Joined in May 2026 and it's been a great experience. Coach Jennifer and Coach Jill have been great! Thorough warmups, detailed workout explanations, adequate scaling advice, and daily encouragement.
Brighton CrossFit is extremely welcoming to all fitness levels and community focused. The programming keeps you learning and challenged. All the coaches are excellent!
John is knowledgeable, professional, and always willing to take the time to help members improve their technique and reach their goals. The atmosphere is welcoming, the coaching is excellent, and the community is incredibly supportive. Whether you're new to CrossFit or an experienced athlete, this is a great place to train.
I love the group classes at CROSSFIT BRIGHTON with Coach Jerri, they’re the best! Plus, there are many parks nearby and I feel safe and supported here.
Coach Jim always does a great job. He starts the class out with some announcements, keeping all informed about what’s going on and what’s happening in the gyms community. Welcomed guests. Thorough warmup, explained the workout, demonstrated all movements, explained options for scaling. Supportive and watchful throughout the workout and the accessories. Great coach , great place to get a workout in.
The staff are very attentive and encouraging, as are the other members. You will be challenged but at a level moderated to where you are at today. Very good experience

Great workout community, I just started and have felt very welcomed by the coaching staff and gym members. The coaches have been great getting me accustomed to class, making sure I focus on form over weight until I can safely start pushing!
CROSSFIT BRIGHTON feels like a team to me, and I really enjoy the Strength Training classes there. Coach John keeps everything running smoothly with well-maintained and versatile equipment.
Sondra’s instruction on correcting my form has helped tremendously. She carefully watches each movement and picks up on subtle misalignments that I wouldn’t have noticed on my own. I always appreciate her feedback because it’s clear, precise, and given at the right moment, which helps me improve steadily without feeling overwhelmed.

I always enjoy Jenn’s classes. It’s a great mix of cardio and strength.
John always does a great job of spotting small details that can help me to improve. A few small coaching details helped me to improve on a lift today. His advice has really had a cumulative effect over time!
Sondra is always walking around checking people's forms and coaching. She has been very helpful as I learn proper form with BB exercises. She coaches when my form could be better and praises me when I am doing it correctly.

Class was great! Warm-up was a little sketchy,(our fault, we were having fun with it). No one was harmed during the warm-up.
As always, John is not only motivational but also super helpful when it comes to technique. He pays close attention to each movement, offering clear pointers that help me improve form and avoid injury. And plus, he let us pick the music!!! That added such a fun, personal touch to the class and really boosted the energy in the room. It made the whole experience at CROSSFIT BRIGHTON feel more like a community workout rather than just a routine gym session.

John is an excellent coach. He does a great job at explaining each workout. Most importantly though, he does not make you feel pressured to do something you are uncomfortable with. He is really great to talk too and is always encouraging people.

I was new today and hadn't worked out in a bit. With knee issues, he helped me do a squat that didnt hurt. He kept checking in with me to make sure I was doing good (It was hot today). He gave me options if I couldn't run. He modified the workout to meet me where I am

Today was my first day in class. Jim introduced himself, went over first some of the exercises and helped get equipment. When we started he came over and was able to provide assistance and modifications to some of the exercises. Keeping me motivated and positive. Was a wonderful first day of class.

After a 15+ year break from working out and coming back to crossfit, I was appreciative that John was supportive and encouraged me to push hard, but to pace myself and to have some permission to reduce reps so I can come back strong the next day...making this more of a healthy return to a routine that needs to be present. Make no mistake, John was not giving a free pass to take it easy for ever, but he was helping me to focus on form and accomplishing the daily objective, and helping me to realize that the objective doesn't need to be met with the same prescriptive quantities right now where I'm at in my fitness journey.

So as always with crossfit, I almost died!! But it was a decently pleasant death. Worked on all of the things I could use cross training with. Sandra did great as a coach. I had a long break away from CF but she quickly and simply corrected a few of my movements and I was on my way. Great motivation and great coaching.

Jim was great as always. Today’s workout was a little complicated with a lot of moving parts. Jim kept everyone on track and moving throughout the entire workout, continually giving direction and motivation.
John is a great coach, and he understands how to tailor programs to ensure his client/s achieve maximum success. He makes sure each class and each session reflect the motto imprinted on the door: “Welcome to the best hour of your day.”

I’ve been doing CrossFit for ten years and been to many gyms. CFB did not disappoint! I unexpectedly dropped in and the coaches and owner were super easy going. They knew I was a drop in right away and showed me where things were and how to sign in. The class was excellent and efficient, we got a lot done within the hour. Everyone was extremely friendly and you could tell the community was supportive of one another! When I’m back in the area I’ll be dropping in for sure!

I appreciate how Sam makes sure everyone can hear her when she is speaking. She is well organized and versed when explaining the WU, WOD, LIFT & ACC. She demos mvmts with actual mvmt and equipment. She addresses members by name and is encouraging. She provides good cues and vibes.
