Today’s class was great. The team mentality really changes the game when you’re pushing through 150 wall balls while also running and doing box jumps. Everyone’s energy feeds off each other, making those tough moments feel more manageable. I’m relatively new to Great Lakes Fitness Co., but the way the group supports each other makes a huge difference. I no longer dread working out, even on the toughest days when I’m wiped out before I start. The coaches keep the pace right, and the encouragement from everyone keeps you moving forward, which makes the whole experience feel less like a grind and more like a shared challenge.
In the words of my fiancé, GLFC is more than just a gym. The coaches have really built a community there. I’ve never felt stronger, both physically and mentally since starting at GLFC!
I always feel welcomed and encouraged during classes. It's also great that everyone has a sense of humor to add to the fun!

Coming in for my first time today I felt a bit apprehensive. Everyone with different ages, body types and abilities welcomed and helped when I needed it. After a great workout, which I modified at times, everyone encouraged each other with fist bumps and good jobs! I drove hme felling energized and empowered!

The Saturday CrossFit class was awesome! The coach is incredibly inventive, coming up with different scenarios and partner workouts that keep things challenging. I really appreciate the creativity and energy they bring to every session.
Everybody at Great Lakes Fitness is so friendly and welcoming! From the moment you walk in, you feel comfortable and supported. It’s such a positive environment and I always leave feeling encouraged and motivated!
Many of the concepts are new to me and I was feeling very overwhelmed with changing to a new gym. The entire crew has been very accommodating. Personal help in walking through the exercising and providing videos to study before the class!
Just had my first class at Great Lakes Fitness and I’m honestly blown away. The vibe is super chill and welcoming—staff and members made me feel right at home from the second I walked in. Huge shoutout to Coach Bill for the awesome instruction, helpful tips, and just the right amount of encouragement to keep pushing. The workout was definitely challenging, but everything was totally scaleable, so I never felt out of place. And the energy in the room? Everyone cheering each other on made the whole experience even better. If you’re looking for a gym with great people, great coaching, and a real sense of community, check this place out. Can’t wait to go back!
As a CrossFit newbie, I was a little nervous for coaching, but Cal made me feel super comfortable and was super encouraging! The gym is super clean and the it has such a fun vibe full of people cheering you on!

Where do I even start. Lucas aka hulk hogan is a fantastic coach. He is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to lifting, CrossFit and body movement. He gives great advice on improving and is always encouraging to everyone in the class.

Lucas has a great positive attitude who seems to really enjoy coaching. He also seems non-judgy, patient and helpful with some of the flexibility limitations I have with some of the exercises.

Meghan had a huge group show up. She did a great job with managing the start times and the different movements. Everyone knew what they had to do and when to do it.
Today was my first class, and Lucas was incredibly helpful with getting me up to speed and showing scaling options for the workout. His assistance made me feel comfortable and like a part of the group even though it was my first time. Couldn’t have been any better from my end.

Great workout and to be honest never really been a big fan of CrossFit for the two months that I did do CrossFit. Although, when I went today I had a really good time and enjoyed the workout all the way through!

Coming into my first CrossFit class ever, I was pretty nervous. From the moment I walked in, Amber went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and ready. From introductions in the beginning of class, to answering my many questions, to form feedback, to her encouraging words and time checks—10/10 would recommend Amber’s classes and GLFC as a whole. It’s been an incredible experience and it’s only beginning!

What an amazing first class! His instructions were very clear, his support and guidance helped me push through as well as the team that was there tonight.
