I can’t describe in words how much I love Matt’s classes. He’s always watching us closely - not in a creepy way 😂- but really paying attention to how each of us moves. He gives such good personalised feedback, pointing out exactly how I can fix my posture or adjust a movement to make it more effective and safer. It’s clear he knows what he’s doing and cares about each person improving. Matt is super chill and so fun, which makes the whole class feel relaxed but energised at the same time. The way he explains things and encourages us keeps the atmosphere light, but I still leave feeling like I’ve pushed myself in the best way possible. That’s just one of the big reasons I love Crossfit Project Bayside Moorabbin. The community vibe combined with coaches like Matt makes every session something I look forward to.
I joined CrossFit for the first time today, and Jordi was amazing! She is very fit, professional, and really motivating. Even though it was my first time, she explained everything clearly and encouraged me to believe I could do it, even the clean and jerk! Her energy made the class fun and inspiring. I felt supported the whole time. Thank you, Jordi, for making my first CrossFit experience such a great one.

As a beginner, I was nervous about starting at a Crossfit gym but from my first session the supportive and skilled trainers have made me really enjoy working out here. The variety in the WOD’s and the focus on technique has been great for me learning how to develop my fitness. I definitely would recommend checking out Sydney Crossfit – you won’t want to leave.”

I’d love participating in Matt’s classes, Matt is very present when he coaches. Always making sure I have the right exercises whether it be scaled for my level or tailored to that dodgy shoulder. Today I got my first double under!!! Thanks Matt for your tips and tricks helping me progress

Nick is an annoying good coach. He doesn’t let me hide in the corner and take it easy. He knows what I’m capable of and pushes me to reach it! He’s always got a small improvement that I can make to improve my lifts and it gets the results! I always enjoy the sessions and leave the class feeling like I’ve improved each time.
Nick is such a positive, kind and fun energy in the gym. He is always making members feel welcome, and making an effort to chat to everyone in the gym. Nick is a great coach, he knows his stuff and it’s very clear he loves the job. I love coming to Nick’s classes as he’s always a great motivator and makes even tough wods enjoyable with his jokes, energy and caring nature.
Really enjoyed the session with Jordi. The workout was well-structured—tough enough to feel like a proper challenge, but still focused on technique and keeping things safe. Good energy and clear instructions throughout. Solid coaching all around.

Throughout the workout, Nick reinforced crucial technical tips for the movements that were being conducted. My tendencies are to lose a bit of form as the workout progresses late, so the awareness of technique which Nick reminded me of ensured that I completed the workout safely and optimaly.

Jordi is a vibe! She makes the class fun and challenging. She keeps you honest to your abilities and also ensures that your technique is correct.
Even on one leg Nick managed to run the class seamlessly. He has very clear directions, good motivation and clever technical advice.

I have completed 2 trial sessions with Aaron at CFPB and I have enjoyed it so far. He’s always keeping an eye on form, and takes the time to adjust movements to make them beginner-friendly, which I really appreciate. You can tell he genuinely wants you to improve and feel comfortable. Planning to sign up for a membership when the trial is over.

Dylan is a great coach and I always get so much value out of his gymnastics class. He has really helpful cues and lots of different drills to work through. Helped me make massive progress in getting closer to butterfly pull-ups tonight!!!

I was welcomed back after a 6 week break due to travel. Aimee adjusted the training to suit my skill level. Her dog's snorts, the tough (but do-able) program and the positive vibes make you want to come back for more!
Today was a hard one to get to the gym, by 6:30 I was absolutely wrecked but I got into class and within minutes I was laughing and joking and had completely forgotten about the days fatigue. Aimee brings so much energy to her classes, her demoing is impeccable, and I feel like I always learn some really useful nuggets of information when she’s coaching that helps my lifting or getting through the workout. Thank you Aimee, always love your classes!!

Had a first try at crossfit today with Amelia’s class and thought it was great! A challenging workout was offered for a variety of levels and the coach provided good support, both in terms of encouragement and on how to improve upon my form, among other things.

Aimee is great as always! She keeps her brief short and simple alongside with a goal, which makes it easier to understand and what to focus during the class. As each movement has lots of different areas to improve with a clear focus you work on one at the a time, gives you opportunity to improve nice and solid over the time. In each section of the class, either skill or metcon, while overseeing the class always she shares tips or corrections individually (tailored to you) rather than generic comments to whole class that I find very useful. Thanks Aimee!!!
