Ben does a fantastic job at explaining the workout and reviewing each movement. He’s very attentive to each person while, as a class, are working on each step of a movement to ensure proper form. He is quick to help you adjust and lets you know when you’ve got it right! He’s quick to call you out and say what you did great at. Like “ Heather, nice fast elbows, or “great catch” or “nice shrug”! That’s the stuff that keeps a person motivated and knowing that they’re doing it right! He has such a great attitude and is full of jokes that makes the atmosphere fun no matter how hard the workout may be. He really cares about each person and is very passionate at what he does. It defiantly shows in his coaching style. I enjoy watching him help people be better and being a cheerleader that makes you want to be better!

I really enjoy classes when Desi is the coach, you can always depend on her showing up for you 100%. She engages and encourages every single person in the class and pays close attention to make sure you’re doing all the movements correctly and safely. She also is great at knowing what’s working for you and what isn’t so you’re able to alter the workout in a way that allows you to still get a great session but also not discouraging you the the point of quitting. She always brings her A game to coaching and she expects you to also bring yours!

I have dropped in a few times at Crossfit Anazao, and the coaches and members are always welcoming. I appreciate the time and attention Coach Ben takes to break down and demonstrate the movements. Heather has helped me sooo much with my techniques. She always has some small modification for me to make with the various lifts that make such a big difference. Just something like "try pointing your toes out a little more" or "try this to engage your lats more". When I'm in the middle of a tough set, im not always super receptive to instruction but Heather always presents the instruction in such a way that I understand and so that I know she is only trying to make me better. I always enjoy Heather's classes very much.

Class with Coach Ben is always fantastic and well planned. I feel like all the coaches have our best interests at heart! There’s always a focus on form and keeping us all injury free. The coaches also meet you where you are and help you set goals that are realistic for you.

Lauren did a great job. It was my first time back to crossfit in probably 6 years, and she really helped me get back into the groove. I was struggling with an injury and she helped me modify the workout so I could finish and it still be challenging💯💯

Loved the class!!! Jeremy was super patient, engaging and extremely knowledgeable! His experience was apparent throughout the session! Coach Edgar was friendly throughout the session and made sure I was comfortable with each step. He was thorough with explaining the different techniques and why we implement them. He also gave impactful insights to my for and suggestions on improvement. Coach Edgar then followed up to make sure I was putting them in place. He also encouraged me when I was hesitant to add more weight to my bar and made sure I kept good form as I increased.
