Very helpful with educating and correcting my form for better performance. Always helps me on deciding what and how to do metcons and scaling to perform better and progress in lifting and excersices. Since I joined I have noticed a huge change in how I feel everyday mentally and physically and mobility. Very helpful and motivating. The positive atmosphere at the gym and comradere. Been here for about 3 months and can't wait to see how I feel and change physically and mentally the next 3 months.
I took Richard’s weightlifting class this morning and had a great experience. The pace of the class and amount of personal attention was perfect. Also, I was super impressed that when I walked through the door, Richard was expecting me by name. I feel like that speaks to the level organization of the business as a whole and professionalism.
Dona is great! She’s always so supportive, taking the time to notice how everyone is doing during the workout and offering encouragement exactly when it’s needed. Her energy really makes the early mornings more enjoyable.

As always, Ashley provided a safe, welcoming, and encouraging class experience. The workout briefing was clear and demonstrations effective. I've been a member of Norman Strength for almost 5 years. Ashley was the one who suggested I join after the gym we were at closed unexpectedly. I'm glad she did and glad I did.
Nicole does a terrific job at explaining all of the movements. She’s attentive to everyone in the class so that everyone is doing the movements properly to avoid injury. She’s super encouraging. For myself, she always comes up with good alternative movements that fit my abilities.
Nicole was amazing! From the moment I walked in, she made me feel so welcomed and supported, which set the tone for the whole workout. I’ve been doing CrossFit for a while, so I’m used to different coaching styles, but she is easily now one of my favorite coaches that I’ve been in a class with. What stood out most was how detailed and helpful her instructions and demonstrations were - she broke down each movement clearly, making sure everyone understood the form and purpose before we started. Throughout the workout, I loved how supportive and encouraging she was, constantly checking in with individuals, offering modifications when needed, and celebrating small wins that kept the energy positive and motivating. Her presence made the workout feel challenging but approachable, and I left feeling accomplished and energized. Would 100% drop back in at Norman Strength and Conditioning when I’m in town going forward!

I participated in the open gym time. The space is fantastic and the staff has been very welcoming each time I’ve been in.
Always such a good class and Ashley will always tweak movements to improve and make me test my own ability.
Instructions were slightly unclear for how the workout was to go coming from a newbie, but the workout itself was good. The coaches were motivating and it was an overall good environment.

Taylor is FANTASTIC, I love when he coaches. You can tell he actually cares about each one of us as humans and he cares that we move properly and efficiently. I love his coaching cues where so many of them don't click with me, he pivoted and used a new one that I hadn't heard today referencing a flashlight and it was really helpful for me to activate my hamstrings. He's a great human and a fantastic coach!

His energy is contagious, and his knowledge of CrossFit methodology, technique, and programming is top-notch. What sets Rick apart is how he tailors workouts to every athlete’s level—whether you're brand new or an experienced CrossFitter. He pushes you to improve without ever sacrificing safety. His cues on form are always spot on, and he genuinely cares about everyone’s progress and well-being. Beyond his coaching skills, Rick creates a super welcoming and motivating atmosphere. You’ll work hard, sweat a lot, and probably laugh too. If you’re looking for a coach who knows his stuff, leads by example, and makes you want to show up every day—Coach Rick is your guy. Highly recommend!
