach who consistently corrects the detailed positioning in my lifts and gymnastic movements. She also just brings a great attitude to class every time.
Great coach, very knowledgeable, pleasant to talk to, and she’s an amazing athlete. Took the time to make sure everyone understood the workout, demonstrated appropriate scaling options, and staggered the EMON to prevent people running into each other on the ropes.

It was a great experience! It was a big class with a fair amount of instruction and equipment required, so the coach did a great job breaking it down for inexperienced cross fitters. She also managed to socialize with me as a drop in, which was really nice. I would definitely go back to this gym next time I’m in town.
