Josh is an excellent coach!! I struggle to say he is my favorite because they all are top tier, but he’s up there ☺️! He is always engaged with the class. Always has a positive attitude and a warm welcome. I appreciate that he spots the slightest areas of form that need correction, he is always encouraging the class and pushing us to dig a little deeper and continue after it. I appreciate him as a coach and a person.

I’ve taken two classes coached by Ellie, both with larger groups, and I was impressed. She did a great job keeping everyone focused and the class running on time. Even with a full room, she was attentive to each member, offering cues and checking in where needed. You can tell she’s confident, organized, and genuinely paying attention to her athletes.

Today was my first day of year 2026 at CrossFit 8 Mile! I loved the intense workout - it pushed me through a mix of strength training and fast-paced cardio that left my whole body feeling challenged and energized. I’m ready to continue the journey toward strength and endurance. Mark’s a great and amazing coach; he was constantly watching my form, encouraging me to keep going, and adjusting my movements to make sure I was getting the most out of each exercise. I realize now that most of the classes I’ve been to were coached by Mark, and that attention and energy are a big part of why I keep coming back.

I was visiting the area for my son’s hockey tournament. I dropped into CrossFit 8 mile for a couple of workouts and had a great experience. Everyone was super friendly, the programming was great and the coaches were experienced and encouraging. Highly recommend!!

Mark was the coach today for barbell club. He gave me specific pointers on my technique. I was able to apply each pointer right away, and I noticed immediate improvement in both my stability and power on the next lift. Throughout the class, Mark stayed positive and encouraging to everyone, checking in with individuals and offering helpful feedback without ever making it feel like pressure. His energy created a great environment to work out in - motivating and supportive. I left feeling confident in my progress and excited for my next class with him!

I like all the coaches at 8 Mile, they're all friendly and knowledgeable . It's not easy having a good attitude at 5am, but Mark manages to coach us well. He gets us out on time , and all with a smile I've done nutrition with Mark . He's also programming me bodybuilding I do at home and love. Thanks coach Mark 5 stars from me

Kayla was incredibly helpful and encouraging today. She took the time to correct my bench press form and gave clear guidance that helped me stop hitting the bar, which made a big difference. I truly appreciate how, even though there was such a large class today at CrossFit 8 Mile, Marc was still able to notice that my ASQ were slipping after several sets. He didn’t just mention it - he took the time to come over, observe my form closely, and guide me through corrections right then and there. That attention made a clear difference in how I finished the workout. It felt like he was personally invested in my progress, adjusting my technique to keep me safe and effective despite the group size. It’s rare to get that kind of focused coaching in a big class, and it really stood out to me.
