I started taking Nicole’s Saturday class at Granite Forged CrossFit to mix up my workouts and really get challenged, and this class delivers on both fronts. I’ve noticed improvements in my strength, endurance, sleep and nutrition. Apparently it just takes showing up regularly and not living on processed foods. Kris is top-notch when it comes to guidance and encouragement. She’s always there with positive reinforcement just as I’m questioning my life decisions. I could not be happier now that I’ve found my people at GFF because nothing is more bonding than everyone dying a little bit inside for an hour but leaving saying “That wasn’t so bad. See ya tomorrow.”
Nicole was a warm and attentive instructor. She demonstrated each movement well and was very patient with all the students. If I was a full time resident I’d be inclined to join the gym because of her instruction.
Kris did a great job checking in, providing modifications to any moves, and supporting classmates throughout the session. It was a lot of fun!
It was my first class and totally kicked my butt! The environment was motivating and the support from the coach and others in the classes was what I needed to continue. Definitely what I need on a Saturday morning!

The classes are always great! From the warm up to the workout the structure gets your body ready for the activity! Amy is very helpful throughout the class especially making sure everyone has proper form and hyping up everyone!

I am unable to do deadlifts because of a lumbar surgery so today Kris helped me do strict presses on the rack for the first time. She made sure I was safe and had proper form.

Haylea was great! She was very supportive and attentive to everyone. She made me feel like it mattered to her that I succeeded in my goals and she was there to do what she could to make it happen.
Amy was incredibly helpful as an instructor. She is friendly, attentive, and engaging in class. I have been coming to GFF for a few months now and while I am improving, I still have some limitations. Amy was able to provide clear and useful instruction how to modify the class routine so I was able to gain the maximum benefit of the workout. I really enjoyed having her as an instructor and look forward to having class with her in the future.
I thought it was a great class with Kris! Given my limitations and knowing that I am starting from point zero with room for much improvement, I felt very supported not only by her instruction but with the other class participants. It felt very comfortable! The vibe and personalities of the other participants was great! Much less intimidating than I expected or have experienced in other gyms. I am feeling excited to explore the options and how Granite Forged can help me on my new fitness journey!

After 1 year of not working out, I met with Haylea to discuss class options and fitness goals. She recommended I try FIIT. I was a little nervous since I was so out of shape and still healing from past injuries, but I tried out my first class today and it was AMAZING! Everyone in class was so welcoming and helpful. I got a great workout and never once felt pressured. I am so excited for the next class!!

Granite Forged Fitness is a welcoming gym and, as a physical therapist, Kris is attentive to good form. She is great at modifying exercises for injuries and meets you where you are.
I’m about as far from a gym rat as could be, but Josh took his time and showed me what to do and best methods to do it. It kicked my butt and I actually enjoyed it! If only I didn’t forget my shoes there….my old guy memory got me again.
Amy was great. We are still learning all of the movements exercises and she is super helpful and encouraging.

This was a great class- very non intimidating and comfortable for a newcomer. Kris kept it fun, and was very attentive to each person, making sure that we were all doing the exercises correctly. All in all, a good workout with nice people, and a class I’ll definitely go back to.
I love this gym space. While I now go for open gym, but the people and place are really inviting and supportive.
Amy is the absolute best hands down. GFF is extremely welcoming to all levels and ages. The environment is not intimidating and they are will work with you to scale as needed.
