I can’t imagine a better fitness trainer than Cole. He’s professional, and caring, and gives each person in his classes the time and focus as though it’s a one on one session-without taking away from the rest of the class. His workouts are tough and creative-he pushes, but respects each individuals limitations. He is welcoming to newcomers, and makes each person feel comfortable right away. He is one of the reasons why Rise Fitness is such a terrific gym!
Rise has a great atmosphere. The equipment is continually being updated. A very down to earth gym but focused on the client's goals.

Cole is always so helpful. I’m over 50 and just started working out regularly in the last couple of years. He reminds me when my form needs correcting and I appreciate him noticing that and telling me how to correct it. He also pushes me to lift a little heavier and gives me confidence while strength training.

I enjoy Hayden’s classes. Great instructor with a cool vibe. It would be nice if he’d vary the routines a bit. His classes are a great mix of cardio, strength and bag work but the sequencing and the specific exercises are pretty much the same from week to week.
Love Hayden’s class! A perfect balance of predictable routine and new challenges. I’m still pretty new and I’ve missed a few weeks of classes, but I jumped back in today feeling like I was picking it right back up. He breaks down the motions and patterns in a very clear way for a beginner, but also builds up the intensity that leaves everyone struggling. Worth every second!

Hayden is an incredible kickboxing instructor! He goes beyond just giving us a great workout—he really focuses on proper form and technique, which I truly appreciate. His classes are challenging, motivating, and fun. You can tell he cares about his students improving and doing things the right way. Highly recommend training with him if you want to level up your skills and fitness!
Today was my first Fight Fit class and my first time at Rise. Kevin showed me around the gym and took the time to explain the basics of the class with me. As a veteran who is not new to exercise, I can say this may have been the best workout of my life. It was a full body workout, it was challenging, and it sent my endorphins through the roof. I can’t wait to return to Rise for another Fight Fit class. Kudos to Kevin for proving a kickbutt workout.

I don’t wake up willingly at 4:30 am for anything. Cole’s class is the exception. How he manages to infuse such energy and community feel in his classes so early in the morning is a mystery. The workout programming is on point. They are crafted with progression in mind so you can measure yours. Cole offers form corrections that ensure gains without injury. My favorite is the kettle bells that he incorporates in the conditioning and bootcamp workouts. It’s hard to find a KB certified instructor in the greater Annapolis area and especially such a knowledgeable one!

Hayden is the most knowledgeable fitness coach I have ever worked with. He truly cares about your specific fitness program, and will tailor your workout to your needs and abilities. I ruptured my hamstring last summer and I give Hayden all of the credit for my rehabilitation. He's the best!

Erin ran a great class. She allowed for modifications which I liked. I could add or take away to my workout. This is all great because some days my body feels great and others I’m dealing with minor injury or fatigue. It’s welcoming vibes to come it and get a class in rather than not because the whole class has to be one way and one intensity.
My 12 year old daughter has been doing the KidFit program with Ben and Erin for a few months. We have been on a long search to find a physical activity that she enjoys. This week I was sharing with her how much I like our weekly RISE routine. “Yeah, it’s the first ‘sport’ I actually like.” Ben and Erin provide such a great balance and mix of activities that are fun, and build strength, stamina, coordination, and new skills. The KidFit group has a wide range of ages, and even though my daughter is on the older end, I think she really appreciates the sense of community, inclusivity, and joyful vibes of the group. I got the open gym membership and have been running/walking on the hamster wheel during my daughter’s classes—I’m feeling stronger too. Though I’ve never considered myself “a gym person,” I’m so grateful that we found RISE and that movement is a regular part of our lives again.

Hayden is a well educated trainer with experience helping somenof us older fellers COMPETE!! He is great with all aspects of this body Re-creation. All efforts designed to safely get our old ass bidies back to respectability without injuries!!!
Ben Biondi is a great teacher and motivator as well as a great friend that is why I will climb out of my bed at 4:30am for him to kick my butt and it is well worth it.
Wolf is motivating and keeps you pushing yourself even when you’re ready to give up. Highly suggest taking this class if you’re looking for a change physically but also mentally.

Great! My daughter Norah is 7 and loved the kids class!! He told me what she needed to work on and I've incorporated that at home when I remember! ( squats! ) plus I noticed her form with ducking from punches while practicing boxing with her dad! We look forward to coming back!

The text said I was supposed to review Paul, but I saw Wolf today. Whatever. They both get 5 stars. Both are fun and friendly, and meet me at my fitness level. Both are helpful when I have questions. Paul turns off the lights so the room has a swanky club feel. He gets an extra bonus point for that. Wolf lets me punch him, and doesn’t care that I almost hit him in the face. So he gets two extra points.
Today was my first class at Rise and I was super impressed. The class was well structured, and the instructor (Cole) was knowledgeable, attentive, and kind. The atmosphere was positive and energetic, and the community was supportive. Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic class! I appreciated the calisthenics - and the push ups! Whenever Ive been away from working out for a while I always feel those the most, especially after Ive let myself out of a workout routine for too long (no excuses lol) but also notice the best results quickly when I get back into being consistent with those basics! The combos were great too! Perfectly timed, not too complicated, and built on each other. Mixed variety of speed punching and kicking drills, utilizing the basics! I love it! No matter experience level, those are the drills to perfect. I love to zone out and find a rhythm when I’m boxing so doing just those basics and building on the with power or speed, really works the technique and the fast twitch muscles! You also opened opportunity to kicks so each person a different levels could take something from it. Great balance of class dynamics between the calisthenics and the boxing! Music was on point too! Good mix, kept me amped up and helpful to have rhythms to keep beat with your punches! ( thats a personal thing I do, you DEF don’t have try to tailor songs to punching drills) but generally decent paced worked out songs have a beat that can “challenge” you to stay on pace with your punching . You had those! So thank you🙏 All that to say keep doing what your doing it! It’s a great class, and hope you keep doing more of what’s working 👍

Hayden Fisher is the best! Very warm, friendly, caring person. He explained everything to me and made me feel comfortable as soon as I met him. The class today was awesome. I was able to follow it and complete the class with his gentle guidance and tone. Hayden is a professional and I will gladly recommend him to my friends. Wolf is a phenomenal trainer, he has the best combos. His noon workouts are a great mix of bag work and calisthenics.
Just complete the “Murph” challenge on Memorial day. Rise events are the best and love that they include family of members. Always leave with a feeling of community. It’s awesome to collectively suffer with each other!

I enjoy Paul’s class. I appreciate that he structures the class for maximum on-bag training. While I appreciate the occasional HIIT burner, the core of what I seek from a Rise workout is the fight-related activity. As such Paul’s classes are my favorite among all the fine Rise instructors.
Cole continues to set up killer workouts that leave me energized for the day ahead!! 100/10 recommend. :)
Wolf is one of the best trainers ever! If you’re looking to be pushed beyond what you think your body can handle AND see concrete results AND feel incredible, work out with Wolf! He’s amazing!
