Kim was fantastic as per usual. I am not an “athlete” don’t strive to be an athlete. I’m constantly injured and find basic tasks like putting shoes on to be difficult. Going to the gym often feels like- why bother if I can’t do anything? However, the second I get there, Kim makes it all worth while. She always finds a way to give me a great workout and more importantly for me- makes it fun! Every coach is fantastic as well :)
This is the best gym I’ve ever been a part of! The members are friendly, welcoming, and supportive. The coaches are talented, encouraging, and they take time to help each person in class.

I really enjoyed the workout at Invictus Fitness because Drew tailored it to my ability, which made me feel included and ultimately successful. He took the time to assess where I was physically and adjusted each exercise to match my current strength and stamina. That personalized approach not only kept me engaged but also made the whole session feel achievable and rewarding. I left feeling like I had genuinely accomplished something, not just gone through the motions, which motivates me to keep coming back.

Found Invictus a couple months ago and absolutely love it. I have been training for Hyrox and they have a 5am class that works perfect. Staff is great and knowledgeable and very helpful with working with you towards your goals! Look forward to putting in some work every morning!
I always enjoy class with Aush! Aush always has very mindful warmups and great suggestions for scaling or RX+. He keeps class moving and fun, even when herding the “cats”. I appreciate his subtle cues and encouragement especially during Oly sessions.

Fritz is always great at providing customizations during class and direction on how to approach the workout. I especially like that he tells us what our perceived effort should be during the workout so I can gauge my output. I’m always happy to see him on the schedule! :)

Nuno was extremely helpful without being overly involved. I told him that I was not very good at doing split jerks and he gave me a few rounds to warm up and then came over and watched and corrected me and gave me good pointers to improve. He was very vigilant during the whole class, making sure everyone was doing things as best they could. He is very lighthearted and ensure that everyone understands the goal of the workout and how to achieve that. the members of the gym were not just welcoming, but hospitable and really cared about the state that they work out in and the people go there. I just love it here!!
Kim is always great, today's kudos was when I was working on an accessory exercise and one adjustment she made changed from feeling in my back which is a no no to feeling in my butt which was the target. She is always there for encouragement and preventing injuries.

Class was great BUT I have two small complaints. 1. The fan by the front desk has been put away since last week. It was dangerously hot today. I have been getting lightheaded from the heat 2. Toddlers running around the class, swinging on the rings, etc. There are strollers too but it’s not as big of an issue if the parent is there with it. But kids running around is dangerous for them and the athletes. This didn’t happen today but it happens often

Great overall experience! So glad this was my first class. Fritz created a welcoming atmosphere. From greeting me when he was in the middle of a class to introducing me to the other person in our class. His attention to my form and effort to connect with me stood out. I felt encouraged without being pushed.
Everyone was super kind and friendly. I met 3 coaches within 10 minutes of walking in and all were extremely nice and seemed interested in me. Class was great (I knew it would be) but I also just felt really welcomed. I can be super shy in new situations but I didn't struggle with that because everyone was so welcoming. I loved it and wish I I could come every day.

Drew is an excellent coach to work with. During today’s class he was attentive and encouraging. He pointed out my improved ability to perform pull-ups and wall sits. This shows me that he’s continually taking mental notes of the athletes in his class.

Nuno is always correcting my postures and pushing me to do better! He’s helped me jump higher or do heavier weights sets, it always good to have someone push you and get you out of your comfort zone ☺️
I always visit in Vine whenever I’m in San Diego visiting my sister. The vibes there are high and the energy is so good. The workouts are always on point (just hard enough to make you wish you’d slept in ) and every coach is helpful and motivating. I’ll be back!
I would rate all coaches 5/5 easily. I've been to many crossfits over the past 10 years of working out and its hard to explain the difference - coaches here actually care, watch, and adjust your form. Learned more in the past 3 months than I have in the past 5 years

I always learned something from Sandi. She really pays attention as you perform a lift and gives you pointers that help you. She also had a great suggestion to focus on one thing each time so that a complicated lift can get better and better each time.

Kirsten is an awesome coach, she always brings great energy and strategies for each workout. I think it’s really cool that when she sees something in your form/technique that can be improved or changed, she asks questions like “does that feel okay?” or “is there a reason why you’re doing X instead of X?” She leads you to find the best solution for yourself instead of handing out general advice. Coach Sandi is very knowledgeable and had an answer to all my questions. I’m not entirely comfortable with some workouts, so she provided variations that made it easier for me.
Maddie brings great energy to the gym with her bright attitude and enthusiasm. She has an innate ability to meet you where you are, be present to you and your ability, even in a big group setting. She always takes time to help you improve and think about what you’re doing.
Is always happy to be at the gym and always makes everyone else feel good for being there too. I appreciate the kick in the pants every once in a while to go harder or heavier. An encouraging coach.

Aush led an intense class that left my legs burning. He does a good job of keeping the timing for each of the sets in the AMRAP
Fritz is a fantastic coach. I work with him a lot and there is a reason for that. What Fritz does particularly well is find a balance between constructive criticism and praise. He identifies when I master one skill and then progresses to the next. This is particularly good for me since the Olympic lifts are challenging and there are many, many things to master to get them right….and when I do get one right, it is extremely satisfying. Fritz also always has a “grand plan” in place. I never worry about why I am doing something (he usually tells me anyway)…I have trust and confidence that HE knows…and that is the important part.

Besides general encouragement, he often offers suggestions for how to improve (or correct, hah) technique, as well as providing options for substitute movements to accommodate injuries or other limitations. Super positive attitude!
Kirsten did an amazing job today, as always! She gave me a correction on my deadlift that completely changed the game for me. With just a small adjustment, the pressure and weight shifted from my back to my legs. I really appreciate her coaching!
