Great coaching and friendly athletes! The coaches at CrossFit Donelson really take the time to guide you through each exercise, correcting form and encouraging you to push a little further without overdoing it. The athletes here are welcoming and create a positive energy that makes every workout feel more like a team effort than a solo grind. The gym itself has a clean, organized setup with all the equipment you need for varied and challenging workouts. Overall, it’s a great gym that feels both motivating and supportive, which makes coming back something I look forward to. Highly recommend.
Spencer cares about ensuring the movements are executed correctly. He explains and demonstrates the movements very well. He is also watches closely during warmup and during the class. It’s great to get feedback during a workout to make sure that you don’t suffer an injury. Overall a great coach!
Smooth, thorough, and motivational coaching, as always! Appreciate you making the decisions and grouping people up quickly so the larger class size wasn’t an issue. I’ve seen other classes waste 5 mins on this because they were left to do it themselves.
Spencer is the best gym owner/coach I’ve ever had. His attention to detail and his ability to communicate tweaks in your form in an understandable way is a true gift. His genuine love for what he does shines through in every class and in the culture he has created at CFD. I used to have to make myself go to the gym and now I don’t want to miss a day! Best gym ever!
I love Ximena’s coaching style! Great energy and incredibly supportive. She knows how to bring out the best in any athlete. Whether you’re young or a much older athlete like myself. I always look forward to her coaching my class!

Considering I had never gotten the rhythm down for kipping toes to bar and I got them since Mike taught me today, I’d say Mike is an excellent coach .
Spencer always encourages the athletes to do what they can knowing their strengths and specialties. He also explains the daily stimulus so you know if you need to scale the workout accordingly. I always appreciate the explanation because I know even if I can’t do the workout as prescribed I’m still going to get a great workout.

Appreciate all the close instruction and encouragement and flexibility with the scaling! Claire was a huge help also and encouraged me to do my best and focus on doing my best while not pushing too hard.
Fantastic class with good vibes, helpful coaching, and emphasis on doing things the write way. I would totally recommend Spencer to others that want to improve their mechanics and have a great workout.
Yesterday was my third class with Jacob. Took me a minute to “get” his style. Definitely a jokester and a little more informal. I like he focuses on how the workout make you “feel” which help you scale and gauge where you are at during the workout. That resonates with me.
Mike is the best coach! He is kind and attentive! So grateful for him! :)
Awesome class and Meg was great! This was my first class/workout at CFD and Meg, along with everyone else, made it easy, fun, and gave a lot of encouragement, guidance, and overall good vibes throughout the entire work out!
Meg was amazing as always, pushed us through the grueling workout of burpees and thrusters.
Meg did great yesterday. We had a small class of only 2 students but we still covered all the basics and the correct form. We completed the warm up and we're prepared to workout. We finished our workout safely and we're encouraged by coach Meg and her music choices. Afterwards she hung around to do double unders for our monthly challenge
Mike's genuine personality and easy-going style of coaching is appreciated. He's patient and does a great job of explaining the movements. All of you give a shit and that's a big deal.

Ximena did great, as always! I really appreciated how she knew the skill set of each member and helped us all scale appropriately. I liked that she gave us the option of either a longer workout or an accessory workout afterwards. And of course I appreciated the encouragement during and after the workout.
Mike always gives great cues and brings great energy to every class. And his warm ups are brutal but always get you going!
I had my first class with Meg coaching. Simply put, she's amazing!! Meg thoroughly explained the workout and did step by step instruction of each movement. She is always very encouraging and makes the workout fun. I will never do a power clean without adding "WaahPOW!" 😂 I look forward to more classes with Meg ❤️💪

If you’re looking for a coach who will gently encourage you while respecting your personal limits… this is not the class for you. Coach Jacob has an uncanny ability to spot even the slightest moment of struggle and will immediately suggest “just 10 more reps on the bench press”—as if my arms weren’t already staging a full-blown rebellion. His coaching style is a mix of drill sergeant, stand-up comedian, and that one friend who hypes you up just enough to make bad decisions—like adding “just a little more weight” right before your soul leaves your body under the bar. Would I recommend his class? Absolutely. If you enjoy pain, sweat, and the thrill of wondering whether you’ll be able to wash your own hair tomorrow. 10/10 would suffer again.
