The energy she brings fills the room with a positive, focused vibe that makes even the toughest workouts feel doable instead of overwhelming. Sure, I had AI write this, then I edited it because the “shorter” button made it “longer.” Plus AI said some hurtful yet true things about my core and shoulders. But back to Jacki, she really does find the middle ground between getting people fired up yet not being so insane that it’s terrifying for the friends that don’t wake up at 4:45am. And when I did ask why I was tweaking my back on a deadlift, she had an answer in .2 seconds that was relevant to me, because she was paying attention to what I was doing. That’s super helpful.

This morning’s class at CrossFit Delaware Valley was exciting and challenging at the same time. Coach Chris guided us through a dynamic mix of high-intensity exercises that really tested my limits and kept me fully engaged. We started with power squat cleans, a move that demanded both endurance and strength as I powered through each lift. The burn in my legs was real and constant. Then came the kettlebell swings, which fired up my grip and core like nothing else. Each repetition felt like a controlled burst of power, forcing me to maintain sharp focus and precision to keep the momentum going without losing form. The rhythm of the swings created a steady, intense pace that challenged my stamina and coordination simultaneously. After that, we moved on to barbell forward lunges. I could feel every muscle working to stabilize me, especially as fatigue set in. Throughout the workout, Coach Chris maintained a close eye on everyone’s form. He didn’t just watch - he stepped in to adjust stances, correct angles, and carefully modified weights when needed to match individual ability. That hands-on attention kept us safe while pushing us to work harder, making me feel supported without losing the intensity of the workout. His timing was perfect, offering encouragement and corrections exactly when needed.
Always allow’s us to challenge ourselves and if we don’t she’s pushing for us. Great coaching as always!

Today was my first time back to CrossFit DelVal in a minute and it didn’t disappoint. Like all the coaches, Chris is a gifted athlete who is a really capable teacher. In a class of 20+ students I don’t think anyone goes away feeling like they didn’t get what they asked for. He provides personal and effective instruction to everyone, and is highly motivating. CrossFit DelVal is a great community and I’m looking forward to returning regularly.
Started three days per week of personal training with Rob about five months ago. Needed to overcome lots of persistent injuries and it was clear that I had hit a wall with how to do that. Rob has the talent and experience to know exactly what I needed to get back on track, and the personality to convey the info in a focused yet fun manner. He’s also fun to talk with; it’s like I’m getting a college level music professor to chat with while he’s guiding me on proper and safe lifting techniques. He gets you to the edge of your peak performance, then helps you safely step over that performance line a little bit to continue your steady improvement while minimizing injury potential.

Chris is a great coach. He saved me from my schools bullies. He would invite me over to paint his fence and sand his floor. I didn’t understand why. But it became apparent that he was training me. Paint the fence helped with my snatches. Sand the floor helped me… well that one I’m not sure about. I think he used me to fix his floors. Anyway I now have all the confidence I need in the world now to win my next karate tournament.

Always a positive experience on Fridays with Coach Rich! He provides insightful instruction and very specific reminders. From the start of the warm-up, throughout the workout, and final cool down stretches, Rich is focused on the all of the athletes in the room, offering tips and encouragement.

Chris is my favorite coach! He's great. He know's his stuff and is a great teacher. But more importantly I have a significant ongoing knee injury and chris and the entire staff have been awesome with being sensitive to my limitations while also kicking my you-know-what. Which has helped my knee condition improve exponentially. Thanks to chris and everyone at cfdv!

Juan is always very helpful and enthusiastic whether giving specific instructions on a lift during barbell club or just generally helping you stay motivated through boot camp. He also never fails to have a big smile for my son who usually comes on Sundays. Very nice Sunday morning routine.

Tricia is a great coach! I did a drop in from out of town. From the moment I walked in, I was warmly greeted by several coaches, including Tricia. In town for son’s baseball tournament and happily going CFDV in quick map search! I was able to get in to a few classes and was super pleased! Coaching very thorough and enthusiastic. I appreciate the challenge to try the Rx version but also permission to adjust the workout according to our individual needs/response. It’s not just about doing what’s on the schedule, but getting the right stimulus for you.

This was my first weekday class in a while and Chris did a great job explaining all movements and standards to reach for. Squatting facing a wall is humbling but good practice/reminder to stay upright. That was the one thing I tried to keep consistent throughout the workout.

I think Chris is a great coach. I may be bias but I really don’t think I am. When he left our gym to start coaching at Delval and be there full time I can’t tell you how many people missed him and still ask about him. He’s a great dude and a great coach. Today I really liked how he told us specific standards for what most people probably think are self explanatory movements. He also displayed what he didn’t want to see as we got fatigued. He displayed a clear picture which I really appreciate.

Chris has been phenomenal! Coming back into CrossFit can be intimidating at 1st. However Chris’ attention to each person in the class is a game changer! And he doesn’t miss anything. If your form is off, he’s gonna catch it even when you think he’s not watching. He’s very flexible with showing numerous options to modify the WOD. Can’t wait for more classes.
