I didn’t attend class, but Devin and another coach working the desk were there to help me join today and they were extremely friendly!! Gave me a tour, helped me with the clock system, and answered all my questions!

The coach (Lara) explained things well throughout the entire class, breaking down each movement so it was easy to understand and follow. I appreciated how they interacted with everyone, checking in on form and offering adjustments to help us get the most out of each exercise.

Devin is a coach who cares.
She coordinated the class very well, in general. Even for me having English as a second language, sometimes during training it is difficult to express myself, but she was attentive and understood my doubts during training.
The coaches always do an excellent job. A couple of things I really appreciate: They give proper instruction and cues with regards to form They make an effort to remember people’s names They bring a great energy to every session Keep it up guys, am proud to be a part of your community🤗
Devin brings a contagious energy and his coaching style is tough but fun! He always find a way to accommodate difficult movements making sure you get the desired stimulus. He is a great coach!

Al really knows his stuff and has a gift for breaking down even the trickiest movements so they actually make sense. He’s always ready to jump in and help, no matter what level you’re at. What really sets him apart is the energy he brings. He genuinely gets excited about helping people improve, and that enthusiasm is contagious. You leave his classes feeling like you learned something and had fun doing it.
I had a fantastic experience training with Coach Sam. From the moment I walked in, she greeted me with a warm smile and made me feel completely welcome. She took the time to explain the workout clearly, ensured everyone felt included, and kept the energy high throughout the class. The session was challenging yet enjoyable, and her encouragement really pushed me to give my best. I left feeling stronger, motivated, and looking forward to coming back.

I didn’t have an option to select Vince in the select a coach field above, but he was great! He helped me decide the best modifications for me and encouraged me to keep going through a long cardio workout even though I am definitely NOT a cardio person. I’m excited to get back into CrossFit!

I had an awesome experience. The class was full of great energy. Coach Nick was very informative and helpful. The whole workout consisted of movements I wasn’t accustomed to, So it was great doing new things. I’ll definitely be back for more!!!
Great coach overall! Nick knows his stuffs and has the ability to explain it to all the students in an easy to understand way.

Solid class and location! The group and coach were friendly and welcoming, which made it easy to settle in. Coach gave great constructive feedback and guidance in areas where I needed improvement—additionally the motivation to keep pushing through the workout. Definitely appreciated the push to keep going during the workout. I’ll be back!
Great Fitness and Performance class! Travelling through DC from Australia. Nick was excellent in instruction & correction of technique. Loved the vibe of the class and intensity. Felt welcomed. My only feedback is could squeeze in a finisher or daily pump at the end of each class, e.g. Tabata 8 sets of 20 second plank or sit ups/candlestick/v-ups.

I was a drop-in from Seattle and immediately Nick gave me a warm welcome and introduced me to the group. There’s always a bit of awkwardness, especially when the coach says to buddy up and find a partner but Nick quickly found a pair of students for me to join up with and that went a long way in putting me at ease so that i could focus on the WOD. And all throughout the workout he kept encouraging individual team members to keep going including myself. This was a terrific workout. I’ll be back.

Great experience exactly what I was looking for Attentive and great coaching
Took the 730AM class, haven’t done CrossFit in a long long time and was eased back into it. Felt like I learned more in 30 mins than the past 3 years. Great coaching by the whole team. David helped become more efficient on the bike and snatch. Maria’s coaching was challenging, encouraging, and informative. 10/10 recommend for newbies and experts.
Nick is a fantastic trainer! He's really helped me a lot (I've only been training for two weeks). He's very patient and explains each exercise in great detail, always motivating me and trying to get me to do my best. A professional like him definitely makes a difference.

I dropped in to Invictus during a work trip that took me to DC for a few days. I had a great and sweaty class! The coaching was top notch and everyone was very welcoming. And added bonus: bathrooms are the best I’ve ever seen in any gym. I highly recommend dropping by when in town.

Smoothly run class, had fun dropping in. Since it was early and only a few attendees got a lot of focused instruction on setup for squat clean to make the tension more hamstring than strain on quads. Appreciated greatly

I’ve visited a lot of CF gyms and Nick is probably the best coach I’ve ever had. From his efficient use of class time and space, clear instruction, commitment to demonstrating and insisting on good movement and mechanics, deep understanding of the method and rationale behind the program, all while giving attention to each person — including remembering names and fitness goals.
David has great energy. Perfect for an early morning class. In one class he immediately helped my Bar Muscle Up.

I’ve had the privilege of training with David for almost a year now and I can confidently say he is a phenomenal coach who truly invests in his athletes. His passion for coaching and success for his athletes is so evident in each class he is coaching (or in open gym!!). He pushes each individual to reach their full potential (even when they don’t want to) through his knowledge, encouragement, and personalized approach for everyone. He had worked with me through crazy night shift schedules, injuries, and so much more. Coming to Invictus and training underneath David has felt like a lightbulb turned on with my own personal fitness journey.

5 am classes can be tough because it’s so early. The best thing for the 5 am class besides a good warm up, is high energy from the coach and Sydney sure brings it! It’s greatly appreciated!
