Always a great class with Coach/owner Mike Dudevoir at CrossFit The Swamp. He takes his time to clearly explain each part of the workout, breaking down the movements & goals so everyone knows what to aim for. He takes us through stretching and warm-up before we begin & observes our form, adjusting weights to match our current ability; offering modifications if needed. During the workout, Mike gives us the push we all need - to challenge ourselves and get through the workout. The energy he brings makes the whole class feel focused & motivated. CrossFit The Swamp is a special place, with special people; I feel lucky to be part of this community.

Great coaching and correction at CrossFit The Swamp truly stand out. The coaches pay close attention to every movement, adjusting form and technique to help prevent injury and maximize results. During workouts, they guide you through a variety of functional exercises like squats, deadlifts, and kettlebell swings, always making sure you’re doing them safely and effectively. I love showing up with a great group here because the energy is motivating and everyone encourages each other to push a little harder. The combination of skilled coaching and the supportive community makes each session both challenging and enjoyable. It’s a place where you feel seen and supported, which keeps me coming back.
Elysia always demos everything really well and keeps a high level of energy in the gym- even for those workouts that are really tough!
As my first workout, Paddy did a great job of demonstrating and coaching form while completing the workout. Paddy was also very supportive of pushing yourself but also supported knowing your limits.

Today was a great introduction to Cross Fit! Jimmy did a fantastic job introducing me to the curriculum, explaining the technique, and showing me how to make modifications for my skill level. The class was challenging, but it was a welcoming atmosphere. At the end, people came up to me and gave me a fist bump telling me I did well! People are so kind and encouraging here-- it made for a great start to my day!

Jimmy was excellent. I have bad knees and he showed me the scaled versions to the exercises, which helped immensely. He also kept an eye on me. He made me feel very comfortable. Again excellent coach and excellent workout 💪 👌 👏 👍 😀

Elysia was fantastic, as always. She does a great job breaking down the movements and workouts. While she gives helpful suggestions for weights and pace strategies, she’s supportive and encouraging of the plan that each athlete chooses. She is very attentive during the workout and does a great job of pushing us to put in the work. I always enjoy class with her.
I will probably make a lot of people mad at me by saying this…many old coaches maybe. Paddy is without question the best coach I’ve had at anything, and I’ve done sports my whole life including college football. Paddy brings a strong knowledge base, sound technique/ fundamentals, strategy on attacking the workouts, and what we should be getting out of each WOD. Most importantly, Paddy is extremely engaging making it fun to attend his class…except when you are trying not to die 🫣. Recently I had Paddy support me with my nutrition and lost 20lbs in a month and I feel awesome. I would recommend the nutrition support to anyone wanting to lean out. 5 stars all the way

As always Paddy offered sound advice and coaching on the movements. He also provides very thought out guidance on scaling options to account for any injuries or pain issues. His scaling options always seem to hit the mark for the point of the workout. In all the places I’ve attended CF over the years I’d place Paddy in the top 2 or 3 coaches I’ve interacted with.

Coach Jimmy was great. He took the time to show me how to do all the exercises and modified the circuit for me because of my ACL surgery rehab. The workout was hard, but didn’t bother my knee.
