I’ve been training with Andrew since March 2025. Every session, whether private or group, he takes time to connect with his clients. He takes great care to ensure body posture/positioning is correct to avoid injury. He has a passion to help others & it shows in every interaction.

I thought the class was informative and a lot of fun. Andrew always gives a great description of the movement and body mechanics which makes the movement make sense and helps me avoid injury. I like his personal attention to everyone’s body mechanics as well as his sense of humor and how he makes us all feel at ease. I am enjoying the classes very much!

Andrew is a great coach. He models each exercise for us and then includes moderations for those who may need it. He checks on everyone during each movement to make sure they are targeting the muscle groups correctly. Although it is a small group class, there is always a good balance of individual focus too.

Today Andrew coached us through a comprehensive workout that was productive and fun. He corrected technique as needed while demonstrating proper technique throughout class. Andrew offered participants options for movements based on their capabilities or preferences.

As usual, Andrew’s expertise shines in not only his programming workouts but in his attention to his athletes. I just turned 70 after starting with Andrew on my 60th birthday and I am ever grateful for his knowledge and the personal attention he offers to all.

Today specifically was circuit endurance training. Those days are always a lot of fun, lots of variation and solid cardio which is hard to get in the Connecticut winter. Highly recommend working with Andrew and Primal in general.
Great full body movement practices that were gentle focusing on reconnecting, rebalancing, & restorative
I showed up to class with a pinched nerve in my neck and wasn’t sure what I would be able to do during class. Andrew had solutions for me as always, and I was able to do every exercise with his guidance. I completed the workout pain free and even felt I had better range of motion after the class. I also received some feedback for a leg exercise that was specific to my body and imbalances, and it really helped! It was a fun environment as always and a great start to the day!!

The other day, I shared with my 21-yr-old son a new exercise that I had done that day at Primal Path. We laid on our back, picked up our hands and feet and when Andrew said “go” we had to roll over, jump up and sprint for a few steps. This week my son has been in our attic screwing metal connectors to all the rafters in our old house as my husband, who is my age, is unable to roll around in the attic to do this type of work. My son suggested that obviously I would be capable of helping him due to Andrew’s incorporation of movements that keep aging members agile :) I joined this gym at 45 and 7 years later am still participating 3 days a week, most weeks. Andrew strives to improve workouts, methods and equipment so it is always challenging and a lot of fun!
