Coach Brad always pushes me past my comfort zone. Double unders are tough for me but he encouraged me to try attempts and I even hit the goal for one out of five rounds!

I love CrossFit Lake Wylie! I dropped in recently and was so happy to see Coach Greg leading the class - I immediately knew I was in good hands. I hadn’t done a CrossFit class in months, so I was a bit rusty, but Greg was right there, offering clear, helpful tips and cues to improve my form and keep me safe. Throughout the workout, he checked in on how I was feeling, encouraged me to keep pushing, and motivated me to finish strong. The coaches and members are always so nice and inviting. All the coaches are great. Alie makes sure to help me improve on my form and always says hello with a smile when I walk in. Since joining CrossFit Lake Wylie, the biggest change I’ve noticed is in my overall strength and endurance. The coaches really pay attention to your form during lifts and help adjust your technique to prevent injury while maximizing gains. I leave each session feeling stronger and more confident, and it’s clear my body is getting healthier and more resilient. The supportive atmosphere and skilled coaching make it easy to stay motivated and keep progressing week after week.
Brad did a really good job explaining the workout and intended stimulus. He did an even better job helping everyone scale to their ability and managing a tight time frame for the given work.
Tbh, I was grateful to return as I begin my recovery. Friday’s wod was a good one for me, something I could do as I ease back into CrossFit. In the end it was the modifications that made this workout possible. That is what I appreciate about CF as it can be modified to adapt to our fitness level. Thank you for helping me choose the mods for this class!

Yeah! Gregory did great tonight. He knows how much I hate snatches but that didn’t stop him from correcting my form and holding me accountable to it. He’s very patient with me but still gives me that push I need even I don’t show up 100%. Long story short… you did good tonight👍🏾

Wes did amazing as always!!! Extremely attentive to cues for every single member in class, counts warm up reps, goes through progressions and checks for injuries prior to! His whiteboard briefs are thorough and informative and he makes sure everyone understands the work out. I love seeing him give other coaches cues too! Always coaching!

Coach Christine was great! She noticed that Jazmin and I were having some trouble performing some exercises and she showed us some step back exercises that we could do instead. She focused on our performance and gave us lots of tips 👍

Brad is consistently a great coach and pays attention to minor details. He noticed I didn’t have my fingers closed on the bar this morning during front squat warmup. This kind of monitoring helps reduce risk of injury and is greatly appreciated. Always enjoy Brad’s classes and he’s a great person as well.

My trainer Alie was very encouraging, motivational, and supportive throughout the entire class. She was very vocal and engaging, which created a fun, energetic atmosphere that made the workout even more enjoyable. This was only my first official class but all the trainers and everyone working out made it such a welcoming and exciting experience that I already wanted to attend more classes than I originally thought!
This was a great out of body experience. My soul literally left my body. The workout was good but Micah’s coaching was excellent! 😉

Coach Alie is an awesome coach! She’s knowledgeable about all the movements and always takes the time to ensure everyone is using the correct form. Great experience from beginning to end. Tarynne greeted me right at the door and made sure that I was signed up for class and signed the waiver. She showed me where all necessary equipment was located. Class was organized, upbeat, and ran smoothly. The ladies in class (Esther, Alison and Dani) were so welcoming. I will definitely be back the next time I’m in town!
TJs classes are always fantastic. Her pacing through the warmup and progressions is spot on and she always spends time connecting individually with each member. She offers simple but effective corrections when needed but doesn’t overdo it, which I appreciate, as I often get overwhelmed when given too many cues at one time. Thanks TJ for your kindness, consistency, and dedication!

Had my first class at CFLW and the class was very welcoming. Greg did a great job warming us up, walking through the technique for every movement, and then encouraging everyone to stretch as a cool down. I’m glad I’ve joined what I can tell is a great community.
Greg was great! He helped me with my Thruster form timing. I was pushing too early. His instructions through the beginning were very helpful to put the lift together. Everyone was laughing and we had a lot of fun. Highly recommend CrossFit Lake Wylie.

She did amazing , I’m a newbie and she was welcoming , helped me not hurt myself on the bar lifting bc I was struggling at first . She didn’t make fun of me so I felt like more comfortable to make a mistake and try harder to learn even if I felt outta place bc I was not on the level like others . The only thing I would suggest is to have 1 mirror on the side for ppl like me who have trouble with my posture … I felt like I was doing it right at times and had to be corrected a lot bc I really didn’t have the move down. But I was helped and overall successful at doing the posture properly without hurting myself . Thankyou ! I’d like to visit again oneday when my schedule allows .

Dropped in for a couple of classes this week during my work trip. Everyone is so welcoming, coach Laurin and coach Alie were both on point with going over their movements and techniques. I will keep coming back when I’m in town for work.

Great experience! I felt thoroughly warmed up and prepared for class. Didn’t feel rushed afterwards, was able to cool down and do some stretching. The members are so nice, encouraging, and welcoming to drop-ins!
During the warm-up, Laurin made the snatch breakdown easy to understand and gave excellent technique modification ques during the wod. She made it a point to encourage every member during class. I look forward to attending another one of her classes.

It was my first time at Crossfit and Had was welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. He explained the workout and proper technique for each exercise. He also was encouraging throughout the workout until the last person finished. Overall it was a great way to start my day!
