Ethan was a great coach this morning! He really helped lift the energy in the room, which is always the challenge at 5am when most of us are still waking up. His motivation wasn’t just words - he moved through the class, offering encouragement with both his coaching cues and that extra hype that made me push harder. Ethan was also able to make a seemingly small tweak to my row technique, which helped my splits dramatically. This was definitely one of my favorite classes recently!

After seeing the workout I almost decided to skip the class. I’ve never done split jerks and I was feeling intimidated. Sooooo glad I went. Danielle has a way of teaching, coaching, encouraging and helping you believe in yourself. It was one of those moments when overcoming your doubts and even fears reveals something amazing. Those opportunities don’t happen that often as adults. I left that class with something I will cherish for a long time. Thank you Danielle.
Uncle Joel is one of my favorite coaches at Ironclad CrossFit. From the moment I walk in, I always feel very welcomed - like I truly belong - and I never feel out of my league compared to the rest of the class. Joel has this way of creating a comfortable space where you can focus on your workout without feeling intimidated. He always has a smile on his face, which makes the whole atmosphere more positive and inviting. What stands out most is his patience; he takes the time to guide you through each movement, gently correcting form and encouraging you to keep going even when it’s tough. Plus, he’s a pretty good dancer too, which adds a fun, lighthearted vibe to the sessions. Overall, working with Joel makes coming to Ironclad CrossFit something I look forward to every time.

This was my first CrossFit class and it was a blast! Joel was super encouraging while also teaching me the proper ways to do each exercise. Will definitely be back!
Joel always keeps me moving and encourages me to try something harder than I've done before, even if it's only in the warmup and I wouldn't be able to sustain it in the workout. He's always showing me that I'm capable of more things than I thought. My days that start with IronClad are my best days. My energy, mood, and overall health feel better after joining this gym than they have in a very long time.

Joel was excellent! This was my first CrossFit class ever and I was nervous- but he helped break down each exercise to a level where I was able to complete them, provided helpful feedback when I didn’t have it quite right, and encouraged me the entire time!
As I walked into my first CrossFit class at Ironclad CrossFit, I was immediately met by the coach and warmly welcomed. She took the time to ask about any injuries I might have, showing genuine care before we even began. Then, she clearly explained the workout ahead, breaking down each movement and checking in to see if I felt comfortable with all the aspects of the routine. Once we started, she continued to explain the exercises in detail and kept encouraging the entire class, creating an energized and friendly atmosphere. The class itself was great - everyone was supportive, and coach Danielle was especially attentive, helping me push beyond my usual limits. She noticed when my form needed adjustment and offered guidance on modifying the workout to make it more challenging, which really helped me grow. Before I left, she made sure I was signed up for my next class, showing how much they care about keeping you engaged and progressing.

I’ve travelled the world dropping into gyms and I can tell you this gym is one of the best! - you can tell there’s so much care put into every aspect of the gym: facility, workout programming, coaching, community, etc - gym is very clean and organized - the coaches actual coach and teach you to love better, and make everyone feel welcome

As soon as we walked in at 5 a.m., Ethan’s energy was fired up and ready to go. We love it! I can tell he is well informed on technique and form, and has different options for individuals for performing their level when it comes to working out. Ethan is extremely encouraging, positive, and supportive. The man knows what he’s doing :) That’s why my son and I are joining. Also, the other members of the gym were extremely welcoming and supportive, and that’s why we are deciding to become members.
Class was great today! Grant was intentional about small tweaks I needed to make in each movement. He was consistent in reminding me to keep my chest up and encouraging through out the workout.
Clear instructions, appropriate scaling while also encouraging increased levels of challenge, and lots of fun.

Recently joined as a full time member. Could not be happier with my decision. This box is rare experience. Tons of equipment, clean and bright. After coming as a drop in for many classes, I was impressed by how friendly and welcoming the members were to me and others who are new to this box. I am an older 70+ guy who has been doing CrossFit for many years. I am so impressed with the coaching here. The coaches are so good at going thru the basics of every movement to make sure everyone has safe, correct form and scaling options. They also make it fun! It’s a great place to start your fitness journey or improve your current fitness path. I’ve been to CrossFit gyms all over the country and I truly feel this is the best place I’ve visited. Now happy to call it home!!
Awesome class today at Ironclad CrossFit! Danielle is great at motivating everyone in the class to challenge themselves, no matter what their fitness or skill levels are, without sacrificing good form. She breaks down all of the movements to allow you to built up strength and practice technique to eventually master complex movements. I always get a great workout and accomplish more than I ever thought I was capable of.

Eddie did a great job coaching today! Even before class started, he took the time to work closely with me on scaling different movements, patiently explaining all the options and demonstrating proper form step-by-step. It felt reassuring to have that one-on-one attention upfront, especially as I was trying to get comfortable with some of the more challenging exercises. During the workout, Eddie regularly walked around the room, carefully watching everyone’s technique. He didn’t just glance over - he noticed subtle details in form and offered clear corrections that helped me avoid injury and get the most out of each movement. His practical suggestions, like adjusting foot placement or modifying the range of motion, made a noticeable difference in how I performed and felt throughout the session. He also checked in with me several times during class to make sure I was comfortable with the modifications and feeling good physically. That consistent communication made me feel supported without being singled out. His encouragement was genuine and motivating - never forced or over the top - which kept me pushing through the tough parts. On top of all that, the music was great and perfectly timed to keep the energy up. It gave the whole session a dynamic vibe that kept me moving and focused. Joel was fantastic. He watched me but was not in my face. Just the name “CrossFit” is intimidating but the class was fun and welcoming. Joel was “Johnny on the spot” with support and advice. So I was never left behind. The ladies legends were also warm and encouraging. I’m sold!
He was very accommodating and took the time to check in on me and make adjustments as needed. I didn’t feel intimidated or pressured. Rather, I felt a part of the group while also being able to focus on my own workout.
Angel was incredibly welcoming, enthusiastic, approachable, and energetic! Her class instructions were very clear and repetitive for us older folks lol. Her music selection was motivating and she supplied many modifications for each exercise. I thoroughly enjoyed my first class at ironclad and look forward to many more!!

This workout was tough with a lot of instruction. Joel did an amazing job as always walking through step by step to make sure we understand and perform the movements correctly. Also great with words of encouragement throughout the workout!
Warm up looked a little overwhelming at first on the screen, but you moved us through all the movements in a very organized fashion. Great verbal cues on timing of thruster. You did an awesome job working with a new member, and the look on her face when she put it all together was priceless. Good playlist, even if it wasn’t classic rock 😜

Ben is humble, down to earth, and really cares about us. Our safety is his #1 concern, and he is very vigilant to ensure that zero injuries occur in his classes. He’s a good person in and out of the gym, and it’s always a good day when he is the coach. No matter what you’re going through, he makes sure that the hour that you’re in the gym is the best hour of your day.

First, let me say that Angel is such a great coach for many reasons. The attention to detail on all the workouts she prepares for us is on point. She explains clearly what we are to do and shows us proper technique. Secondly, she is very encouraging on helping us reach our potential and all the while she’s friendly and engaging. As always, everything was explained well and exercises were modified for me as needed. Part of the program was moved inside due to weather. The class was well run.
Hunter was great, gave some great alternative for KB snatches since I was dealing with some elbow pain on one side.
Joel always brings his A game to coaching. Today Joel helped me to scale the workout so I could work around a shoulder injury. He offered suggestions and options to mimic the same muscle workout the rest of the class was doing. Joel is encouraging and always pushes me to do as much as I can. I always enjoy his classes!
Your coaching is great. It is always well thought out and precise. Directions are clear and moves demonstrated. Love how you keep your eyes on everyone to make sure they are doing exercises correctly.

The hospitality at this gym is second to none. I was instantly greeted by the owner and introduced to several coaches the moment I arrived. I was also very impressed with the cleanliness of the facility. During the workout, the coach kept an upbeat and friendly vibe and made corrections throughout. Where this gym exceeds expectations is Coach Eddie’s ability to remember details about me and showing actual interest. Playing Bruce in the workout was a HIGHLIGHT. I can’t wait to go back. A true five star gym experience.

Angel is an exceptional coach. When you’re in her class you can tell that she’s prepared ahead of time for each part of the class. She has all of the scaling options ready, knows how the equipment should be set up for the best flow, and has the timing for each part of the lesson written out. Angel does an excellent job of clearly explaining what is expected of the athletes in attendance. Whether it’s coaching us through a lift or pull-ups, Angel is knowledgeable and clear in her instruction. Angel’s demeanor during class is fun and encouraging. You don’t get through an Angel class without dancing or laughing with her. Angel also knows when I’m not pushing myself and staying within my comfort zone. I appreciate that she knows when I can go heavier and doesn’t let me short change myself. The CrossFit Fairy often visits when Angel is coaching. 😊 Keep up the good work, Angel!!
Coach Hunter is an amazing coach! Very knowledgeable in every aspect of CrossFit. He takes his time to explain every movement and will answer any questions you may have. He pushes you through every workout and motivates you to do your best!

It was a really well run class. I’ve seen coaches struggle to fill a class on a heavy day. Today was great. People were all warm before we got started and quite a few people shouted PR at the end. Ethan did a great job.
Hunter was extremely kind, and made sure to welcome me as soon as I stepped into the door. He had clear communication on what the expectations were for the workout. The only reason for the 4 (vs 5) star review is while guidance was given on proper rowing and plank form, I did not notice many technique corrections or suggestions were given before the workout, during warm up or the mini pre-workout. Overall I'd be happy to take a class with Hunter again!
My son and I had an awesome experience dropping-in today. We were welcomed warmly and treated as if we were members of the Ironclad Community. Joel is awesome coach. His overall flow was incredibly smooth, and kept the class engaged. The warmup was perfect and he was incredibly detailed in his breakdown and coaching of the movements of the day. He also made it a point to provide coaching cues/tips to everyone in the class. He thoughtfully explained the workout leading with the intended stimulus - which I love - and that allowed everyone to choose their own adventure to make it happen. He covered the entire class/coached every athlete during the workout - thoughtful providing coaching cues and encouragement. Awesome all around, 10/10!!!

He explained and demonstrated the movements very professionally, he observed and coached while we were preparing for the wod, he not only respected our physical limitations, but also suggested and demonstrated options to modify the wod to our capabilities!! The 4:15 group is tough, Angel kept them in control. It was a good workout. Angel should work on her 'cues' during the warmup. Like 'start position', ready', 'go'.

Angel is always very positive and encouraging and gets us to smile a lot! She keeps all the details humming such as location of all workout items , making sure we have them . She is wonderful and always happy to clarify moves for us newbies!

Phenomenal!! Ironclad made my first ever CrossFit experience wonderful! The entire staff was very welcoming, professional, knowledgeable, and encouraging, everything you’d want in a coaching staff! You couldn’t ask for a more welcoming atmosphere at a CrossFit gym! Being my first experience at a box, all the coaches were very in tune with me, asking about injuries, fitness level, and experience. They were very respectful towards my lack of real-live CrossFit experience, but very encouraging throughout the entire workout! If I could give Angel and her entire staff a 10/10, I would!

Top 5 reasons why Hunter is my favorite coach! 1). Zero hype - motivation comes from within. If you need to get motivation to do something from your coach you aren’t learning the most important skill - self discipline! 2). Quiet demeanor- Hunters “soft touch” makes a huge difference. He never raises his voice, he’s always under control. 3) Always encouraging. I have never seen Hunter display the slightest amount of negativity towards anyone, even when they deserved it. 4) Always welcoming- Hunter always says hello and goodbye and calls everyone by name. This speaks volumes about his commitment to his group! 5). Great sense of humor and never fake. It’s easy to spot a fake smile or fake enthusiasm. I think Hunter is genuinely interested is helping others. A very rare trait in today’s world!

Ben was amazing per usual. It’s always good to see him in the gym. To be quite honest sometimes seeing his name as the coach is the motivation I needed to attend a class that day. Just like all the other coaches I have taken a class with, Ben explains everything well along with demonstrates the way things should be done. Today he did some box step ups along side me while I felt like I was dying. It’s the little things that make a big difference. 10/10 would highly recommend Ben to a friend.

The class was great today . I always enjoy Daniel s classes , the subject matter can be repetitive sometimes but more importantly Daniel makes the topic at hand entertaining! Also on a more serious note if you are doing a particular movement with poor form it will be caught with Daniels eye . She is a good coach teaching good form and catches you when your body begins to tire with correction and energetic coaching support. Thank you for your good work and dedication!
Excellent communication. Really breaks down each progression during the demonstration so it is seamless when preforming the workout. Joel great about paying attention, making sure I execute the motions correctly ( even if he has to re-explain it 5 more times). I am grateful for the attentiveness and patience.
Angel was awesome today! We had a large class with it being bring a friend week, which she handled well using her very comforting but commanding leadership style. She took the time to either leverage another coach or herself to ensure all participants were getting enough oversight and encouragement that was required. For me personally, I really appreciated the attention to detail in explaining and then observing and correcting the athletes during the layering discussions. I personally learned the importance of the “active shoulder” during the deadlift which I think allowed me to lift heavy more confidently and with less injury risk. Only CON for today is that we didn’t have a Dad joke.
Angel was amazing! I really enjoyed my first class. I felt very comfortable, not to rushed. Very welcoming. I enjoyed how we spent time making sure my form was correct instead of just pushing with more weight. Will defiantly be back. Can’t wait
