Very laid back, sneakily effective coaching from Tracie! My favorite place to drop in for a workout when I’m visiting town, the vibes are impeccable from both coaches and athletes at catacombs.
Linda is the most in tune coach I’ve ever had. I love her classes because they are fun and inspiring. She’s very aware of the needs of her students and gives us all personalized support when we need it. I’ve learned a lot about body movement from being in Linda’s class.

I personally appreciate even more coaching on personal technique if the class size is small enough. I know not everybody likes that but I do. It was a great class, especially because it was small.
As usual class today was great. I’ve been going now for about a year and never had a repeat yet. Her sense of humor helps you get through the hard parts and she’s always very watchful and corrects my form if I’m not exercising correctly. I’m so glad I joined up a year ago.
Andrea brings something new to each class, and challenges me to do a bit more. That’s appreciated every time.

Excellent class. A good mix of exercises to cover upper & lower body plus abs. It was enough exercise to feel pleasantly tired yet invigorated. Suz had some suggestions and corrections on my exercises which I always appreciate.
Donny is great. He always makes sure to go through the movements at the start of class. And throughout the class as we change exercises. He’s also very nice and encouraging. I would like if he would come around to each group of people throughout the class and check on our form as we do our sets. Sometimes I’m not totally sure I am doing things correctly. Or sometimes I have not set up an Or sometimes I have not set up a certain exercise before. He’s always very responsive if we ask him to come over. Overall, I love coming to Donnie’s strength class. I have recommended it to many people.

Marty always takes the time to teach at least one nuance of each lift/skill aside from the basics. I learned about jumping feet and how lifters change direction like other athletes today. He always wants to share a joke and a laugh too.

Andrea's classes are always fun and well organized. I like how Andrea starts each class with a question for us to answer that allows us to get to know each other better. Andrea is explicit in her instructions and she always makes sure we know what each movement entails. During our workout, she corrects us if necessary and definitely inspires us to work harder. I also like her music! It's always worth it to get up early for a class coached by her.

This was my first solo attempt at the MURPH. I’m 76 with hip-knee issues and Joon gave me exercise options that allowed me to complete without risking injury. He was constantly monitoring everyone’s exercises and providing positive encouragement to everyone. I had not expected to finish but with Joon’s coaching I finished the FULL MURPH in 1:06:03. YAH for me! Thank you Joon! 5- stars.

I think Tracie’s coaching is excellent. She often breaks the ice with a question of the day, she helps individualize the lesson for every participant, she suggests corrections in form in a non-threatening way, she is out there cheering for us on the 400 m runs and at the end of the class asks us to congratulate and high five other members in the class. Having only just started at Catacombs, the gym has a welcoming family feel. Though there are people I know there are many new people I am getting to know. Would be a great gym for newcomers to Durango.

Lindsay is an awesome coach. First off, her energy is excellent. She was engaged the whole class. She does an amazing job at checking in with each class member through the different phases of the class - warmup, lift, workout. Her cues were on point without being overwhelming and she does a great job at giving a cue then letting the athlete chew/work on it without immediately giving follow up cues. 10/10 would recommend!
Great strength cycle, pr’ed my front squat by 15 lbs. Kelsey has taught me a lot about breathing and bracing in the last 8 weeks that has really helped improve my lifting technique. Great and unique programming too!!

One of the greatest attributes of the staff at Catacombs is the innate skill of the coaches to continuously present their knowledge and interest in the details to the athletes in each class. In Donnie's class today, he was consistently nudging each of us, gently but firmly, to go a little deeper into our squats, to tighten my core on my kips, and to make sure to come all the way to the top of my push-ups. Small details that might otherwise go unmentioned or unnoticed, but with Donnie those small details matter, and he reminds us of those in unthreatening and supportive ways. Always great to continuously work on the small things that add up to massive gains over the long haul, and the coaches at Catacombs do it better than anyone!

Linda is a thoughtful trainer that does a great job providing detailed instruction on weight lifting form as well as paying close attention to n individuals needs in a group class setting.

I expect that this will be a boring review as I expect it will say what everyone else says about Brian. He is a most excellent instructor. He is knowledgeable, organized, gives clear instructions, keeps the class moving but still has gone for individuals, and pushes each of us while still keeping the class fun.
Today’s workout had lots of barbell movements. Lindsey, thank you for taking enough time to go over each move w/ the PVC’s and for watching our movements closely during the workout.
The music was great and the individual motivation is always appreciated.

Good workout. Liked that Will kept an eye on my swings as they can be tricky form-wise. I’m pretty inconsistent at coming and always feel welcome when I do. I appreciate that so much!

Great class! Will has great energy, very approachable, and gives great tips on form for lifting. I always appreciate feedback while lifting, whether my form is on par, or if there is anything I can do to improve my form. I appreciate that Will asks what weight we are shooting for. Sometimes you need a little push, especially if things are looking smooth.
