Had an excellent full body workout that, for me, was well paced from start to finish. The session included a mix of strength training and dynamic movements that kept my heart rate steady without feeling rushed. The coach noticed when my form started to waver and offered quick adjustments that helped me push through each set safely. I felt great when I left the gym - energized but not exhausted, like I had really accomplished something meaningful. This balance is what makes Invictus Seattle stand out for me; the workouts challenge you but respect your limits in a way that leaves you wanting to come back.
Class with Alex today was exactly what I needed. She started off with asking us what we are all thankful for which sets a grateful tone. She is positive and encouraging but also points out incorrect form and challenges us to push ourselves. I always look forward to Alex coaching and I feel stronger and motivated after each class at Invictus.
Such helpful coaching for my first class! I have a way to go to get back in shape but the coach was super supportive and patient with me.
You need more times on days around holidays. With only two classes or three classes they are all very busy
Chris is very helpful with explaining the techniques that are being used in each days workout. He is also helpful at providing feedback to improve movements when I’m not performing them properly. His feedback is helpful and appreciated.
Taylor is an excellent coach who is always available for instruction and clarification. I am always pleased with the workouts she directs and her good sense of humor.
Justin always is engaged, observant, and delivers valuable coaching to improve performance, form and safety. The only downside (which is not related to Justin) is that the size of the 6am class is so large it can be challenging to find space to get an optimal workout where one can move and transition freely and quickly. While sharing and partnering can be nice at times, mostly I would prefer to stay focused on my own workout and goals.
Good at providing form corrections and alternative exercises when needed. Also helpful when he told us timing and how many minutes we had left.

How did Hunter do? oh he is always nice, these days he is way more comfortable than when he started, more social and paying more attention to students and me. Hunter rocks....
Chris is fantastic. Spread of machines is starting to take away rig space for a number of movements. Also, air vents look in need of cleaning as they all look almost totally blocked by dust and debris.
I want to know how Michelle can see so many things with every person in the class when there are over 20 of them!! Seriously impressive, that’s some of the sharpest coaching I’ve seen and in the midst of chaos.
Coach was great. Programming lately has been upper body heavy, we need more leg days!

Loved class! Definitely a challenge for me but I love the positive vibes :) Michelle was super helpful and kind when helping me with my form! I live out of town and would love if I could get something like a class pack for the times when I’m back in Kirkland!

I like Desmond but one opportunity for improvement would be thorough demonstrations of planned exercises and potential alternatives for folks with limitations. I think he sometimes assumes that we all know what the items on the board mean. Good guy overall and is always helpful when asked
Michelle is always encouraging and energetic, she makes the hard work we do in class fun! On top of it all she is extremely knowledgeable and able to taylor her coaching to the individual needs of each athlete.
It was great! My first time doing a Murph, and Desmond and everyone else there were really encouraging. A very positive energy.
Taylor is absolutely amazing! She’s incredibly supportive, from helping us pick the perfect music to checking in consistently and cheering us on through the toughest parts of class. Her energy is contagious, and she knows exactly how to push you while keeping the vibe positive. The stretching at the end was exactly what I needed, and I loved how she shared a bit about her own CrossFit journey , it made everything feel more personal and real. So friendly, so uplifting. Truly one of the best!

On February 19th, I attended Coach Desmond's P&F class at Invictus Seattle. The session included ring dips, which I tried for the first time, and Desmond coached me through it with great attention to detail. We also did DB bench press, long lunges, meter row, pull-ups (which I replaced with ring rows), and wall walks (which I modified to ball slams). Desmond's exceptional coaching skills, clear communication, and friendly demeanor made the class both effective and enjoyable. His supportive and motivational approach helped me push my limits. Thank you!

I like Derreck’s coaching style, especially for 6am. Straight to the point, quick but efficient warmup, gave us a lot of freedom and encouraged us all during the workout. I’m glad Derreck has become a coach at Invictus.

Coach Justin totally Rocks!!!! He’s instructional, checks for understanding, motivates athletes and he’s always entertaining. Regardless of athletic ability, he will find a way to engage and challenge you. It’s obvious he loves coaching and seeing people achieve their goals.
