Equis Fitness is a fantastic gym!! All the coaches are super nice and take an interest in each athlete no matter what fitness level they're at. Coach Jose is one of a kind because he really cares and goes above and beyond teaching every little detail of how to move and help his athletes achieve their goals in each of his classes. I really like how he gives us tips to get the most out of every workout, especially to get better at every movement. Also, the new programming is helping me to get stronger, more endurance and focus. I am already seeing a big change in my energy levels and body. It’s great!

Luis is encouraging and attentive. He’s an excellent coach who carefully watches everyone in the class, noticing when someone’s form starts to slip or when a weight needs adjusting. He checks in regularly, making sure I’m pushing myself just enough to improve without taking undue risks. His guidance makes each workout feel challenging but safe, and I always leave feeling like I’ve made real progress. I genuinely look forward to classes with Luis at Equis Fitness because his energy and focus create an environment where I feel motivated and supported every time.

It was an amazing first class at Equis Fitness! Jose and Glenn were both very encouraging and supportive of all the attendees - they made sure everyone felt seen and motivated from start to finish. They cultivated a great sense of community by engaging with each person personally. Jose and Glenn took the time to adjust exercises and weights based on each person’s ability and energy level. This made the class feel tough but totally doable, never overwhelming or discouraging. The class size was just right - not too crowded - so there was plenty of space to move freely, and the coaches could give focused attention to everyone. I left feeling energized and excited to come back. I signed up for more!
Luis always has high energy and even higher standards and expectations. Really appreciated the small adjustments to my deadlifts during the workout today. Keeps me locked in on my form.

Loved the intensity of the workout. It was whole body and paced well so that I felt challenged but not totally overwhelmed. As someone raised in the early 2000s and from GA, I loved the trap music! It felt like home and was upbeat and motivating. You cultivated a very supportive environment among the group and we coached each other on. The only suggestion I have is to carve out enough time at the end for a cool down stretch.

Aneska did an amazing job leading class today. Her energy was on point, her explanations were clear, and she created a really motivating atmosphere from start to finish. She was attentive to form, offered helpful cues and modifications, and made sure everyone felt supported and challenged at the same time. You can tell she truly cares about her athletes and takes pride in coaching. Fantastic class….looking forward to the next one she leads! 💪🔥
Luis knows each of us well and knows when to push us. He provides the right support for us to feel comfortable going Javier. We’re doing something we haven’t tried before. He focuses on technique so I feel like I’m doing things correctly to avoid injury, which is quite important to me so that I can continue exercising regularly and not be sidelined by injury.
Coach Glenn always shows up and pushes us without overdoing it. Makes sure we move right and keeps the energy up. I’ve gotten stronger and more consistent since joining. The coaching and the people here really make the gym.
Aneska is a great coach. She demonstrates form first and supports the newer athletes as they perform the movement. She also brings a spirit of fun to class.

Great! I would need to go to more classes since we only did back squat. But the feedback was very constructive and led me to finding what my limit was. I pushed to exactly where my limit was and got good coaching and good friendly vibes from the coach.

That focus made me feel confident I was doing the exercises correctly and safely. It was encouraging to have someone who noticed small details and took the time to help every person improve throughout the session. The atmosphere at Equis Fitness felt supportive without being overwhelming, and that detailed attention kept the class engaging from start to finish.
I had an awesome class with coach Luis. He is incredibly supportive, especially when it came to accommodations with my hurting wrist. He made sure every movement could be scaled to my needs while challenging me as well. The environment was positive, motivating.
Coach Luis always pushes you to give your best with a smile and keeping the environment fun. Looking back at when I started with him, I can see huge progresses and coach Luis has played a fundamental role in the process with his experience and support.

This was my first crossfit class ever. He was supportive, and explained the workouts well. Also modified workouts for my level. Overall enjoyed the class.
Glenn was a great instructor and took the time to correct my form and checking in regularly to make sure I wasn’t going to pass out lol. If he saw I was struggling with some moves, he provided modifications that made the workout manageable without losing intensity. The energy in the room was motivating, and the fellow group classmates were welcoming, making the whole experience feel supportive and inclusive. I would definitely recommend Equis Fitness and plan to be back because this kind of thoughtful coaching and friendly atmosphere makes getting back into shape feel possible and even enjoyable!
My first intro class the team was very warm and understanding of the fitness level I was at. Also, introduced me to a stretch that helped alleviate some hip pain I was feeling. Overall great experience.

Luis’s classes make me happy - sore
Feeling my lower back hurt is never easy. But today with coach Jose Vanderpool I was surprised when my back wasn’t hurting, in fact it got better. Coach Jose explained posture and good core muscles plays a good role not just when it comes as lifting but as a daily process to not get my back to hurt again. Thank you coach Jose. I’m looking forward to more sessions with you.
Glenn is an anomaly of grand proportions. He’s the fit nonchalant, slightly resting bitched face but approachable coach/owner who will have you crushing over his weird insanely ironic playlist that speaks to my 90’s baby soul. I have been a client of Equis Fitness for 1.5 years and have grown into a huge fan of their commitment to quality, authenticity, and it’s unique gym culture that is neither intimidating or pretentious. Equis fitness is an excellent gym that is for CrossFit newcomers and CrossFit veterans alike. Love these guys…

Glenn is a great coach! Funny personality that makes you feel comfortable coming to class every time. He is very flexible with the workouts. I’m a beginner and he always works with me to make the workouts work for me. He also challenges me when I complain of not wanting to do it. (I need that!) lol He kicked my ass today after a month and change of no working out but it feels good! Oh! And I love his reggaeton music playlist! Makes the workout even better! :)
The class was fantastic, I felt the work out in my whole body. I learned the technique for different exercises I always wanted to learn, and most importantly I had fun with them and the other students.

Jose was extremely attentive to my and other students' form and managed to point out quite a few things that I needed to improve. He really took the time to break down various complex compound movements and, for those of us who couldn't do it, helped us build up to them. A hard but fun class where I not only got some exercise in, but learned something!

I really liked the warmup and cool down in the class. I felt sufficiently warmed up and ready to workout. My heart rate was up and I had already broken a sweat before starting. Because of that I knew my muscles were loose and limber. The cool down was equally as great by having us target muscles that were fatigued and tight after the workout. Looking forward to coming back!

I’ve been working with Coach Vanderpool for a few months now, and the experience has been nothing short of incredible! He is knowledgeable, motivating, and truly passionate about helping clients reach their fitness goals. Today’s session on Olympic lifting was very informative and allowed me to improve my hang power clean.

luis is by far my favorite coach that i connected with from the beginning of starting my membership to now and any work out or class i have with him i find the motivation and the strive to do better so any work out is a great work out even if im not feeling the work out or an injury i can still work out with confidence and a sweat

For different reasons I have not been at the gym for a while, so when I arrived, Luis was very welcoming and encouraging. Luis guided us and explained very clear the kind of workout we were doing. He kept motivating all of us for an amazing work out. I enjoyed working with him today. He is very approachable and knows how to challenge me as well as those participating. I am glad he is part of the team.

For first time doing bench presses and introducing into Crossfit love it!! They make you feel welcome from the coach to even the members. The classes are not to big which is definitely better and the coach actually pays attention in what you are doing. Definitely will be coming.
