Emily and Jentry are awesome! They have both made me feel comfortable and accepted. This is the first gym where I feel comfortable and it is mostly because of these women. The entire atmosphere of the gym is inclusive to helping everyone become a healthier version of themselves. 😊
Super friendly and welcoming! Was adequately attentive and directive without being overbearing and allowing space to work. Was very calculated in suggestions to scale back without making you feel embarrassed or discouraged! Also, didn't let you sell short on rounds and gave you the push to stay moving and working!

What’s one positive change you’ve noticed since joining CrossFit Northern Exposure? I am grateful for Bill’s watchful eye as I tiptoe back into CrossFit after a few year hiatus. I have a list of injuries I need to watch. Hoping this Gym is a good fit for me.

Emily was an amazing coach! I have only done CrossFit a handful of times, and the lift was a movement that was newer to me. Emily kept an eye on how I was doing while coaching the class and gave me the appropriate modifications so I could get a great workout and stay safe!

Jentry is great. She explained all the movements with scaling options. She displayed knowledge in the movements and keeping the class flowing.
I appreciated the corrections during the exercise and encouragement to push through. She’s energetic and enthusiastic for the “fabulous five thirty” am class coupled with expertise in the movements with guided steps and solid warm up procedures.

I’ve never enjoyed going to the gym this much! Instructors never make me feel bad for not knowing how to do a movement; everyone is so supportive and encouraging. It’s only been about 6 weeks and I’m feeling stronger!
Emily is great! I’m newly postpartum, she guided me on how to adjust the workout to my current goals and where my body is at. She was very thorough on every movement and gave instruction throughout the entire class.

Dropped into the 5:30 AM class at CrossFit Northern Exposure and had an awesome experience. The whole class was super welcoming, and Jentry brought incredible energy that early in the morning—kept the positivity flowing from start to finish. Her coaching was supportive and spot-on, helping me and others when needed. Great atmosphere, great coach!
Dropped in on vacation, had an amazing time! Everyone was very welcoming and friendly. Great work out that left me feeling great and sore the next day! Bonus, as I ran I was looking at mountain, just beautiful.

Jentry was upbeat and ready to go for doing a 5:30a class which isn’t always 1 to 1. Great first interaction, made me feel welcome as well as a quick tour in where things were to be successful. During the workout I feel like this is where the coach side comes out. She was motivating us the entire way, helping us with knowing the time for the transition. I wasn’t being successful at the weight I was using and she jumped in to help. Would 100% recommend her as a coach.
Very welcoming. She gave a good detail explanation of exercises and helped me with names of movements I wasn’t aware of. She wasn’t intrusive while the workout became intense but was still motivating from the sideline. My first time to the facility and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. Definitely coming back.
Bill was great and super friendly and welcoming. He corrected me on my deadlift and made sure the weight I was using was appropriate. I really liked that after the class he asked what day and time I would be back. Nice touch on accountability. It worked. I’ll be back on Thursday. ;)

Bill is an awesome coach! He is very encouraging and a great sense of humor. I like that he checks in with each individual athlete and asks how we’re doing and if there are any movements that we need to scale or modify.

Emily was great. I have not exercised in many years. I was shocked I could not do a sit up. Emily came up with a modification that worked great. It’s easy to get frustrated because of shoulder, knee, and foot pain. But she keeps me motivated!!
Lee really helped clean up my technique. He gave me some Points of performance that helped with my squat cleans and rowing. He was attentive to all the students and ran a very good class.
First time being coached by Emily, she’s a great coach, it’s clear right away she’s experienced. She’s personable and makes it easy to listen to her, her time management is great when getting through class. She taught me better technique on a couple movements. Im looking forward to being coached by her again. I don’t have a lot of feedback other than that!

Bill always is available to help me when I need it. It is evident he knows the correct technique for each exercise and shares these with me. He is genuinely concerned that one is performing to there potential without harming their be body and provides encouragement during the whole time while working on out.
Experienced coaching-gave me pointers on improving my technique and provided alternate methods for improving my form when recovering from an injury.
Pays attention to your form and capabilities helping you set the correct weight to keep the form straight so you can push your capabilities while avoiding injury
Jentry always has great warm ups geared toward the WOD and really appropriate movement corrections and queues to improve form. Her scaling and modifications are on point when needed and she brings all the fun outside the box activities too!

Bill is great about taking the time to ensure everyone is healthy and prepared for each movement before the workout begins. During class he his motivating and coaching, and after class he takes the time to check in to see that everyone is well and he takes the time to coach one on one if he sees it could be helpful.
Bill is the best! I’m so thankful every day that I am greeted by him and his upbeat positive attitude. He is absolutely the best CrossFit coach I’ve experienced and offers all of us a come onindividualized experience. Nothing but the best feedback about Bill!

She did very well controlling the class and keeping everyone in track with the warm-up and the movements. She watched everyone’s form and was giving cues to help people do the exercise correctly.

Jentry always does a great job setting us up for success for the workout. Her warmups get us moving while she helps us make a plan - there isn’t any down time which is great! Today’s workout was a long one! I appreciate that Jentry moved throughout the gym the entire time and was truly present with us - it kept the full class motivated and moving.

Outstanding, the detail she take in each and everyone of us is more then caring for his student. She was one of my motivations to decided to stay with the gym. I think I finally arrive in the right place and I see myself for a long time here.
I am grateful for the support from Jentry and the other coaches at NECF. It is nice to know and feel that through all the seasons of life you can count on them to help you work out your fitness goals. Listening, modifying the WODs to so meet you where you’re at physically (without judgement), and encouraging you to push a little farther each time, means more than is even realized. Jentry is great! I'm coming off 2 years of Physical Therapy from breaking my back so the gym and classes are super intimidating to me. She was kind, helpful, gave great direction, encouraging with alternatives when I hit my physical limit and incredibly supportive when I had a hard time mentally afterward. I look forward to coming back and working with her for months to come.

Coach Emily was fantastic! Her verbal, visual, and tactile cues were very easy to grasp and implement into my movements. She was loud, assertive, and confident in her coaching during the warmups and the workout. She was a great motivator during the workout, especially as fatigue started to set in and it would have been easy to rest. Incredible job!
Today was the first time I did this landmark workout, and the coach did such a good job helping me scale it to where I could accomplish all the movements safely, really get my heart rate up there, and feel like I really accomplished the intent of the workout today. There's always so much care in making sure that little movements lead to safer big movements and little corrections lead to big benefits.

Jamie did great running this class. Initial warmup was good, then spent a fair amount of time getting into WOD specific movements. Great workout.
