Always as challenging as you want it, easily scalable. Steady community that uplifts me to be a better athlete and person. This gym has improved my life. Alex is a great coach and amazing athlete, providing needed feedback and encouraging us to be the best version of ourselves. If you are in the neighborhood, stop on by!!
Coach Jason was very thoughtful with his coaching tonight on a technical lifting piece. The split jerk is a complex movement and he broke it down extremely well. I’ve been doing this for a few years now but I always learn something new each time he coaches. Thanks Dreamtown!
Dropped in for a class at Dreamtown CrossFit while on travel & I’m super glad I did!! It always takes a little courage to try somewhere new, especially when you don’t know what to expect, but the community and coaches here are great 😌 had a great workout too!
I am 2 days into Crossfit and joined for classes with Alex both days. I appreciate that Alex provided instruction in how to bench press, do barbell snatches, and other strength building techniques that are new to me. Alex also seemed to keep his eye out for me during class to make sure I was safe, understood the workout, and answered my questions. I am looking forward to learning more in the days and weeks to come.
I didn’t know what to expect and she was very welcoming and accommodated my showing up without any notice for my first class, which was cool. I will be back!
Great vibes and players’ respect fill the gym every time I’m here. Devon is an All-Star who really stands out by encouraging everyone and paying close attention to each person’s form and effort. He made sure I was challenged without feeling overwhelmed, adjusting the workouts to fit my pace while still pushing me forward. The energy in the room at Dreamtown CrossFit is contagious, and you can tell the community genuinely supports each other. It’s the kind of place where you feel motivated to keep coming back and improving.
Not only did Alex give clear, constructive tips to help with my form and technique, but he also offered warm encouragement throughout the session. He patiently helped me work through a movement I had been stuck on, and when I actually got it, he was genuinely excited about my success. His enthusiasm made the accomplishment feel really fun and rewarding. That kind of energy made the whole workout at Dreamtown CrossFit feel more personal and motivating. I look forward to working with Alex again.
This was my first time trying CrossFit and it did not disappoint. My coach Alex was very welcoming and accommodating. I was able to get a kickass work out in and learned proper technique in the process. Would definitly recommend taking one of his classes.

Coach Devon is incredible. I have a minor shoulder issue and she always gives me smart alternatives instantly without making me feel limited. She keeps the stimulus the same and keeps me safe. She genuinely cares about longevity and progress. So grateful for her.
Brand new to CrossFit, and Asa was really helpful throughout the entire session. He took the time to carefully explain each circuit, breaking down the movements and highlighting proper form so I felt confident doing them. Asa also checked in frequently.

Alex was great! I almost walked out when I saw the workout was Snatches, but he worked us through a slow progression, allowing me to build up weight safely. I felt so much more confident in my snatches when I finished the workout. Thank you!

I love when Alex coaches. He’s a master of tough love, pushing me to challenge myself with subtle yet effective technique corrections (hello snatch) and a whole lot of laughing and smiles in between. The perfect blend of get your shit together and do you need a hug type of coach. 💥

As always, Jason is the model of consistency in his high quality coaching. He takes the time to break down movements and concept (e.g. explaining drag factor on the Concept 2 rower). Even though many of us have heard them before, he keeps his presentations clear and thoughtful which is great for new members and reinforcement for seasoned ones. I always learn something new!
Devon was great. Ran a great class. Class was full of welcoming, friendly people. Many people took the time to chat and introduce themselves and made me feel welcome. Bonus—class was a partner WOD and my partner was awesome!
These old bones rarely show up to class 100% fit and ready. Alex is always ready with great tips on technique and modification to exercises to make the workout beneficial if not speed recovery.
Alex is super knowledgeable about every movement. He has a knack for explaining the how and why and my personal favorite: how not to. Alex is friendly and approachable which makes it easy to ask questions. His expertise, professionalism, and energy create a supportive and fun environment that makes you actually want to get up at 6am and throw down! Jason was very welcoming to us individually and made sure to make us feel welcomed by introducing us to the class, as well. He went over the workout to make sure we were comfortable with the WOD and the overall experience was great. Loved doing a drop in here and would love to come back if we’re in the area!
Jason did an outstanding job coaching the 12:00 class today. He welcomed my wife and I and went over the workout and the movements prior to class starting. We will definitely be coming back to do another drop in next time we are in town

Great session. Alex gives clear, achievable feedback, and I could feel my squat snatch getting easier as I followed his instruction. I really appreciate that Alex tries to give me at least one personalized thing to work on each session. Always look forward to it!
Great first class! Alex did an amazing job answering my questions, helped me scale the movements so I was able to participate, and assisted in setting an achievable pace to make sure I didn’t over do it!

Jason’s coaching is always spot on and quite useful! I was hesitant about doing CrossFit as I was worried I was gonna hurt myself. Jason (and the other coaches too) is great about meeting me where I am, offering modifications and technique tips to keep me safe, healthy, and progressing in my CrossFit journey. 👍🏻👍🏻

Absolutely loved my experience with Jason. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and his instructions were incredibly clear and he truly cares about the correct technique, progress and safety. The box is organized and clean, creating a great environment to train in. I can’t wait for tomorrow’s class.

Alex is an amazing trainer—funny, motivating, and always pushing me to do my best in every class. He makes me feel seen and supported, always greeting me with a smile and encouraging me throughout the workout. He’s incredibly knowledgeable, and even when I think he’s not watching, he’s quick to correct my form. Truly a great coach!

Versus providing a one day review of Alex’s coaching skills, I believe it’s more appropriate to evaluate his observed coaching skills over the past few years. In a nutshell, Alex cares about each athlete’s progress, attitude and motivation as soon as they walk into the gym. In his classes, one can expect Alex to provide teaching moments in terms of technique and modifications of movements that enhance athlete performance. No one is overlooked! Finally, each day he’ll set expectations that push you to be the best you can be. If you meet those expectations, expect Alex to set the bar higher. He’s a bad ass coach. I’m enjoying this journey under his mentoring
After 15+ years of doing CrossFit, I’m still learning a ton from Jason and the coaches at Dreamtown. Alex was great! A lot of times for me, anxiety can be a huge physical limiter in performing up to my athletic capacity, and Alex is always at the ready with quick, subtle suggestions on modifications that push me even when my brain has a "hell no" moment without ever making me feel called out.
Straw is engaging, makes me smile whenever I get to the gym, and quite patient when I ask one million questions. Best coach out there!! Jason too ;)
