Bill has always been one of my favorite OVCF coaches. His whiteboard meetings are thorough and get me thinking about how to get the most out of the day’s workout. Bill’s warm-ups and demos prepare me for lifting and WODs without the fear of going into a movement “cold” or without a modification that suits my body/fitness goals. I’m consistently impressed by how Bill handles the chaos that comes with teaching bigger, evening classes. He’s always in control of the room, and sets a good tone for the class while keeping things fun and positive. I always look forward to Bill’s classes, he’s awesome!

Everyone at the gym is so kind and accommodating. Even though I haven’t come in so long and have to start from scratch, Joe walked me through every moment in a supportive and not at all demeaning way. And every patron is so kind and welcoming! Everyone should go

What did you accomplish today? Joe is always supportive and shows you the proper way to do the movements. During today’s session, he carefully demonstrated each exercise step-by-step, making sure I understood the correct form before I even picked up the weights. He walked around the room, watching closely and offering helpful adjustments when my posture slipped, which made me feel confident and safe throughout the workout. His encouragement kept me motivated, especially when the exercises got tough. Because of his guidance, I was able to push myself harder without risking injury, and I left feeling stronger and more capable than when I arrived. Joe’s approach turns every workout into a learning experience, and that really makes a difference at Orchard Valley CrossFit.
Penny was great. She explained things so I didn't feel lost as a newbie to crossfit. The class was challenging. The other members were also friendly and encouraging.
This was my first CrossFit class and it was a long time since I have been to any gym. Chris was welcoming and tailored my workouts to my wimpy little body without making me feel separate from the class. Everyone was super nice and I left feeling great!

Coach Penny is amazing! She always keeps class fun and the warm-ups are never boring. She explains everything clearly and pays attention to the small details that make a big difference in how you move. You can tell she really cares about everyone getting better. Plus, she’s hilarious, her sense of humor keeps the energy up even during the hardest workouts. I always look forward to her classes!

I love coach Katie . She is thorough in explaining the movements before class. She checks to make sure we have a solid plan before the workout. She is also super strong and inspirational ! Plus she picks good playlists

He is one of the best coaches I’ve ever had. So motivating and inspiring! I probably would have quit day one if it wasn’t for him constantly pushing me to keep going. Even when I feel I didn’t do that great, he still cheers for what I was able to do. And it’s not just me but everyone who walks in.
Erin is the BEST! I usually need a lot of modifications and she always takes the time to help with such great suggestions. She's patient and enthusiastic about helping everyone build strength and mobility at their own level. She made me feel immediately welcome at OVCF when I started this summer and I'm so grateful for her guidance these past few months!

Great class with Bill today. Bill gave me a very clear approach on how to modify kettlebell swings to accommodate my injured shoulder. And a couple of timely corrections on my form. Made for a fun yet hard workout.

I feel so fortunate to have had Erin as a teacher, given how long it’s been since I’ve exercised and chronic medical issues. She made me feel comfortable, modified my exercises accordingly, taught me proper form for lifting, and monitored me to insure I was doing okay. Her expertise in health and fitness, warmth, and encouragement have sold me on returning for future classes.

Nahdeen was the coach today and she was great. It has been a minute since I have been in a CrossFit gym and with it comes slowness and working around some injuries. Nahdeen was patient and gave me good substitutions that let me get a full workout along the same lines but scaled down from what the group was doing. Thank you.

A newbie to CrossFit here 👋🏼 Loved the warm up and pre-activation work. Penny started us out making sure our form was on point before we progressed with weight. It was a very safe and inviting environment with lots of fist pumps! Someone told me I’d be hooked and this first week is proving to be true.

I was searching for a CrossFit gym that could accommodate me after a previous rotator cuff surgery and a few back injuries. I’ve been medically cleared for about six months now and was eager to get back in shape. I reached out to Orchard Valley CrossFit and spoke with Penny, who recommended I try one of their free sessions. I signed up for the 5:30 AM class and met Coach Ryan Miller. Before the class started, I shared my concerns with Coach Ryan regarding my condition. As the session began, I noticed many advanced athletes in the group, but Coach Ryan took the time to provide me with modified options while keeping the entire class engaged. I never felt left out or uncomfortable working alongside more experienced students. Instead, I felt welcomed and capable of completing the workout with modifications without any judgment. The students I met were incredibly professional, courteous, and interacted with me as if I had been attending for months. I genuinely enjoyed the class and highly recommend Orchard Valley CrossFit to anyone looking to get back in shape after an injury. They take the time to explain and modify exercises so that no one feels left behind.

Every time I take Coach Bill’s class, it’s an amazing experience from start to finish. He’s always organized and prepared, making sure we know exactly what to expect during the whiteboard brief and throughout the class. Bill brings incredible energy, and even in a larger class, he takes the time to connect with each of us individually. It’s clear how much he genuinely cares about every member. I love taking classes with Coach Bill!
