The gym is clean and spacious, with plenty of room to move freely and equipment that’s well-maintained. But what really stands out is the people. Everyone is so friendly, welcoming and supportive.

Coach Kara was very attentive and welcoming throughout the entire class. She made a point to greet everyone personally as we arrived, which immediately set a friendly tone. During the workout, she carefully observed each person’s form, offering clear guidance on how to adjust movements to avoid strain and get the most out of each exercise. The class at CrossFit SCV was truly beginner friendly - Kara broke down each step patiently, demonstrating exercises slowly before we tried them. Because of her approach, I felt very comfortable even though I was new to CrossFit. The pace was encouraging without feeling rushed, and her positive energy made it easy to stay motivated.

Anytime I’ve asked Coach Nick to show me how to do a particular movement he explains it in a way that clicks for me. He taught me how to climb and rope and do bar muscle-ups. He holds everyone accountable in a positive way and I enjoy taking the classes he coaches.
I thought your coaching was very good. You made sure we all knew what the workout was and how to scale it if needed. You were also walking around during the workout, checking to make sure we were all using the proper technique and scaled properly so everyone could complete the work out and not get any injuries.

It was so great to drop in at CrossFit SCV today! The class was full and there were lots of components to the workout. But Yvonne managed it beautifully, demonstrating proper form and giving us active feedback throughout. We all felt guided and motivated! My husband and I really appreciated the warm welcome and tour. And the enthusiastic interactions with the regular members highlighted the great community of this box. Awesome experience!
Alex is a great coach! He does such a great job coaching and is always giving great pointers and encouragement to improve your technique. Not only does he help every athlete, but he also goes the extra mile by helping parents by lending out a hand with little kids. I really appreciated Alex taking time to explain the new skills needed for the workout today. He came by several times to make sure my form was correct on the bar and helped me modify the workout for my current level. Alex is a great coach with a fun personality. He is always attentive and gives me good points on technique and challenges me.
Our Coach pays attention to all the athletes in class m, corrects our form as needed and provides the appropriate levels of the exercises to each of us. Today, he easily spotted that my injury was bothering me during the class so he easily gave me a modification for a specific exercise. He also gives enough encouragement when you are doing well and if you need a little boost.
Yvonne takes the time to watch closely and make sure I can do the exercises safely and correctly. She carefully corrects my form, pointing out small adjustments that help me use my energy more efficiently and effectively throughout the workout. It’s clear she pays attention to every detail, from how I position my body to the pace I’m working at. She’s super approachable and friendly, which makes it easy to ask questions or let her know if something feels off. That combination of her expertise and warm attitude creates an encouraging atmosphere at CrossFit SCV that keeps me motivated every time I’m here.

Ryan fucking kills it!!! He is constantly making sure we are moving correctly to avoid injuries. I have a few, wrists and knees he gives me options to get me to the finish line safe and dead on the floor because I could finish the class everytime!

From the moment I walked in, there’s always someone cheering you on, encouraging me to push harder, and patiently helping me with movements I wasn’t familiar with. The atmosphere feels supportive without being overwhelming, and it’s clear everyone genuinely wants to see you improve. Alex keeps class fun by bringing energy that makes even the toughest sessions enjoyable. He knows exactly when to push me farther than I ever would on my own - especially on movements that used to intimidate me (hello gymnastics 🫣). Today's workout with Alex was like all his workouts... Fun, challenging and exhausting in a good way. Since I take the masters class, correct form is important to him and for me. I don't want to get injured. He is always positive and encouraging.

I am new to the workouts I did today, so Enrique really helped me by carefully focusing on my form. Coach Alex has been a great coach and so helpful in the rehab of my shoulder injury. He is always taking extra care to scale the work outs specifically for me to make sure I am continually building strength while healing. I joined CrossFit Santa Clarita last week and while I've only gone three times, they have all been under the coaching of Alex. He is wonderful and attentive and today he surprised me when he brought me a pre-made list of my scaled exercises! I didn't even have to ask him what to do today! Curtis, Alex and all who have been so helpful seem to be the "real thing"! - they care and don't leave me flopping in the wind looking like a deer in headlights. This group is what I've been looking for! They've been kicking my butt every time so far but the kind people and the sort of care that Curtis and Alex have for the group members will keep me coming back for sure!
Nick is always positive and hands downs a great coach. I really like that he’s always giving great advice for your technique even during your workout. It reassures me that I can always better myself. 5 stars for me!

Today as in every day coach in superior at reminding to understand what we are capable of in each and every workout. He connects with the members in a unique way that you always feel like he is coaching you individually. I think the world of him. In coaching some learn and become good coaches. I was a bit apprehensive to step back into the gym. Last time i was there most of the men were sizing me up, clearly due to my alpha nature. Like a pack of lions they were plotting to usurp me as their leader. Coach Yvonne welcomed me back though and signaled to everyone in the room that this was a moment to be celebrated, and i saw the members go from apprehensive to curious. I started my workout with a simple ladder movement. It was obvious to me that none of them had seen such a wonder before. It was like watching a refrigerator barely tied down in the back of a truck driving through the canyon at 90 miles an hour - every turn, every corner no one knew if it would fall off the side of the mountain. But as i held on for dear life, their curiosity turned to amazement and amazement turned to respect. And like the alpha who leaves his pack to find himself, i have found myself returning to the great halls of CrossFit scv reborn once again.

Kara has been awesome as a coach. I’ve gotten so many firsts with her in class which has been something I never thought I would be able to do. Handstand pushups, learning how to do jumping muscle ups and slowly rope climbs. She always has an awesome attitude during class and is so excited to be there which makes all the difference coming into the gym even on days where I’m tired. Thank you coach Kara!

Yvonne is a great coach!! Will always accommodate my workouts since I struggle with some of the movements. She’ll do a work around so that I’m still getting the full workout.
Excellent instruction, as usual. Yvonne worked with me on my front squat arm placement because I’ve a torn rotator cuff, so the front rack position can be painful. Yvonne coached me through a different arm placement that wasn’t painful, yet still effective.

Great as always! She helped me alter the workout due to my shoulder injury, and it was still a burner!
It was a great workout today but complicated with a lot of moving pieces, and Kara did a great job keeping the energy up while explaining everything and modifying it when appropriate for different members. She also was a great encourager during the workout and made sure to remind us that we are there for the community so we stay until everyone is done. And as always, we left on a high note.
