Derrick is the heart and soul of LYFT! He is so passionate and he loves what he does. I joined LYFT in November and his program has changed me. Derrick pushes and challenges all of the members every week. Today’s class was tough but Derrick and all the class members encourage one another to push through. I loved the class and look forward to taking many more!
Just took a HYROX training class and the energy was electric from start to finish. Derrick and all members were incredibly encouraging, and I felt motivated the entire class. This is exactly the kind of training environment I need, and I truly believe this class will help me succeed in my first HYROX. Can’t wait to come back!

Created a fun yet tough workout, and was really motivational and had good energy and helped with form.
The feedback on my diet and calorie needs was helpful since there is so much information out there. The body scan was insightful and a great baseline to work from.
Derrick always does an awesome job of motivating us while pushing us to improve our performance from the week prior. He always encourages us to move up in weight, increase our exertion, etc. while promoting proper form and safety. Can't wait for the next class!

Derrick and the Lyft community have been such a great add to my workout routine. He pays attention to detail, to posture and makes sure you are showing up for yourself. The community is uplifting and supportive. The gym is super clean (you would think it opened yesterday). I am so so happy with my physical results but most importantly with my mental health, we lift each other up, we push each other but most importantly we show up for one another.
Derrick develops individualized, creative, and challenging programs for us each month. I’ve been working out with him for a year and half and have never felt stronger. He’s attentive, encouraging and supportive all at once.
Derrick was attentive and paid close attention to my form which I really appreciate! I felt like I was getting the most out of the work I was doing with his support!
Training with Derrick has made such a difference! I feel stronger in a short amount of time and workouts are always challenging in a great way. The community aspect of small group training also keeps me super motivated! I actually look forward to going to the gym, which was not always the case in the past. Highly recommend LYFT Strength & Wellness :)

Derrick’s coaching was great. He gave us feedbacks and checked on us during the entire group session. The class was fun and challenging. The gym is clean and the environment is great. I feel motivated and committed to continuing working out at Lyft.
I really enjoy working out at LYFT. Derrick is a great coach. He has a lot of knowledge and creates great workouts each week. He takes the time to fully explain each move and provides personal attention to each person in the room. The facility is awesome too. Very clean with updated equipment. I highly recommend LYFT.

Great workout! Really fun and went by fast. Form was corrected multiple times which is great so I don’t get injured.

Each class is more intense and productive. Derrick is the trainer I've been looking for a long time to teach me the right movements for my body. With each class, he is more dedicated to teaching me that I can give more of myself. Every day is a bigger challenge to be able to attend his classes. Had a great session with Derrick today! He is very thorough and able to easily articulate the correct form to isolate the muscle groups that are being worked. I enjoyed when he pushed me to get in extra reps. 🙂
