Day-in, day-out, it doesn’t get better than Lily. Showing up every morning can be a challenge at times, but knowing I’m going to learn something new makes it that much easier to show up. Whether it be working on the mechanics of my snatch, to convincing me to actually go lighter (to master my fundamentals), I know she’s always there. I’m newer to CrossFit, but have remained consistent for the last year. Since joining the 5:45 class, I can easily say I’m easily in the best share of my life: physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Joanne was great today, she was very welcoming to newcomers, checked in with everyone about how they were doing, provided nice warm up and stretches based on the needs she saw in the class (sore shoulders). I love how she broke down all the movements into smaller steps and walked us through proper posture and movements. She offered scaling options and made sure everyone was doing the movements correctly. She was very encouraging through the whole workout. I loved her class today!

Awesome! Larger class with lots of logistics. Class went smoothly, directions were clear, and the analogy of the fish bowl for the med ball cleans was a good one! Great community and supportive environment. My only observation was I wish the workout was longer. (But I get that the WOD was probably intentional because of bring a friend week.)

Lea is a great coach who wants her clients to succeed in the gym while having a good time. She takes what can be an uncomfortable experience in a new environment and turns it into a warm and welcoming place. She takes great care to review and correct your form. This seems to be a dying art with many of coaches and gyms in the Bay Area. Overall I’m totally loving Lea and the gym!

Lily broke down the movements, the warm up was long enough, enough time given to building to the deadlift. Lily gave great cues around the room. Nudged just about everyone to do a tiny bit “more”. She safely encouraged everyone. It was a great class.

Today's workout was 18.1. Coach Lily like always coached it based on the members in the class and fully understanding the need for modifications - she always provides good alternates to movement - which helps in strengthening the affected areas. - Mornings can be hard - weather / sleep/ tired bodies - Coach Lily is always there with a smile ! Her positivity changes your mood and helps gets us all into a groove - At the end of any workout. - you always walk away feeling good and confident !!!! Exhale Rocks ! & coaches are wonderful

Coach Lily is PHENOMENAL. I’m consistently blown away by how she’s able to prioritize safety, proper form and give individual feedback, while demonstrating exceptional logistics and coordination in order to create a seamless experience for us. Coach Lily’s classes are always great. She leads the class in mobility exercises that are relevant and effective for the strength & WOD portions of the class. My body often feels prepared and ready for the movements. I appreciate her coaching cues. She’s constantly circling the room, watching our movements and seems to remember each athlete’s challenge. She’s encouraging and realistic — knowing when to push or pull back. She makes an effort to keep the class on track and end on time, and is usually successful.

Coach Lily knows how to motivate the morning crew. She isn’t pushy but understands just the right moment to challenge you on certain movements/weights. I have seen improvement in my form and strength in the last few months. If you are an early riser, I recommend joining Coach Lily’s class.

Went thru pre-workout warm-ups on bike/rower pretty thoroughly to give us time to get warmed up; however, there wasn't enough time for her to explain and get us warmed up for the actual WOD. Overall, I think she's getting more confident and comfortable observing and communicating us in class

Lily offered some great tweaks to my form including to “zipper” more while dumbbell snatching and use more of a bent legged deadlift position while doing bent over rows. Lots of really positive encouragement too! She’s a delight.

Lea was great! She was noticeably a little nervous/flustered, but clearly wanted to motivate everyone while still give people space. I have a feeling that she just needs to do this a few more times to gain some confidence in holding the room’s attention and she’ll settle right in. I wasn’t there from the very beginning, so maybe she did this already, but it would be helpful to do the full motion all the way through a couple times in front of us, before breaking it down and explaining, and then again a couple times after while everyone joins her to cement the idea.
