Every class is a new adventure and a challenge....I love it! Carolyn’s expertise and advice help make the WOD achievable while still challenging me! More recently, she has helped me to improve breathing techniques that have been a game changer in terms of my performance. She has worked with me to improve my grip and stance when working with the ‘beloved bar’ 😬 She’s simply the BEST !

4 months ago at the urging of coach Karah, I enrolled in a nutrition class with coach Angie. I must admit I was skeptical at first. I considered my diet pretty darn good. I eat fish several nights a week and tend to avoid carbs at dinner. But I had put on 10 pounds since I started using a CPAP machine several months before. I tried several times to lose that 10 pounds but in spite of my intermittent fasting, the weight would not come off. During the course you learn how your body reacts to different strategies. I weighed myself daily. Eventually we figured out I was not giving my body enough protein. So each day begins with a scoop of protein powder in my coffee. This starts my body’s metabolism to burn calories. My body no longer thinks I’m trying to starve it to death. Coach Angie pointed out my lunches were poor choices frequently. I then took my time to plan healthy lunches. The weight then started to come off. I eat plenty of food daily now. I am rarely hungry. I recommend this course highly. You will definitely learn a lot about your body, nutrition and food in general.

Sean always brings lots of enthusiasm and pizazz to the 6:00 class! He watched for correct form and appropriate weight choices while also suggesting small tweaks here and there. I lived to write this review so definitely two thumbs up!! ;)

Those hip openers in the warmup felt awesome. I have crazy tight hips and am always looking for ways to make that area more happy. My tight hips sometimes cause me knee or lower back pain and it’s a constant struggle. Thanks for something else to put in my stretching repertoire.

The first attending a gym and participating in a guided workout I was apprehensive. However, the environment was relaxed and energized. Matt was very welcoming and I think I needed that most. Nonetheless, he was awesome to put it lightly!! I’d admit I was a little scattered but he was able to keep me on track and made sure I got the best workout this morning. He’s a gem for sure.

Sean as usual did a great job, kept it light and fun but pushed the group when he needed to. Gave personal direction to each person as he watched their form and reps. Loved the workout…was definitely unique and it hurts but in a great way.

I love taking Sean’s classes. It’s not always easy shocking my body awake at 5:30am class, but I always feel warmed up for when the workouts start. He also often gives me tips to improve my form so I can do my best during the workouts. Have been a few times for a drop in class while we’re here on vacation. Everyone is super friendly. Workouts are great and instructors help everyone to modify. I’ve taken classes with Angie and Kara and the are both great coaches. Highly recommend!
