Coach Graham is a classic morning staple at CrossFit Vic city. While I'm acutely aware that I'm very accustomed to his coaching style after years of patronage, I must admit that he is my favourite coach, not only because of his easy-going personality but in the way that he sets class up very clearly and with lots of scaling options for everyone's individual needs. His attention to detail doesn't falter during class either as everyone either gets an encouraging prompt or a slight adjustment to ensure proper movements and efficiency. It's easy to take a good thing for granted, but I'm very grateful to have (and continue to have) Graham as my coach! It's clear he knows what he's doing and he makes it look easy =)

It’s was great. No complaints. As an introvert, I struggle in social settings but the coach was supportive, encouraging and gave me some good advice. Some of the guys in my class chatted with me also so I was able to feel pretty comfortable right away. I feel like the exercise were pretty close to what I was expecting, although I will have to work on my technique before I can get serious.
I had my first class here with Tia and had a great time. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming and the class was fun and challenging. I would definitely go back!
Coaches are fantastic and really take the time to explain each movement clearly, making sure you understand the proper form before starting. They walk around during the workout, noticing when someone needs a little extra guidance or encouragement and always offer helpful tips on technique. Their constant encouragement keeps the energy high and motivates you to push through even when it gets tough. I felt supported and confident throughout the session because they never let anyone fall behind or feel lost. This level of attention and positivity makes a big difference compared to other gyms I’ve tried. It’s clear at CrossFit Vic City they care about helping everyone improve safely and enjoy the process.

Graham is very good at watching everybody in the class and assisting the new people as well as providing tips to the competitive level athletes. He has given me countless suggestions on improving my form over the years. He’s a great coach!

I really enjoyed Tuesday’s session at CrossFit Vic City. Lucas is a great coach who pays close attention to each person’s form and makes sure you’re doing the exercises safely and effectively. During the workout, he guided us through a mix of strength and cardio moves, offering helpful tips and encouragement along the way. I felt challenged but supported, and left the session feeling stronger and more confident in my abilities. The energy in the gym that day was motivating, and having a coach like Lucas who genuinely cares made all the difference. It’s clear why CrossFit Vic City stands out as a place where you not only work hard but also grow.
Crossfit is not just for young people. The crossfit coaches and programmes at CrossFit Vic City can be done by a person of any age. Tia Black at Vic City is very supportive and emphasizes poper scaling and technique. I honestly believe that Crossfit is why I can still ride my mountain bike at 66 years old. I also really enjoy the intensity and challenge of Crossfit. I’m sure I would not work as hard on my own. Thanks Tia

Much appreciated the mobility session as it is something I consistently struggle with. Tia’s passion for it came through in the way she carefully guided us through each stretch and movement, explaining the purpose behind them and encouraging us to listen to our bodies. The session wasn’t just about going through the motions - it felt thoughtful and tailored, with Tia adjusting positions to help improve flexibility where I needed it most. Especially liked the idea of potentially having monthly mobility sessions, which would be a great way to build consistency and see real progress over time.

Tia is a terrific CrossFit coach! I feel very supported in her classes - receiving help with properly modifying where necessary and with pushing myself where I am able to do so. She’s also very personable and fun to be around. I look forward to her classes each week!

Graham always says hello and asks how I am when I walk in the door. He provides tips, corrects posture and movements in a kind way. Every class I hear him walk by and say an encouraging word- good job Dani ect. I like his music. I feel good leaving his class and look forward to them.
Connor is a fantastic coach. He made me feel very welcome. (Dropped in while in Victoria.) Very organized warm up as well. It was my second time dropping in at Vic City. A+ community. I’ll definitely be back.

I might have missed it as we were late but love the question of the day and intros that we usually do at the start of class - great way to build community!

Tia is a fantastic coach. She breaks things down to make sure we understand and do things the right way. Recently she gave some great tips for doing toes to bar which were helpful for those just starting out and for people like me who have been doing them for a while to help be more efficient/tire less easily

Lucas is the best! Approachable and always making an effort to walk to every members to check in. This week I’m back to the gym after giving birth couple months ago and there was TTB on the WOD and he made sure I scaled it based on what my body is comfortable doing 4 months post C-section.

First day back after a 2 month pause because of illness. Tia was her normal awesome self, providing instruction, individual coaching on technique, and making everyone feel welcome regardless of ability. Honestly, I was a little apprehensive jumping back into it, but not anymore.
I love classes with Tia, her adjustments are always super helpful and she’s always got such a positive attitude. I always leave feeling better than I came!

Hi, I didn’t see Conner in the drop-down - he was the coach today. Very good session. Appreciated the coaching on the squat sequence. Definitely challenged myself on the deadlifts.
