Coach Jen's new ab class is fantastic! If you're looking to build solid abs or get a 6 pack this is the class. My abs are so much stronger which is helping me in my strength movements and I'm learning how to brace better for lifting. Jen's knowledge and commitment to helping develop stronger abs is amazing. She is able to modify or give alternative movements if you struggle or have an injury that are just as effective. I can't recommend this class enough its a great addition to all the other classes offered at Blue Titan.

What’s one positive change you’ve noticed since joining Blue Titan Fitness & Self-Defense, Rockaway CrossFit? Longevity. I started CrossFit at age 64. I am 8 years in and still going. Coaches continue to help me scale my workouts so I can continue with CrossFit as I age. Always afraid I might get hurt but coaches keep me safe. Just read a study today that exercising as a Sr. Reduced chance of dementia by over 50 percent. Benefits of continuing to workout are incredible.

My husband and I are doing a 12 week class for those over 50. It was challenging without being impossible. Worked on balance which is alot harder than you think. Looking forward to getting stronger over the next six weeks. Glen was patient and very informative- lots of positive reinforcement.
Lima does a great job on making sure everyone understands the task and makes changes when needed as well as keeping everyone safe during the drills.
First class in the books! I enjoyed the challenging workout, as well as, the support from the other members and Coach Becca. When I felt like stopping their motivating words made me keep pushing !
Coach Lima is great at what she does. My favorite aspect of her classes is her emphasis on creating the most realistic scenario possible in a training environment. I always feel like I am taking a lot away from classes that she teaches (hopefully I never need to actually find out though)

What was the highlight of today's workout? It was difficult from start to finish, with a mix of intense cardio bursts and heavy lifts that really tested my limits. I’m very happy I finished the workout because it pushed me in a way that felt rewarding, not just exhausting. The coach at Blue Titan Fitness & Self-Defense, Rockaway CrossFit was right there, adjusting my form and encouraging me to keep going when I thought I couldn’t. The atmosphere in the gym kept me focused, surrounded by others who were all working hard, which made the challenge feel worthwhile. Walking out, I felt proud and energized, already looking forward to the next session.

I really appreciate the strict adherence to form. Most coaches wouldn’t constantly drill proper form but his concern for the health of his students is admirable.

Coach Jen is amazing! Her kettlebell classes, like today, are especially fun. She passes on her passion and knowledge from her competition experience. It’s always a great workout & that hour goes quickly! Focusing on form & making that kB fly distracts me from how much I’m sweating. 😅😂 10/10 recommend.
I missed the gym so much and so much has changed but blue titan has truly become a one of a kind atmosphere for everyone. Everyone at blue titan is amazing and have supported me all the way through my military journey.

I think Coach Jen's one of the better, if not best coach ,at BT. She knows how to balance pushing individuals but also recognizing where/when/how to scale, etc... I'm sure she sometimes might feel apprehensive about having to always remind people on form, etc.. but she should def keep it up !
Coach Anthony is the best coach, he is so disciplined and he pushes you to do your best . He explains everything and keeps you motivated and safe .

I started training with Coach Jen in July 2025 after recovering from an injury, and she’s been incredible from day one. Her balance of encouragement, fun, and attention to safety helped me regain both my confidence and my strength. Every session is challenging yet supportive, and her energy makes you look forward to showing up. Jen truly cares about her athletes and meets each person where they are — I couldn’t recommend her more!

This was my first time at a CrossFit gym and I’m in love. I was new to what Glen was working with everyone else in class, but he went out of his way to teach me the basics. I felt very welcomed and quite comfortable in the tryout class. Thank you, Blue Titan!

Coach Jen is a highly motivated and caring coach. Coach-Participants is mostly a true two-way relationship where participants motivate coach and coach motivates them right back. But even when I am down and not able to perform as much, she doesn’t fail to motivate me and not give up. Even when I take long breaks between workouts, or come in after fasting and don’t have the stamina to give my best, she still takes the time to correct my form and encourage me to finish strong. Today’s partner workout was amazing — working alongside someone really pushed me, and Jen’s constant motivation made it even better. Her kindness, attention to detail, and genuine care for each participant show that she truly loves what she does. She’s by far one of the best coaches I’ve ever had.
Jen as always never fails to review all exercises regardless of class size and experience level. She is a great, positive and always supportive coach. Even when not actively coaching while participating in class, she is always helping me modify the exercises to be safe and maximize results !
Class today with Cheryl was excellent. Her classes are always informative, safe and well organized. Cheryl took the time to give individual instruction to each student today, commenting on areas in need of improvement. This is always done in a positive and professional way. She provides positive reinforcement and has the right personality and demeanor to instruct students. She is a super Coach and always represents Blue Titan in a professional manner.

Great Krav Maga session. Dr. Glenn explains each technique in detail. Excellent communicator. He’s able to provide a safe atmosphere to learn effective self defense. Each class is a great workout where you’re learning a life skill that hopefully you’ll never have to use. Highly recommended!
This was one of my favorite classes. Really loved learning handstands and all the variations. I have a good feeling I’ll be hand stand walking in no time.

This review is for Cheryl Katz. For some reason her name was not listed in the drop down option above. Cheryl is an amazing instructor. She takes her teaching seriously. She knows the skills well, very attentive, and always makes sure to provide a constructive feedback. I really like a lot thar Cheryl always teaches the context under which each skill would be useful. I also like that Cheryl is creative in how she teaches, like today when she wanted to show to us how people usually attack with a stick, she filmed us so we can see it clearly and with that she catered our defense class accordingly. Besides being a top notch instructor, Cheryl is a great person with positive aura. I always come out of her class with more skills and feelings happy.

Cheryl coahed. Was a great class. Very thoughtful build working on basics that were later applied in advanced techniques. Very string attention to detail and very clear instructions with corrections along the way. Great class!

Loved the class. My endurance is up, I’m learning new things, and challenging my mental and physical strength! The classes have a friendly atmosphere while also having a sense of friendly competition to keep you motivated and moving.
I’m new to class and Jen (and the whole class) made me feel welcome and comfortable to modify and ask questions as needed. The support is perfectly balanced with Coach Jen’s encouragement and expectation to push myself!
Coach Jen has strengths of leader, teacher, mentor & approachable. She is always finding better ways to teach us moves. she breaks them down into digestible bites for people like me that have tough time using my brain when I workout- this is helpful. I always look forward to workouts from Coach Jen.

Today was my first time back at CrossFit for the first time in eight years. Coach Keith had a lot of patience, but also made sure he pushed me out of my comfort zone!
It was my first class back after 8 months. I’ve been dreading coming because I knew all the progress I made would be lost and I’d be staring at square one again. But from the moment I walked in and back to class, Keith welcomed me, modified exercises, encouraged me and expected my best. Can’t wait to come back again. Thank you!
Keith is my fav coach. He knows to push, but is also balanced when he can tell im struggling. Todays workout was perfect for my first transition class from privates and he is skilled at balancing between supportive and pushing me.
Really good! it was my first class so I wasn’t sure of what to do at some times but i felt really good with the workout and the coach was great he guided me through what to do and how to do it right

Brian is an amazing coach. Staying true to his day job, Brian is amazing at teaching difficult skills by breaking them down into understandable components. He will go the extra mile to teach you a skill and be as happy as you (if not more) when you land it. One time Brian took a video of me attempting a Kip handstand push-up just so that I could see myself and apply his pointers. After that I was able to nail the skill! Also, he just has a wonderful aura that makes everyone feel included and comfortable. 11/10 for coach Brian 🫡

Great class after coming back after a few weeks away. Easy to modify the work out for my needs but still pushing myself to get the best workout w out hurting myself. I liked being outside in the beautiful weather tonight.

I love Keith and i only like to go class when keith is teaching and i am glad he pushes us because i would totally give up and sit down when i’m too tired if it weren’t for keith pushing me, oh and also what about offering a free protein shake for those who complete the Rx just a thought for a little extra motivation?

2nd sparring session. Today with Coach Cheryl. Very well run class, good people, nice environment (even when people are punching and kicking you 😉), but it is something that I want to stick with. My body doesn't believe that class is only 30 mins!
