Zak and the class were all very welcoming from the moment I walked in. That genuine warmth and friendliness made my first class truly enjoyable, easing any nerves I had and helping me focus on the workout. CrossFit Fairfield feels like a great community because of that welcoming atmosphere. Everyone seemed encouraging and ready to support each other, which created a positive energy throughout the session. The conditioning workout itself was solid; it challenged me in a way that pushed my limits without feeling overwhelming. I left feeling both tired and accomplished, excited to come back for more.

Coach Thomas is great! He carefully modifies every workout to fit each member’s personal needs, whether that means adjusting the weight, swapping out an exercise, or changing the pace. He knows exactly how to push you within your limits without overwhelming you, encouraging you to grow stronger and improve your form at the same time. Every session feels challenging but doable because he’s constantly checking in, correcting technique, and motivating you to keep going. CrossFit Fairfield is a wonderful community where everyone supports each other, and that energy makes showing up something I look forward to every day!

Thomas is consistently an outstanding coach. He always ensures everyone is lifting/working with good form and technique, regardless of experience. He knows and understands the athletes so well, that he can tell if someone should go heavier or lighter in weight. He’s truly a one of a kind!

Thomas absolutely crushed it coaching today! He gave me a quick push press cue that instantly helped me hit heavier weight with better form. Thomas always knows when to give that extra push and when to tell you to work smart and stay consistent. The progress he’s made as a coach has been so awesome to watch and witness firsthand—he’s leveling up right alongside ALL of us!
Thomas was an excellent coach today. He remembered me from a drop in last year and made me feel very welcome. He gave a thoughtful white board briefing, changing the warm up to better prepare the athletes for the strength and wod that was scheduled. He gave everyone in the class “touches”, either with encouragement, praise, or correction/improvement of movements. His demos were succinct and to the point, tying in what he was saying/demonstrating with how it would help in the workout. He had command of the class at all times and the class ran very smoothly. My only recommendation would have been to have a brief mobility/stretching session at the end of class. The wod had a lot of volume and a post wod stretch would have been appropriate. Most athletes neglect their mobility unless prompted by the coach. I will return next time I am in town! Thanks for a great workout!

Thomas was great, he corrected my form in real time and gave direction to get the best out of my workout. As someone who is just returning to the gym and sensitive about my body and abilities, he coached in a way that didn’t make me self conscious.
He’s friendly, relatable & incredibly knowledgeable. I learned more today from your class than I have in 10 classes combined. It’s a relaxed environment that allows all to show up how they can and need yet very structured.

I’m lucky to have worked out at CrossFit Fairfield for over a year and a half at this point, and I’m so thankful to have made great connections with both its members and the coaches. I’ve spent most of my workouts under the guide of Coach Thomas. Without fail, each class, Coach Thomas takes the time to thoroughly explain each WOD, strength piece, and makes sure every person attending is set up for success during the workout. We’re lucky to have him as one of our coaches (all of whom help make this gym amazing) and I’m very grateful to be a part of this incredible establishment.

Keith always brings the best energy to the 5:30 am class! He always makes sure every athlete is using proper form and scales to where it's challenging but doable for each individual. His encouragement during the workouts helps push me to the next level in my fitness journey. Keith also fosters a camaraderie with the class where everyone is high fiving and cheering each other on, which makes coming to class this early in the morning a fun and supportive experience.

Mark was an amazing motivational speaker. I was getting ready to quit after the workout. We walked 7 laps around the building with a burden on our shoulders and him standing right next to us motivating us made me push myself to my limits. God helped me a lot through this workout! Thanks mark!!

I always love seeing Thomas during the 4:30 class. He does an amazing job explaining movements and giving scaled options. His passion for other people's success radiates throughout his classes! I've even been to open gyms where he comes in the building and immediately starts supporting and cheering us on like were in a class!!
Mark was great! He observed my rope climb and was able to clearly coach me on how to correct my approach to help me get up the rope more quickly and efficiently. He also waited for the right window to teach me during the workout so I could best receive his coaching. Thanks Mark!

Amazing motivation. I wanted to sleep in, didn't want to push myself like I should, and was tired. He helped me through that, lifting a good weight, and completing the WOD (whihmch I didn't think I'd do).

Marcos did a great job at coaching, he understood where I was starting at and was happy to accommodate and give me 1 on 1 training, making the overall experience much more comforting and rewarding. I look forward to being coached by him in the future and he opened my eyes to the world of CrossFit; he has been quintessential in turning me from a CrossFit hater to seeing a good benefit from it.

Absolutely loved his energy and his uplift as a coach, never a bad moment in the session and his affirmation when it comes to your personal workout, how he comes out of his way to help with form and better ways to do it. I appreciate Coach Joanna so much. Getting back into fitness in general after knee surgery is daunting but getting back into CF is a whole other thing. Jo has been such a supportive and encouraging presence every single class. Helping me work safely within my limits and also pushing me when needed. The mental part of returning from my injury has been the hardest for me and having someone with such a positive and bright energy who I feel like sincerely believes in me, but won’t push me too far too fast has made a world of a difference and has given me confidence and helped me to believe in myself! She’s the best.
