Michelle has helped me so much in the past year! When I started CrossFit I was a 69 year old in rehab. (Especially mentally) Michelle has made me a believer in myself, pushed me when needed, patted on the back when successful. All this help, and still fun to chat with! While she is a great coach, she is even a better person! While the star ratings go 1 to 5, she gets 10 stars from me! **********
What was the highlight of today's workout? Learning modifications that help me scribe my fitness goals. The coach at Sycamore CrossFit took the time to explain each adjustment clearly, showing me how to adapt movements without losing their effectiveness. It felt empowering to discover ways to tailor the workout to my current abilities while still pushing toward progress. This personalized approach made the session feel not only challenging but also achievable, which keeps me motivated to come back and improve. Being able to connect my goals directly to the exercises gave the workout real purpose, and I left feeling confident about my path forward.
I appreciated the positive feedback on my form, I also appreciated him showing concern for my shoulder which has been a point of concern for a while.

How are you feeling after class? Wonderful. I feel ready to work and energized to take on the day. Michelle fine-tunes my workout for me every time. I can walk in with painful knees, stiff and hesitant, and after the session at Sycamore CrossFit, I’m able to walk normally again - steady and strong without discomfort. She takes time with us, carefully watching our form, adjusting exercises to fit what our bodies need on that day. She’s very skillful in her job, knowing exactly how to modify movements so they help rather than hurt. We all enjoy her personality too; she brings such a positive energy that makes the workouts feel supportive and motivating, not just challenging. It’s clear she cares deeply about each person’s progress, and that makes every class feel worthwhile and effective.
First time back in a CrossFit box in 10 years. Carl coached the morning session and stacked up a nice WOD mixing cardio and pull-ups. Afterwards, members there came up and gave me fist bumps and kudos for job well done and Welcome to Sycamore CrossFit. The community and coaches attention given to each member is just what I need right now. Will be back!
Coach Rebecca did great. Listened to my adaptation needs, but coached me thoroughly and confidently during the entire workout.
Coach Michelle is great! I love having her as a coach. She always has a positive attitude and a contagious smile. She’s very encouraging and makes sure to check in with everyone individually prior to the start of the workout.
Carl led another great class. I appreciated the advice on managing stress and eating since this is an important part of staying motivated to work out consistently which I’ll admit is hard sometimes for me.
I have been so nervous to come back and Sue makes every class feel like you belong. She’s so supportive, explains things well, and offers great guidance on where to challenge or taking it slow. She constantly checks on certain movements for participants when it involves a known injury or challenge. It has made coming back so much less stressful and fun :) appreciate sue!

Great workout. Super kind people. A lot of laughs. Coach kept us moving and gave great instructions along the way. I would highly recommend attending a class. If you are new, the hardest part is walking through the door, after that the coach walks you through every step of the way.
Gwen was great as always. Her criticism, said in the best possible way, is constructive and helpful. She always helps scale as necessary and provides options if the prescribed workout is above my pay grade.
I have attended 5 or 6 workouts so far. Great facility! Welcoming community and supportive coaches. Highly recommend!!

Class was great today! Michelle had great enthusiasm and 2 classmates had significant “firsts” today. She gave personalized scale options and made sure everyone was ready for the workout.
Michelle is a great coach! She always has modifications ready for me, helps me with my form and motivates me. She encourages me to try harder without being a drill sergeant type of coach- I love when she coaches class- we laugh a lot, high five and get a good work out in. I’m learning so much from her and the sycamore CrossFit team.

She is truly incredible coach! I can't say enough positive things about Michelle. She is, without a doubt, one of the best CrossFit coaches I've ever had. From the moment I started, she has been an incredible source of knowledge, motivation, and positive energy. Michelle's encouragement is infectious. No matter the workout or how challenging it is, she always finds a way to make you believe in yourself. She celebrates every victory, big or small, and her enthusiasm makes even the toughest days feel manageable. Her ability to push you to your limits while keeping things fun and supportive is a rare talent. I am blessed to have her as a coach!

Nathan is a great coach! He knows how to challenge you safely to make the workout benefit you the most! He is great at keeping the class motivated right at the hardest part of the workout which helps us keep the push strong until the buzzer runs out!
