Always love Lou's classes. Always! Generally speaking, I'm not enjoying the programming at the moment - the CrossFit WODS seem short and not a lot variety. BUT in saying that, it's good to be back - I've missed the joint.
At CFM you are always made to feel part of the team. With my second partial knee replacement in July 2025, prior to it and until today, I have felt deflated and unmotivated but also extremely limited in what I can do. At CFM and with the people and especially with coach Lulu encouragement I am back! Lulu has assisted me, adjusted the program so it suits my rehabilitation, made me feel i am still part of the session, monitoring that i am moving correctly and most importantly that l am valued and still moving. Thank you for all the support. Extremely awesome network and coaches. XO

Today’s session was exactly what I needed, the perfect mix of strength and endurance. Lou has a real talent for pushing you just the right amount to get the best out of your workout, without ever making it feel overwhelming. I’ve never felt more safe, supported, and comfortable in a gym environment. The energy was spot on, and Lou’s attention to detail and encouragement made all the difference. Loved the balance of cardio and body weight work. It was hard but not impossible. The new run(for me) was a good alternative as you weren’t running into other other people coming the other way. Great to start and finish with the run and I loved the challenge of farmers carry as well. Could abs be included as well? Maybe toes to bar. Just a thought. Enjoy your weekend Lou. Great class.

Lou and Angela were really present throughout the entire session, watching and correcting my form, as well as explaining the why behind things (which my brain needs!). They were really patient, encouraging and happy to explain things multiple times. I get overwhelmed when trying something new, so to feel really supported for my first session was a must, and the decider on whether I would come back. I’ve been going to CFM Hyrox classes for almost 2 months now and they are so well programmed. Lulu’s high energy and encouragement in the early mornings definitely helps me make it through 😂 The community at CFM is great and I’ve felt like part of the crew since day one. Couldn’t recommend CFM enough!
First day trial was great. Met up with Hayley and she explained what was going to happen. Warm up was a good start and explained well. While warming up I was able to scope out the gym and get my bearings and awareness of where everything is. First set of strength exercise was demonstrated well so I was able to follow. Metcon was the same. I pretty much just followed everyone’s lead. The vibe and environment is welcoming and I didn’t feel as isolated or left out. Even though I am more of a quiet and reserved person I didn’t feel as intimidated which is what I generally feel whenever I enter a new gym I’m not familiar with. Everyone’s chill and I love that. Even wishing one of the members happy birthday and having a cake at the end of the session was just wholesome. Hayley continued to give feedback and comments throughout the session so it didn’t feel like I was left out and I was able to push myself more. Overall, it was a great first experience. I enjoyed the style of workouts and it’s exactly what I’m looking for. The people are all chill so it was nice and fun to workout.

Highly recommend! Such a chilled mix crew! Didn’t feel out place or under pressure which sometimes training at a new functional gym can give off that vibe. I like this style of training as your phone is in a pigeon hole and no distractions for 45 mins! I’ll be back!

I was once again surprised at how accomodating the training session was. Lulu changed the exercise’s to cover and injury for me and then worked with me the whole class to make sure I wasn’t injuring myself. She made me feel fully connected to the class and I loved it !!

Lou has an endless wealth of knowledge and is always happy to help members from begginer to advanced. The way Lou approaches her coaching means the workout or strength piece is easy to understand and execute. A lot of gym say it.. BUT CFM is quite literally a judgement free zone. The workouts are about self improvement, encouraging those around you and also having fun while doing so. Both owners Lou and Lulu, as well as all the coaching staff, embody those values everyday. CFM is the best and i cannot recommend the gym more.
