At my first session coach assessed my mobility and made sure I was aware of movements/modifications. I felt supported and well coached… while also not being singled out. Fantastic environment of other students. I’ll definitely be back. Looking forward to gaining my health back at Helix.

The trainers are truly inspiring and encouraging - they take the time to notice your form, offer adjustments to your movements, and check in regularly to make sure you’re comfortable with the pace and weights. The atmosphere they create motivates you to push yourself while feeling confident you’re doing it right. Helix Training has developed a great community within the space that instantly feels welcoming. The first time I visited was at a going-away party for one of the long-time trainers, and it was such a special experience. There was delicious Mexican food filling the room with rich aromas, and we were guided step-by-step to create amazing tie-dyed shirts, which added a fun, creative element to the gathering. I got a chance to chat with many members of the community during the party, and I was impressed by their deep gratitude and affection for this very unique gym. The sense of connection and support among everyone there stood out in a way I hadn’t expected. Overall, it has been fun getting involved with Helix Training - not just for the workouts but for the vibrant community and thoughtful guidance that make every visit something to look forward to.

Taylor was my coach today, my 1st time working out with her. She was encouraging and helped me several times with points on my form. Taylor modeled exercises when I asked for help and let me know several times when I was doing really well. I know it said Catherine E. At the beginning of this review. She has been stellar at making and modeling adjustments for exercises that need support like my left knee. She helps everyone and is kind, humorous and rally shows her caring for members and Helix.

Taylor does a great job presenting the exercises because she explains and demonstrates each exercise and she does it quickly and clearly. She also does a good job correcting form where needed.
Things I love about Helix: Small classes mean the coaches can give you individual attention to work around any injuries or limitations, and help you progress on your personal goals. Workouts are varied but follow a structured plan that builds strength. Combined with an emphasis on recording progress, I don’t just think I’m stronger, I know exactly how much stronger I am. Helix is a community. Coaches and classmates don’t just feel like people sharing a workout space - they are friends who notice your progress, celebrate your wins, and encourage you to challenge yourself.

Going to the gym is one of my favorite activities, not only for how I feel after but the wonderful community that attends. Keep up the great work everyone!
The classes are small, which makes a big difference because the coaches can really focus on each person. They take the time to watch your form closely and offer clear guidance on how to improve, whether it’s adjusting your posture or suggesting the right weight. The coaches at Helix Training are great at keeping the energy positive and motivating without pushing too hard, so you feel challenged but confident. I always leave feeling like I’ve had a solid workout that’s tailored to my needs instead of a generic routine. That personal attention makes working out here feel more effective and enjoyable compared to bigger gyms. It’s the kind of place where you know the coaches care about your progress.

Coach was fun and knowledgeable. Small class size is perfect. Equipment is always in great shape and clean. Clients are laid back regardless of their fitness level - I love that this place doesn’t have meat hour.
Taylor is attentive to each of us, correcting our form and demoing each exercise. She is upbeat and excited to see and help us. She really knows her stuff and is one of the best coaches I’ve had!

This is the best place to work out!! The coaches are all friendly, smart, fun people with great attitudes, and they mix up the workouts everyday, so it never gets boring (or easy😅). Just love it!
Kathy creates targeted and intense workouts for the over 60 class, keeping in mind the injuries we have and how to accommodate them. Her knowledge of physical therapy is invaluable in this regard.
