Kari is always so motivating and happy in the mornings. That is super helpful for a 5a class. It finally clicked yesterday that im the one that she's talking to when she says elbows up.... I will forever hear that in my head from now on. Don't be afraid to call me out! Im not always with it enough in the mornings to know that im doing the movements wrong :)
Melissa was great! She makes sure to call me out if I’m not going low enough on my squats, encouraging me to really hit the right depth so I get the full benefit. When my form starts slipping on deadlifts, she spots it and reminds me where to engage my muscles and how to keep my back safe.
I'm so grateful to have found RCF! The coaches are really attentive and always want you to be safe and have fun. I love that the gym is so diverse and the community is so welcoming.
Today's workout was a push but definitely learned to keep onngoing even when its not easy

Hi coach! Trying to submit a review for Shelby Cross but her name isn't on the list of coaches. Shelby's Monday class was great, she's consistent with going around and spot checking newer members, and has great energy throughout the workout. The WOD was also quick, challenging and fun.

I love working out at RCF. The coaching is supportive and encouraging, never overbearing. Workouts are very challenging, in a good way, and I feel like I’m getting a balanced, varied, effective workout every day. Coaches give good advice on form, and are always willing to listen and answer questions. Community is great there too. Lots of very friendly, good people who are there to workout together.
Sarah was very supportive and encouraging throughout the workout. She provided valuable feedback on my form which was helpful for me to feel my best and avoid injuries as I begin my CrossFit journey.
Coach Loe took the time to separate me and teach the basics. Appreciate that greatly especially as someone on day 2 with no CrossFit experience!

She was great! I didn’t feel the need for coaching, and it was comforting to know that if I needed it that she was close and available.
Every class makes me better than I was yesterday. Specifically, Loe doesn’t play games and makes hard movements the normal movements. In 8 years of CrossFit, I have made more progress in 4 months at RCF with Loe and his coaching team and membership than I ever thought possible.
Attentive. Gabby makes sure she is there for you. In a full class, you'll feel like it's a 1 on 1 lesson. Gabby and all the coaches are phenomenal. Thank you! This place is a family!
For Coach Melissa! Coach Melissa always keeps an eye on everyone and their technique in the gym. Recently, she notes that I tend to pause before going into my hip extension during my cleans as I like to pull with my arms too quickly (Coach Sarah says the same 😬). Overall, Coach Melissa is always positive and motivates us to do our best!! I miss the 5am class but Coach Melissa has made me feel welcome at the 9:30am class!

Had my first day, and it was a good experience! The coach was knowledgeable and supportive, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the workout was the right amount of challenging and fun. Excited to come back!

Kyle works out during every class he is coaching. If he’s not working out he is on his phone or chatting with members not in class, in the corner. He does not watch the athletes in class and certainly does not coach them. It is extremely concerning watching some of the unsafe movements and techniques during classes. He doesn’t explain movements and this is extremely concerning for newer/more inexperienced members. The warm ups are inadequate and are not tailored to the WOD/strength movements. This is a recipe for injuries. It costs a lot of money to go to CrossFit. People expect to have coaching, proper warm ups, and help throughout classes. And unfortunately when taking his classes they feel unsafe and inattentive, not to mention this feels very unprofessional for a coach.

He’s a really good dude who takes your personal progression serious while making sure your form is good to prevent injury. All around good trainer.

Every time I come to class I feel welcomed and am receiving the community I’m looking for. The class was well structured and coach L came around and gave some excellent feedback to the attendees. There was a wide range of participants and class is simply fun yet extremely challenging.
My second day was painful and awesome and OG Kyle was so great!!

Loe is a pro. He is great at breaking down the movements for those who need the extra support, and challenging us old timers to push harder when he knows we can. He just needs to make Carter do RTG every time so the rest of us have a chance.

It was my first time back to RCF in quite a while. I had forgotten how warm the coaches are while still kicking butt. Kariann took time with my group during bench press to help us work up to safe but heavy weights. Glad to be back!

Great WOD really fun class today
I’ve been training with Loe for over two years now, and I can confidently say he is the best coach I’ve ever had the chance to work with. The welcoming and supportive atmosphere of our gym is a direct reflection of Loe’s leadership. He fosters an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued, comfortable, and motivated. The strong sense of camaraderie among our members is a testament to the positive environment he creates. Loe’s commitment to personalized coaching helps each of us achieve our individual goals. He celebrates our successes and stands by us through our setbacks. When I first started CrossFit, I didn’t expect to stick around, but now I can’t imagine life without RCF. I feel truly fortunate to be part of this community.

Loe is always top best when it comes to coaching😌 his warmups I feel, are personalized not just to the individual but for the class. There’s always that one stretch we all need but didn’t think to do. He’s ALWAYS watching, which is what you need and should want from a coach. He really does care about his gym peoples and it shows not only in his coaching but also when he takes the time to talk with you. Loe is great and RCF Tacoma is top notch😊 we get stuff done here!! If you’re wanting to try CrossFit, RCF is the best place to come. You’ll wanna stay😉

Coach Gabby is an awesome instructor. Provided great tips for both the strength session & WOD, and she was very encouraging throughout the workouts, which is helpful when you’re struggling for motivation!
Kari was helpful today during strength and pointed out my posture, which actually truly did help me. Cheerful per usual, especially since she wasn’t supposed to be teaching.
